I'm a lightly tuned Z4M coupe owner so the TT-RS is my "enemy".
We don't have TT-RS's here in Brazil yet, only the TT and TTS and even with power chip's they are no mach for the Z4M on our local track events.
On the other hand, I fully recognize this is a very nice and fast car! Faster than a stock Z4M for sure!

my one has:
R888, whiteline kca316+w050, rear H&R arb, HPP gen4plus in race mode. ESP in sport mode. light arcasting wheels and light front rotors. Then you must be very accurate on weight balance when approaching the turn. But i agree with you then understeer is very light and with wet track you have a light oversteer from TTRS. I've found in Balocco-Italy an italian skilled user with a medium-tuned 1M with sport-cup. I was with old PS2 to be killed. Few laps tiogether, then i let me overtake. You find video here. Them Maurizio came on my TTRS and he said that in his opinion TTRS performance are higher than 1M. Surely less emotion on TTRS. Anycase. I love 1M. In addition to GT3 dream, the second dream is to own both my TTRS s.tronic than 1M. In the meanwhile i've bought together with friends a M3e36 !

TTRS s.tronic. good sporty car. all-round. nice to watch, comfortable. all-round. can be used lightly in track-days, but not race car. not too expensive to maintain. Nice car. really ALL-ROUND: work, shop, skiing, holiday, a few track.day. The Dream is always the unreachable 997 mk2 GT3.

car was brandnew (4500km old).just careful run-up in italy before going to Eifel.
in the video it was all stock except:
-toyo-R888 245-18 on light wheels
-motor oil mobil 5w50
-Haldex HPP controller
-steel brake hoses
-ate superblue brake oil
-rear brake system (i've installed my previous Omnicompetition 4pot+335mm 2pieces rotor and ds2500 pads coming from previous TTs
-front brake fully stock (my omnicomp 6pot+355 is in the box waiting for 2012 season)
no more.

Wonderful video! Direct to my Nordschleife favourites wardrobe :). So much fun! Seems that a Mitsubishi EVO joined the party and was also having fun behind the 1M, and being just as fast. Great camera angle, perfect vision, keep the good work. Does the ring personnel allow filming onboard nowadays?

Great vid's, really love the Ring. The 1M and TT-RS are also quicker then a Gallardo.... at around 04:00 min you both passes one;-). Can't compare cars with 2 different drivers. But nice to watch.... nice car also.

UL FUNF is doing the greater part of the job here,
i'm only trying not to destroy the car.
TF is becoming day-by-day more dangerous than in the past.
i've succeeded with stock car in doing 7.58 BTG during a medium-trafic august sunday afternoon (+32°C temperature).
I'm really satisfied, but the risk is probably too high for a gentleman driver paying everything will occurr without sponsors.

Next time i will try to use an old BMW e36 M3,
much slower but probably with the taste of real driving pleasure.
And TTRS probably will be used in OPL day, safer for everyone.

Same orange hued Lambo drove by my house on 12-4-27 . Wow the oversteer 1//M can't lose the understeer TTRS .

as told. video does not want to be "the war between 1M & TTrs".Just fun.
But:
TTrs has no Ecu tuning, only R888 70% wear, no more.
1M could be stock, but no one can know....
the driver never stop in paddock to have a chat... just gone away (also if asked by me to stop and chat together
some-one say in Forums that 1M-driver is an active VLN-driver..... i'm waiting for the name
the 1M wheels are black, the OEM are silver. No-one knows if also tires was'n t OEM...
But no matter at all.

I have the S and are thinking about gauges like wifi ODB2. Then saw you RNS with a display in it. Is that from an AV in from some other device?

Ma nel vecchio ring, penso a parita' di conoscenza pista
La ttrs ne aveva un po di piu della 1M nei tratti guidati
E forse un filo di motore in piu in salita, ma non e' certo indicativo.
In ogni caso questo video non vuole e non ha intenzione di creare sfida o gara tra le 2 storiche fazioni.
Gousto la fortuna di essersi trovati con 2 auto rivali naturali a circa parota' di tutto in una delle location migliori al mondo.

i use racechrono on nokia n95 with tv out. then i have an external dvd-video on device linked to the RNS. i connect nokia with video in then i select ssource TV from RNS
