  • 14x6 Walnut Hendrix Drums Archetype Series thin stave snare drum. These snares are built by hand using the traditional stave shell construction method. Each solid stave shell is milled down to 1/4" thick, giving the drum a large tuning range with lots of body and resonance. Each drum is outfitted with the absolute top of the line features, allowing the shells to perform to their fullest potential as completed snare drums. You can learn more at www.hendrixdrums.com . Feel free to email us at rhett@hendrixdrums.com if you have any questions or would like to make a purchase.

Do you guys think you could do these kinds of demos for your other snares?
I’ve seen demos from those other Shops but it’s hard to get a good sense of their true sound.

Did you have a drum/species in particular that you were interested in? Or are you still just browsing for now? We will definitely have more demo videos in the future, but for now, we'd be happy to answer any specific questions you may have about certain wood species.

Hendrix Drums Well first off - thank you very much for the quick reply. I appreciate that.
I am 100% purchasing one of your snares. Right now I am trying to decide between the American Black Walnut stave, The Black Cherry Stave and the African Sapele stave snares.
I’m looking for something very warm, blocky, and throaty.

@@CipherSerpico You are very welcome! I'd point you toward the Walnut to get the sound you're after. Walnut is remarkably versatile, and it can be warm, throaty, and blocky with the right heads and tuning. And I think it looks great too! =)
