@@joshdh46 good question! I had zero issues with them & I’ve never seen a cobra. There are for sure, but they stay away from humans and, as long you don’t enter in a rice field barefoot in the night, you should be good. In four years around Asia, I’ve seen three small snakes in total, and a small one in the Colombian hills. Geckos are very common in Southeast Asia, but it’s good if you have them in your room because they eat mosquitoes and such, and they are harmed (actually pretty cute hehe). You might see some spiders, or you might not. I'd say it's more like 60% no, 30% yes, based on my experience. In South America, in tropical regions, they have quite the same critters, but in cooler areas such as Cusco, there are none really, or very rarely. If you are from Florida, you’re basically vaccinated against them 😄
Thanks for this video just starting out my journey as a digital nomad. Enjoy your next adventures!
I’m suuper excited for you! Have the best adventure !
Great video, Very helpful🙏
Can I ask in what season you guys have been in Lima?
So glad to hear 😊 we were there in November !
Chiang mai Thailand is my favorite digital nomad destination😊
We love it soo much too, but Bangkok is in our heart ❤️
I have to ask, how many issues have you had with critters?
I live in Florida, so I'm a bit used to it, but we don't have Cobras over here!!!!
