For people who aren’t comfortable with calorie tracking, something that really worked for me personally was looking at each of my meals and saying okay I have a source of protein, fats, and carbs in every meal +micronutrients. If one meal was lacking in one of those I just remembered throughout the day to make sure I got that in at some point. Hope this helps!!
yes to starting with walking! i walked everyday for a couple months before i started adding in more intense workouts when i wanted to get back into fitness. it solidified the habit and getting time outside everyday made me feel so good

I struggle with being OCD about my workouts and what days I do them, especially if its a 7 day program on beach body. I always have to start on a Monday and if I miss a day because life I have to start over the week!! But working out and fueling your body with healthy foods truly make you feel 100% better and healthier.
I havent recently started with a PT and he has helped my mental health so much. I would definitely recommend adding reflection and grattitude into your daily routine. Whenever I feel like giving up I think of 3 things I am grateful for and it just helps life me out of a bad mental state

Just wanted to make a little note: Sushi can actually a fairly balanced and health meal depending on the way it is prepared. There is some small controversy regarding how healthy it is, but overall I wouldn’t label it as “junk”. If it is paired with soy sauce, it may add a little more sodium to your diet than desired but other than that... enjoy your sushi girl!

Last year I hardly ever MOVED (like ~2000 steps or way less a day) and I started slowly this year and now I always make a point to move my body somehow, even if it’s not intense enough to close my Move ring! (Though I still like to close it 5 days a week 😂)
I’ve been loving my Bellabeat app, it has really helped me step up my fitness game. I’ve been using it for cca. 3 months now, and I love the personalized workout and meal plans I get. They are based on my goals and my data (I have their Ivy wellness tracker as well) and they are even adjusted to where I am at in my menstrual cycle, which has been great because my energy levels fluctuate drastically throughout the month, and this app has helped keep me on track with my workouts.
I loved this video 😊 I agree with all of those tips and tricks! Especially not restricting yourself and allowing yourself to have treats which I think has helped me soooo much. I used to restrict myself so much and then I'd binge eat every single piece of junk food in the house until my belly hurt 😂 when you start allowing yourself to have these treats such as sugary foods which our body actually needs for energy we find ourselves craving them a lot less. Back when I would restrict I would crave takeaway allll the time, now I allow myself to eat whatever my body wants and I find myself craving a takeaway about once or twice a month! It really is all about balance :)
I wish i could wake up early but my 1 year old will also wake up which ruins his sleep routine :/ as for making the bed i never make it. I actually take my blankets and sheets off to air out any bodily smells etc.
