Man, hardly any vocal-driven bands these days (mainstream radio) write and sing truly deep, meaningful songs, especially where the music matches & complements the the lyrical meaning. Seems almost a lost art from mainstream radio, and totally picked up on the indie-side when it comes to today's music. Thank you for such a wholehearted, solid cover of this time-transcendent song.
Thanks for checking it out. That's why the original artists and their songs are tough to emulate, and cover songs are well, cover songs. Never going to be an exact duplication. Keep watching for more 80s covers on the way!!
@@katalystbandrocks1355 I have to agree with Alonzo. As a guitarist, to me the best part of the song, are the slightly distorted chords at :59 and 1:01 on the original. BUT GREAT JOB YOU GUYS. THX!!
We try to get the details as close as possible to the original, lyrics, music, etc. For the keys, after auditioning a bunch of Prophet-5 plug-ins (a SC P5 was used on the original recording), he decided to go with XLNAudio's CP-80 for the track. He's a stickler for accuracy and we think he did the original keys justice. Thanks for stopping by!!
Completely wonderful!!🎵🎶👍
Thank you for the kind words. Hopefully, more 80s covers on the way!!!
Absolutely touching cover of this exquisite tune ....
Thanks for stopping by!!!

that sax sample is legit. what software is that?
It was the Alto sax from Kontakt's factory library.
@@thomastorhanmusic8308Thank you! I'll check it out!
I think..or possibly part of the Session Horns library from Komplete 🤪
@@thomastorhanmusic8308 Either way, its sounds better than my Kronos, ha!
Sound good but guitar player played way to tame. Original guy punched the guitar parts this guy was conservative
