If you wanna see them dance.... check out "blue aint your color", "Hillbilly Bone", & "love train". & of course "never ginna give you up". They CAN bust a move, but they prefer to stay low key & just do their thing, which is just sing beautifully without going all out. 😉🥰🥰🥰
Or as Shawn Stockman said when they were on the Sing Off they stay at n the box then jump out of the box then back in box they stay true to themselves and that what make them great 😂
Austria, while on tour over there, they shot this video with the backdrop of the Swiss Alps and the help of an excellent drone operator. Superb performance of a great song.
Angelic choir backed by a pipe organ. Tim and Chance hit us with the double bass at the end. You want Temptations? React to “ Blue Ain’t Your Color”. Motownesque rendition of a Keith Urban song. Rob lead shared with Chance. The choreography is such fun. Then check out “I Can’t Outrun You “- Chance lead, 5 part harmony, hauntingly beautiful, and Chance directed the video. For fun I think you’ll enjoy “Butts Medley”. It’s so well done and just hilarious.
These guys could sing the warning label on a bottle of cyanide and make it sound appealing. The Butts remix is a funny one and they do the two step in that one. They in my opinion are the best group out there. They can make you cry one minute and the next minute they have you rolling on the floor laughing. The individual talent let alone the collective talent that they possess is phenomenal. If you ever have the opportunity to see them live please take it. My son and I went to see them live and they are just as good live as they are in the studio. They are top tier, the real deal. Have a great day!
There is a video, where the concert was rained out, but Home Free did not want to have the fans go without anything, so they huddled under an overhang and sang this truly acapella with no mics etc.... it is beautiful and proves how extremely talented these guys are. th-cam.com/video/SoVFPvp8Vh4/w-d-xo.html
My favorite video. It not only shows their talent but how much they care for their fans. I was there and it choked me up. But when I was told by one of the organizers that they were given the opportunity to be driven up to the pavilion, they said no. "if our fans could walk up that hill in the rain so can we" It made me love these guys even more.
I have actually found ,myself in the most horrific upset, sad and angry moods and have put on Home Free, just so I can calm down and straighten myself out. By the third song, my mood lifts and I'm smiling and depending on the song, I'm laughing or crying (the good kind) in happiness. It's like therapy, to me.
Another fabulous arrangement by Darren Rust. And a master class in 5-part harmony. Beautiful. They are mesmerizing without any fancy moves. But they do a Temptations "imitation" in their video for Blue Ain't Your Color. Trust me when I tell you that dancing is not their superpower. But we applaud them for doing it anyway. And there is some dancing in their video for Love Train.
Every time I watch this one, I get full body chills. This one and Helplessly Hoping, are a master class in harmonies. If you want to see them bust a move, you'll have to watch their covers of Hillbilly Bone or Blue Ain't Your Color, but you're right, they don't have to dance.
I think this is one of the best versions of this song. Tim's bass really carries the song. I found Home Free 2 years ago & love these 5 talented guys. Their harmonies are the best in the business. This is one of the few songs where you get to hear Adam Rupp's (beatboxer) sweet tenor voice during "It Is Well". And the scenery is awesome filmed in the beautiful Austrian Alps (my dad came from that area).
I see you commenting a lot. Just running a thought by you. I have seen some paid music critics be very tepid, at best, about HF. I gotta wonder if they're being paid by labels to suppress independent artists by their, not un-often, demeaning comments.

It’s awfully easy to become a Home Fry….these guys are so exceptional ….just love them & their Amazing voices 🫶🏼🎵🎶💗🎶🎵🫶🏼‼️ They’re singing in the Austrian Alps….not far from Vienna….it’s just heavenly 💗🙏💗🫶🏼‼️
Just a suggestion. You should consider wearing headphones when reacting to Home Free to get the full effect. You are most likely missing some good stuff without them.
💖🍟 Please. Please Please - if you aren't wearing some sort of headphones you are only listening to Home Free, you aren't HEARING them! Don't miss out on ANY of their sweet sounds! Headphones!! Enjoying your reactions & I have subscribed. 💖🍟
They do dance and move around in their concerts. Since you mentioned the Temptations, they did a cover of "Blue Ain't Your Color" in a doo wop style doing Temptations' moves. If you like their harmonies try their cover of "Helplessly Hoping".
There is a video of them singing this in a picnic shelter during a thunderstorm that interrupted an outdoor concert (it was a safe place because they were effectively surrounded by metal. They came over to the fans there and sang for them since they could not do the regular concert No mikes or other equipment, and it is filmed on a phone. They still sound amazing. Even if not for a reaction, you should give it a listen.
My mother sang this song to herself all the time. While doing dishes to walking her dogs. Makes me tear up everytime I hear them sing this song. Thank you for the wonderful reaction. Miss you mom❤
Losing your mom is one of the hardest because she takes a part of your history only she knows. So many questions you wish you had asked but you can’t imagine a world without mom so you put it off. God bless you in your grief. You never get beyond the grief but a little at a time the precious memories become stronger than the deep sorrow. We all grieve in different ways so don’t ever let someone tell you how to grieve or how long the grieving period should last. Just try to do what honors your mom. No love is bigger or stronger than a mom’s except God’s unconditional love for us! ❤️
@@JanSkaggs Thank you so much for your kind words and support. My mom was my whole life. She was/is still my rock. She always had the best sagely advice. Guiding me through any darkness in my life. She always talked about seeing Heaven and Angels one day. Always singing to herself while going about her day. Her faith in God was strong. As was her faith in me. The pain of losing her is so hard to bear. But I listen to this song and smile at her memory. She's still with me everyday. I am alone now. And your message really helped. God bless you for your kindness. 💙
The most beautiful rendition of this song I've ever heard, it lifts me and humbles me at the same time. No matter how many times I listen to it it moves me like no other rendition ever has. I start and end my day with Home Free. Loving your channel.
I don't know if you've ever seen it, but there's a video (or two) from a concert that got rained out. It was outdoors, and a thunderstorm came up in the middle of the concert, so some of the audience gathered under a picnic shelter hoping the weather would clear, while the guys checked the weather forecast. Then all five of the guys ran through the pouring rain to the shelter to announce the storm was going to last too long for them to finish. But then, without any microphones, without any stage lights, without any in-ear monitors, soaking wet, with the sounds of rain and wind and thunder all around, they sang this song. And it is breathtaking.
I love your reactions.. I adore this group of men...I've been following them for quite a few years.. For me one of the best acapella groups out there... They're not from this world I'm telling you the things that these men can do it's insane.. they are a music software that's what they are...🏡🆓🏡🍟❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Love your reaction, there is something special about Home Free that pulls you in. They sound even richer with the stereo recording - the best way to listen to Home Free is live in concert, the second best is with a good set of headphones! Even if you don't prefer to use headphones during reactions, I hope you try it in your own time or during editing!
"Blue Ain't Your Color". "Mayday". Helplessly Hoping". Wait until you hear their Christmas covers and originals! Wait, don't wait, go ahead and listen to "Do You Hear What I Hear", "Mary Did You Know", "Snow Globe" and so many more! Love from a Texas Home Fry 🤠
We all love the fact that you are enjoying your experience by hearing their version of songs for the first time but we don’t want you to miss anything so please WEAR HEADPHONES you are missing some stuff if your not wearing them! Happy listening!
Let me add to this recommendation. A lot of sound systems, phones, pc speakers, etc aren't going to deliver on the rich bass in most of their songs, and you aren't going to get the soundscape and motion that the audio engineer has worked so hard to create. Darren Rust, their producer, is an absolute wizard and deserves more credit than he ever gets.
A lot of Home Fries have a little extra love for this song because we get to hear Adam Rupp sing lead. He's such a talented beatboxer that we rarely get to hear his pure tenor voice.
This was filmed in the Austrian Alps. As for their dance moves check out their cover of the O'Jays Love Train, and their Temptations like cover of Keith Urban's Blue is Not Your Color.
It would be one thing if they only sung one kind of music but they are so versatile. Not only the songs surprise you but the music videos sometimes are so well done as to be astonishing like this one that they shot in the Alps. Who would have expected that from a group with that Country label that they have? They can sing anything they put their minds to and sing it well, no make that damn good.
Great reaction. We Home Fries understand the need to rewatch/rewind/repeat - sometimes it’s just so good we need to hear all the layering, harmonies and dynamics again. Suggestions: Blue Ain’t Your Colour One Man Band Take Me Home Country Roads My Church Listen to the Music Love Train Workin’ for a Livin’ and so many more!
You want to see the boys move? I suggest a double feature: their cover of Nine to Five (Dolly Parton) followed by their live version of this and have your mind blown by their beatboxing breakdown (2015, on the Jeff Shultz channel). But you really should react first to Adam Rupp's Drum Solo (2015, on the Russell Wolff Productions channel). That video is a must-see in the Home Free lineup.
So... You just Heard Adam Rupp (The beat boxer) sing. One of the very few times that he actually sings as an individual. If you want to see Home Free busting out a bit of a move, you should react to "Blue ain't your color" and "Love train" These guys will be the first to admit that they cannot dance but as you will hear at the end of blue ain't your color.... It was the most rehearsing they have ever done. They are game to try anything and they sound beautiful no matter how poorly they may dance 🙂
These men really bring heart happiness during these dark times. Can they dance - oh Yeah - Blue ain't your color :) This was filmed in the Austrian Alps. Folsom Prison Blues should be on our list. :)
While on tour in Austria, Home Free vocal band filmed a video for their take of “How Great Thou Art.” They took the opportunity to use the local scenery as a backdrop. Thanks to their video production team members and a local drone operator, the group took the famous Christian hymn to another level.
Amazing reaction ❤ I think you should listen to this again with headphones. In general, you miss a lot listening to Home Free without a headset... Also, check out "Blue Ain't Your Color" for some dance moves by the boys 😁
One of my favorites of theirs. This was filmed in the Austrian Alps when they were touring there. Did you hear the beatboxer Adam singing? He sang the small part “it is well”. He doesn’t sing often but is a tenor. This is a beautiful hymn I’ve sung in my church many times. This is so stunning. Great reaction but you need to get headphones so you can hear all the great sounds from the boys. Try What We Ain’t Got, Folsom Prison Blues, Die a Happy Man. 😍
This was apparently filmed in the beautiful Austrian Alps. The boys were there for a show and fell in love with the pure majesty of the mountains. I think it’s the perfect backdrop for these 5 angelic voices and this triumphant hymn!
One of my favorites of theirs. There is a version of this being done live in Kearney, MO during a rainstorm. No mics, no fancy moves, just 5 voices in front of a damp but enthusiastic crowd in a tent. It’s worth checking out.
This was filmed in the Austrian Alps and we even get to hear Adam Rupp sing (he's usually beatboxing but has such a good voice). As always, the singing & harmonies are just gorgeous. They dance in the videos "Love Train" & "Blue Ain't Your Color". Their video "Timeless with special dancer" is guaranteed to make you smile.
When Austin (long curly hair) was a kid he sometimes traveled and sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia. The video of "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" with the Oak Ridge Boys is fantastic.
You should check out their song called "Everybody Walking This Land" if you want to hear a killer tune, especially Tim's speech after the song finishes.
These guys are the best at standing still, they do a " Temptation " moves in Blue Ain't Your Color" Keith Urban asked them to it, guess he really liked it. Thanks for the great reactions.
Googled this: While on tour in Austria, Home Free vocal band filmed a video for their take of “How Great Thou Art.” They took the opportunity to use the local scenery as a backdrop. I purely enjoy seeing these boys give you the stank face. I agree that you just can't use enough superlatives to describe their music. BTW, this vid and the last Home Free reaction earned you a new sub.
@barbarakennedy2667 Approaching the impressive 100 million views mark on TH-cam, Home Free continues the momentum with their awe-inspiring video for “How Great Thou Art.” Filmed in the Swiss Alps while overseas for a headline show at the European Country Festival, This is why I said Swiss Alps. I knew it was the Swiss Alps, but to be sure I double checked.
Wow I just came across this I loved your reaction and they are awesome. I am a home fry for sure. I had never believe it or not heard this song before and I saw also Carrie Underwood doing this song with Vince Gill oh my God it made me cry so I am finding my Christianity and this was just so beautiful thank you for sharing❤
In case you were wondering how much of this sound is down to studio production, there are several fan videos of them singing this live off mic and it still sounds absolutely amazing. I'm going to see them live for the first time here in the UK in September and I'm so excited for it. Try Love Train, or Blue Ain't Your Colour, or Hillbilly Bone. You'll have a whole army of Home Fries with you.
For me this is the best version I've ever heard of this song. So beautifully sung in a wonderful scenery. All those different voices, but still one. Even Adam sings a bit! That is amazing. I come from a Christian family with several pastors. This song was often sung at our house. Especially my father sang it (in Dutch) with his great voice. I showed and heard this to my mother (85) a few years ago. She now regularly asks me to play it. She even once asked to be heard in church. They dance to the song "Blue Ain't Your Color" which is great, but what they said cost them a lot of effort. And in the video "9to5" they have a real dance group behind them, although this is more for fun (their live performance of "9to5" is absolutely amazing by the way). It may be that they are not so famous because they don't do too much show etc, but that is exactly what attracts me to them. Their great (all different) voices, the so beautiful personalities, no egos, no rivalry, the brotherhood, simplicity etc that makes Home Free the number one for me. They have helped me through very difficult times with all of this. With them it is not only hearing, but also feeling. And that is really beautiful. ❤❤❤❤❤ On September 27th I will see them live in Utrecht Netherlands, a big wish of mine will come true.
This song definitely makes me emotional--Home Free's version is my very favorite version of all the many, many I have heard 😍 Besides the unbelievable harmonies--and gorgeous backdrop of the Austrian Alps--getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
Same here... I was 14 when Elvis came on the scene and he's been my top singer of all time until these guys popped up on my phone...now I can't get enough of their warmth and positivity. I'm with you, I believe they should be played on radio and everywhere. I've been telling everyone I know about them and many agree with me. They're on their world tour and in the Swiss Alps to record this. The tour was cut short due to covid and they had to scramble to get flights home. It's incredible isn't it... If you want to see them do dance moves like the Temptations, check out their cover of Keith Urban's Blue Ain't Your Color. It was the one video they had the most choreography (til then, of course). Another that is very emotional is Go Rest High on the Mountain.
The Austrian Alps. They were on tour when Covid nearly stranded them overseas. They had to get out the best and fastest way they could. They don't dance because they pretty much CAN'T dance. They did do a Temptations type routine to a song called "Blue Ain't Your Color". It took a LOT of work for the girl that was trying to teach them 🤣. It's a shame we almost never get to hear Adam Rupp singing because he's the beatboxer. He has a beautiful voice.
Great reaction! I would strongly suggest using earphones for future reactions. There are some of Tim's low notes that you won't be able to hear without them.
I truly consider Home Free to be one of the greatest groups of the modern musical era.
The harmonies lift you to the Heavenlies. You should see their video for "Blue Ain't Your Color" actual choreography! ☺
It's funny you mention the Temptations...😂 Please do Blue Ain't Your Color!
Yes, if you want to see them "bust a move" Temp style, that is the song!! This is the video that officially made me a Home Fry!! Love your reaction!!
I would suggest doing the music video followed by the live concert version where you can see them all doing all of the choreography for this one.
Did you notice the beatboxer singing in this❤
You are so right, "Blue Ain't Your Color" for sure!

Great reaction. We Home Fries understand the need to rewatch/rewind/repeat - sometimes it’s just so good we need to hear all the layering, harmonies and dynamics again.

Put it on repeat brother. Beautiful.
I personally think I haven’t listened to a HF song until I put on my headphones. 😊
DREW, IF YOU WANT TO SEE THEM 2 STEPPING, YOU SHOULD REACT TO; BLUE AIN'T YOUR COLOR.......
To their harmonies are unmatched.❤
These men really bring heart happiness during these dark times. Can they dance - oh Yeah - Blue ain't your color :)
This was filmed in the Austrian Alps. Folsom Prison Blues should be on our list. :)
Beautiful! love it. Play that repeat button!!!!!
I already know you are gonna love this!! ...... It's perfection. Much love and God bless!
This is one of the few songs where Adam Rupp sings with them and maybe the only one where he actually sings part of the lead.
Adam does have a good voice, but they wouldn't be who they are if he wasn't beat boxing for them too.
@@dannyo6699 , I agree, but I also enjoy the times he does add that 5th harmony part. It’s always a treat.
@@kristindunstan172 Absolutely. Agreed with you 100%.
You really should be wearing headphones to get the best quality of sound for this video
Agree completely - you miss so much when you aren't at least wearing earbuds.
Agree 100%. I didn't realize how much of Tim's bass I was missing!
Definitely one of their bests!!
Headphones, Headphones, Headphones my friend! Home Free makes headphones sound better!
Great reaction, Home Fry!
Best rendition of this Old Hymn. Right in the Middle of God's Beautiful Creation ❤
So Beautiful ❤
Thanks for the great reactions.
that's Austria. it's the ultimate setting for such amazing voices.

I purely enjoy seeing these boys give you the stank face. I agree that you just can't use enough superlatives to describe their music. BTW, this vid and the last Home Free reaction earned you a new sub.
This version of "How Great Thou Art" is absolutely brilliant!!
You're right! They should be one of the biggest groups around! Straight up!
They are in the Swiss Alps. Check out their cover of Keith Urban's song, Blue Ain’t Your Color. You MAY get one of your wishes.
Austrian Alps, there is a difference.
Blue Ain't Your Color. See their temptation like choreography!
They are awesome live! I saw them in Atlanta last year. So much fun! You will have a blast!
❤❤❤❤❤
On September 27th I will see them live in Utrecht Netherlands, a big wish of mine will come true.
This song definitely makes me emotional--Home Free's version is my very favorite version of all the many, many I have heard 😍
Besides the unbelievable harmonies--and gorgeous backdrop of the Austrian Alps--getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
Five angelic voices, singing to GOD about GOD. What a gift to be allowed to listen in.
Loved the home fry intro. Welcome aboard!. Drove 2 hours to the Boston area to see them. Such a great show! Thanks for sharing your journey!
Gospel Rob kills me on this one!
Austrian Alps and yes, a drone was used. There is a From the Vault behind the scenes video on TH-cam.
Lets not forgett to mention what a beautiful voice Adam Rupp has, its not often we get to hear it, mores the pity, all the guys are so special. ❤
Get a good set of headphones to catch it all
My favorite version of this hymn. Stunning 5-part harmony, especially that last note.
Who needs dancing when these guys sing like angels?
