Stranger of Paradise is Final Fantasy meets God of War, where the gameplay feels like Nioh/Demon's Souls and the engine was worked on by Team Ninja. It's a strange collaboration, but one that surprisingly works nonetheless.
My favorites are Lich, Kraken, Ultima Weapon and Neon. Bikke would be perfect if it followed with using the dropped axe, but maybe will be too much to think he still speak after that LOL.

Ok besides the fact that Final Fantasy is not known for its gore or showing dead bodies (Zack Fair and I’m assuming others being the exception). However, I still gotta ask why Garland’s enemies turn into crystals when they die?
It's because he has the power turn organs and blood into crystals and that's why his crystals are red I guess? I don't know but it appears to work this way, it's a good way to censor the gore even tho I prefer it to be uncensored

With all of these, it's really hard not to love Jack. He's just so brutal, so determined, you really just wanna go with the flow.

This game was made on a shoestring budget and you can really tell where they chose to put their resources in. And it was the right choice.
