Good lesson. The music theory is important and the strumming. The other important part is the amplifier setup to simulate the original song. The setup is something that takes more knowledge than I have.

Both the D and G chords you play as power chords (with a shuffle 6) but I'm wondering why you use a triad on the C-chord? Did you have a particular reason rather than maintain the power chord + 6 shuffle? Keep up the great work!
