In this video, I will show you on how to make a easy South Indian Breakfast/Dinner recipe using Thinai Arisi or Foxtail Millet and Urad Dal. Foxtail Millet is a great source of dietary fibre, protein and is low in fat and is good for a diabetic friendly diet. Unlike traditional dosa recipes, this recipe contains no rice. This dosa is made similar to any other dosa batter - ingredients are soaked, ground and fermented overnight. The dosas are soft and delicious. One never misses the rice element, which is the best part about consuming millets, according to me. This Thinai dosa is best served with sambar and chutney.
