I think the turkey def made it so Christmasy familiar at Shichisai but props have to be given to Syo for the creativity as well, esp those red and greens 😊. Both great bowls indeed and Happy Holidays!
They indeed were good! Almost forgot about that brand 😊. No whiskey in this bowl - just emphasizing I imagine how exotic the bird is in Japan and that they're not farm raised?
I think I'd go for the more exotic tomato tsukemen on this one, even though you guys seemed a little lukewarm about it. maybe it was a little confusing for the palette with the spaghetti similarities and the ramen noodles. but the flavors seem like they would work. happy holidays! looks like its sleepy time 😴😴. way to go, no days off! it must be time to watch george bailey lasso the moon for ya.
The tsukemen was actually a lot of fun - you would have loved it for sure. I think it was because they were both heavy bowls it was harder to get through bowl 2 and talk about it 😅. While it was more Italian spaghetti leaning, the flavors def worked. Happy Holidays! You know it - watched George lasso that moon, haha 🏅

Here in the UK, absent any Thanksgiving traditions, many of us have turkey just for Christmas, so that turkey ramen is actually very Christmas-appropriate for me! That's the one I'd go for 😁

Turkey is harder to come by here - you don't see many restaurants serving it. So it was maybe extra special and exotic! Deliciously complex 😋
