I know you love it. I have the 2021 252se. I got mine from Anderson marine as well. Fantastic people at Anderson’s. I am very pleased with the boat and the motors are tried and true. We are down at Tim’s Ford.
Just took delivery of our 2022 Yamaha 275SD. A few scratches and a couple of concerns that dealer either took care of, or will address during 10 hour service. Some we just have to accept to live with. Our boat cost us $177k. out the door. I also brought a Ram 3500 a year early that cost me $97k out the door with similar factory issues, but none had more factory defects than my wife's 2021 Mercedes GLS 580. ($137k.) Made in Alabama, they forgot to even plug in some electronic components. It appears that no matter how much you spend today, nothing is done to 100%. I guess we just have to learn to settle for 99.
I’m looking at the 255 XD vs a Mastercraft wake boat. I know the wave is “better” in the true wake boat but what does that mean? Cleaner? Bigger? Is the surf wave good enough to be awesome for teenagers?
Would love to see surf wave with and without extra fat sac big transom bag. Wanna see if you can go ropeless with bag. Thanks and congrats on an amazing boat! We have a 2018 242XE black and red boat and love it. Hoping to go ropeless ordered a transom bag. I’m 6’4 210. Watched the whole video liked snd subscribed. Thanks for taking the time to make it.
Can you please do a video to show the wave height for wake boarding? Im looking at purchasing this same boat, not for any wake surfing , my kids enjoy kneeboarding , and wakeboarding.
I just purchase a new Yamaha boat do tower speaker only turn on when boat is on and moving or they suppose to be on constant even with engine off with the other speaker are on?
@@itsmikecaudill the zone is at 100 still no sound both amps are on to so you might be right sounds like amp issue gonna contact my dealer , thanks for the reply
hey buddy we love surfing but have shallow water for 2-300 feet off our pier until deep water, our experience is solely on friends traditional surf boats but we just can’t have one, when the water level gets low like this year, suburban Chicago is in a bit of a drought and our lake is down at least a foot, hence the jet, currently we have an 08 sx230 and have been long over due for an upgrade but really curious about the surf-ability of the new Yamaha. Not shure if I can get an opportunity to test one with a dealer so any info for a fellow 6’3” 200lb-er would be greatly appreciated

Have you noticed much engine noise differences between the 242 and the 255 when cruising?
