Lot of snags,at Sea Wolf, learned wade fishing there back in the day for Flounder after Hurricane Ike, so much debris,it brought after,
I used to love going to Quarantine Island with my dad. Back then there were still all the old buildings and huts on the island. It was great to go exploring when I got bored.
I doubt that there are many people that remember what that island was used for before the new name and reason people go there now.

@@markkar4663 nothing bad. Just also reminiscing about the old days. Not many people know he history of the island. A number of my family can into the United States through Galveston from Germany and I don’t know if any were quarantined on the island or not.

The one time I fished Sea Wolf, I only caught sandies. Nothing else would bite, so after 30 or so, I called it quits 😂

You call those sand trout over in texas we call them white trout wherein at . There a speck without the spots I don't know how big you've caught them but I catch them 23 inches long
And you think they were a speck when you were reeling them in

I’m not sure.
Yes you gotta hit Galveston island. I suggest a truck or just be cautious with the terrain. Some access you can and will get stuck if traffic was heavy the day of.
