I like how this series took all real life events like 2001 parliament attack, 26/11 Mumbai attack, demonetisation and incorporated a fictional story around it while keeping true to real life facts as much as possible
@AD brother they were trained in hostage keeping. They nearly missed going in the parliament, which was in session. It would ve been the 1st time in the history of the world that almost the entire legislature of a country would've been taken hostage. They were trained enough, we just got lucky.
Yes.. was waiting for this series review for a long time. This series is not highly rated for production value or staging but this one is gripping and intense none the less since it binds real events seamlessly with the storyline. The parliament attack 2001 incident was real..the creators made the series around that plot ' a man hunt of the 6th terrorist (leader aka master mind)' And it took 19 years to hunt him down From 2001 to 2019
Please watch all episodes as well as both seasons . It is the best . You will be thrilled - you said you liked the story till now but jaby ...😄😄wait . You don't even know how good the story is . Its awesome .

That's not Red Fort. That's Indian Parliament. This attack happened which brought India and Pakistan very close to an all out war. Both the armies were deployed on the border, eye ball to eye ball for 9 months.

Terrorist do have training , not similar to military but they do get trained , India's neighbour has many training camps, which recruit, train and deploy terrorists even export them . Terrorists who did 26/11 were trained to ride any vehicle possible, learnt India's native accent , were trained, made complete plans step wise, knew all the routes to move in the city and more .
About that strobe effect Jaby.. Even I don't like it when the frame rate drops so steeply, out of the blue, but you guessed right. It's a stylistic choice and I can confirm (having watched almost all of his films) that it's a Neeraj Pandey (the creator of the show) trademark lol.

Asur was a good attempt that's all. Its script had many 'gaps'. For someone who enjoyed Paatal Lok, Family Man, Mirzapur etc, Asur might feel like a mediocre show.

Jaby, the terrorists being untrained is part of the story actually. That's why Pakistan trained their terrorists properly for the 2008 attacks

the second season got me, it's literally the perfect spy thriller (imo). You'll definitely enjoy both season 1 and 2

KK Menon is one of those few actors, who can convey a whole lot of emotions without moving a muscle. He is so amazing! Plz do watch Seasons 1 and 2.
