This is such a timely video! Last week, I made a commitment to dive deeper into the decks that came from the Golden Dawn (Thoth, RWS, Hermetic Tarot). Thoth is my favorite out of these three. There’s something about the art that just pulls me in like a magnet. It’s forever an enigma to me which makes me want to study it constantly. Also, Tarot of Vampyres is an ever evolving study…always ❤️🔥

Good sound advise. My first 2 decks were the Triple Goddess, which is a RWS style deck and Dreams of Gaia which is not. So it sat on my shelf for a while. But now that I have read tarot for many years now , I’m looking forward to using it again.
My top study decks are: Thoth tarot. Tarot apokolypsis (my all time favourite deck) . Mary el tarot. Devient moon tarot. Wildwood tarot. Osho zen tarot. All of these decks have great guide books to go into, and all do there own thing. Thanks for anouther great video!

Loved watching this! I think I have mainly 5 tarot decks I consider having this "gotta dive deep and really study"-decks. Mary-El Tarot, Tarot of the Crone, Tarot of Transformation, Tarot of Vampyres, and Watcher Angel Tarot. They all come with great books and just have this vine about them, that they are better if you truly care to learn their (secret) language. ;)

"Phantasmagoria" really is an excellent Tarot guidebook. I still have my first edition and it remains my favorite deck specific guidebook. It's phenomenal. ❤

Tarot 101 is my favourite tarot beginner „workbook“. The pairing of the major arcana cards, the exercises and further reading recommendations are sooo good. The two companion Books Kim Huggens wrote (for tarot Illuminati and for tarot apokalysis) are also top notch. I am just a fan 😂

I have seen both on Tarot blogs and TH-cam recent hints that The Ritual Tarot will be reprinted within the next 12 months, so you might have a chance to get it. It's still going to be expensive though compared to a regular mass-market deck.
Do you use any of the Rune decks for studying Runes? I just got the Green Glyphs Runes deck. I have the The Tarot of Vampires, Ritual Tarot,Night Sun tarot and the Dreams of Gaia Tarot and have used and studied them all quite a lot.

Kabbala is sort of like meditation on creation. For example there's a principle that says that G-d hides and we're supposed to find him. There's a question if G-d created other worlds. Etc. The problem of Evil is Kabbalistic. Can the Devil repent?? No he can't. Can people repent after they pass? No they can't. On the other hand, trees represent genealogy and growth at a cosmic scale. It is generational. Each node in a tree makes a tree stronger. Your tree is your clan, if you come from Scotland, for example. It's what Mormons are freaking robbing U.K. for, miss.

(The spanish version) Also I bought in the last time Mausolea, Murder of crows, Lantern oracle and three decks of Lucy Cavendish! (I had shadows and lights already). The book is great in the Spanish version, but the cardstock is the kind that gets ruined very fast through shuffling. The cards are definitely bigger than the English version of Tarpt of Vampyres, so that's a plus for me due to the intricate artwork.
i’ve decided after dabbling with tarot for a few years to really study and master it, starting of course with RWS. i’ve purchased holistic tarot and tarot 101. is there a book you would recommend starting with? i’ve started with the beginner course guide wen has offered to work through her book. tarot 101 gets delivered next week. i don’t know if it’s a good or bad idea to try to work through both books simultaneously
