I just recently bought Tarte Creaseless Concealer, it IS truly creaseless. There is no need to put powder or anything with it to add into the lines and look cakey. I have finally found the one!😀❤
My favourite is Tarte shape tape. I love it for its brightness, full coverage and longevity. I live an active lifestyle and need my concealer/makeup to hold strong for at least 16 hours. Tarte shape tape when set with Laura mercier powder does the job and even magically camouflages my tear trough hollows making me look refreshed even when I'm totally shattered! I do wear bobbi brown corrector underneath and am very pleased with the result. I do occassionally use the Nars creamy concealer, however it does not do anything to correct my dark hollows and even accentuates the undereye eyebags because of its creamy formula. It looks good in the morning but disappears on my skin by evening and I have to use a lot of product to hide my darkness.
Hello Nina, I have already worn the Nars and Too Faced concealer which I really liked, good coverage and hold. Currently I'm using the Lancome le complexion idole ultra wear concealer which suits me well. Thanks for this tutorial❤❤❤
I have the same issue my under eyes is super dry so I try to mousturize very well and use very little concealer and I don’t even use powder otherwise it just looks dry and cakey. Some days it works but sometimes it doesn’t but you can’t really see it from a normal distance I can only see it in my magnifying mirror
If you can get Natasha denona then great! Because their color correcting is so good you don’t need concealer for it. Also Huda beauty is very great as well! Concealers crease a little but don’t worry this one barely does😊
I did NOT like KVD. That's for sure. But...the Laura Mercier actually DID look really brightening and really good on you. I will try it. Also Tarte Tape is really good. Not a fan of Charlotte Tillsbury. Will try NARS. Haven't tried it yet. Not a fan of Maybelline. I also use THE BODY SHOP concealer. Holds up well.
Thank you for the comparisons. Working on my and WOW! So much better when taking my time using your techniques ( correctly that is ). I tried tarts shape tape again and oh my gosh it’s a true game changer. Love Doll10 face tinted primer to help cover rosacea post laser treatments. Not sure I’ll need it after healed. Enough chat, thank you so so so much❤
Thanx for this video, very much needed. I have used Tarte after watching ur videos and I like it but I’m starting to feel it’s not the best for mature skin, 47 yrs. Also used CT and I have the same opinion, not enough coverage, however liked the texture of it. Make up by Mario would be next to try and I’ve liked it the most on you, btw, I have a similar skin tone as u so you are my benchmark when I buy online without trying, so far it worked and all purchases were successful. I’ve learnt so much from ur tutorial ❤❤❤❤ I have to say, plaster was the first thing I’ve noticed and thought what type of rice was that??? 🤔 😁
I guess I just have to try different ones I am an Avon rep and the o es we have are just not light enough too dark on me 😢 I’ve used maybeline rewind now using maybeline concealer corrector in 01 Shade for sometime Looks good by end of day However I feel like the hollowness is showing thru lately 😢
Thanks for this amazing video Nina❤ I always suffer with under eye dryness and fine lines, I try the tart shape tape concealer its so good, also dior concealer, dior is drying my under eyes more , i am definitely gonna try doll concealer if its available here in Dubai . You are awesome 👏🏻 😊
Love Nars, will try Hourglass, but I find the Two Faced Born this Way, a bit cakey. My daughter finds the same with the Foundation. I thought it was just my more " mature " skin, ie wrinkles 😂. My current Favourite is the Clinique one. I've seen other MUA use it, and it's fabulous.
loved your video, if you don't mind me asking, does your undereyes turn gray'ish with some of these concealers? and if so do u have any tips, thank youuu
This was a great vid. I have to say that Tarte and the Maybelline have been the best for me. I have tried KVD concealer I actually have it now. It’s not bad at all but I have really seen one that has beat Tarte yet
Thank you for this video, it’s really helpful even though I can’t apply the amount of concealer you’re using. It’s too much for me. I just apply very little mainly in my inner corner where I have dark circles and avoid powder as much as possible otherwise it looks cakey. But I’m going to try the Make up by Mario. My favorite is Natasha Denona
Love this video!! Been waiting for this. Like the side by side comparison. Shocked about the Charlotte Tilbury one. Have you ever tried the Natasha Denona Hy-Glam concealer? I just recently got it after long time of trying to find my shade. Would like to know your feedback on this concealer. Sending hugs to you, Nina.
Thanks Nina really useful. Have invested in tarte shape - creamy concealer- which I find is a bit heavy and can create a mask effect under eyes so i use very sparingly or pick it up with sponge on back of hand and apply that way rather than directly as you have previously shown. xxx
I like the tarte shape tape and nars. I actually use the Maybelline and I have trouble covering my dark circles due to not enough shades. So I believe I will be making a new purchase for concealer
Trying out new concealers can be fun! Good luck finding the perfect match for your skin - never an easy task but once you got it, makes life so much easier!
I suffer from seasonal allergies and asthma. For some reason, this has made my congenital dark circles even darker over time and has worsened as I get older. No matter how good the concealer, I still need a color corrector underneath. 🤷🏽♀️
Thank you for this video! Lancôme discontinued my beloved Effacernes that I have been using for over 15 years and I am devastated over trying to find something similar. The two I’ve tried since can’t compare but I just ordered the hourglass and hoping for better results! 🤞 Your skin is absolutely gorgeous, BTW!
thanks for the excellent reviews! A friend told me about the Tower28 concealer. I've tried it and LOVE IT as it's very lightweight, fluid and sets well. Have you ever tried it? Thoughts?
Ive not tried any of these, from NARS just the soft matte in macadamia, but not the liquid one. My current faves are the Natasha Denona, Dior Forever, Pat mcGrath and ABH magic concealer for high coverage, but am always looking for something new to new. I am liking the sound of the Hourglass one the most.
Nina, can you do a video on concealer for under eye for matured skin. You didn't mention which one of those you tried on this video is good for matured skin and to hide lines/wrinkles
Oh Nina your eyes progressively got more sore with each round! Hats off for putting yourself through that The top 3 I use... 1. Tarte shape creamy one 2. Nars 3. Too Faced I don't use the Hourglass one too often. But it's great for other areas on face.
My holy grail always changes when I find something new, you think you've found your perfect combination of products and then something new comes along!! Story of my life!
Have you tried the Natasha denona one? I was extremely surprised!! The corrector is sooo good!!! I don’t even need the concealer by the way🤣 it hides all the dark circles but if your not into the brightening effect of it then it’s not for you
@@Rebecca-y6l then do get it hopefully it works for you! There was a huge hype about it but the funny part is I didn’t even know the hype🤣 I got it and found out later that there was a hype about it and I agree
Huda has amazing color correctors. Usually the gray cast means your concealer is too light. I used to have the same problem because alot of TH-camrs say you should go 2 shades lighter than your skin tone. Your concealer should actually match your skin tone. You can set it with a pink powder to brighten a bit.
I always use a corrector and have a few.i repurchased the tarte creamy and didn't like it the second time around, and I returned. I tested the MBM and Haus. Ended up with the latter. I don't have to use powder with this one, and it separates the least. I get samples in store or put two different ones in the store and leave them on to see which ends up looking better. That's how i have been able to test many and others i purchase. The HUda one as much as it is loved, it settles in really fast and obvious. My main issue is the separation of concealers created by the lines. I lean towards vegan or cruelty free ones as well. I have the iris and romeo in my cart for the sale. Unfortunately, I have not tested the ND since I can't find it in the store, and there are mixed reviews. Jist one, I have not jumped to try.
yes I use orange colour corrector ( very lightly) under the eyes and a bit on eyelids before concealer. Nina recommended lightly dusting powder over the colour corrector first before applying concealer to stop the colour corrector moving around in one of her prev videos. Hi which concealer out of all 3 did u like the most
The Tarte gets ‘cakey’ on my under eyes. Will need to try the Hourglass - looks great 🥰
Thank you for sharing your experience! Trying different products is always a good idea to find what works best for you.
I hate the smell its too fragranced
I like the nars and the tarte shape (the creamy one). They are both great for more mature skin.
That's awesome! I'm glad you found products that work well for your skin.
I have very crepey under eye skin and have MAJOR issues with concealers and powder to set. Always seems to make it look worse.😢
Try Tarte Creaseless Concealer you'll love it!

Nina such a helpful video 😍❤ How do you fix a concealer that's a bit too light?
Use a little (warmer) light coverage foundation with a sponge on top.. it’s light coverage so won’t cake it up 🫶🏽

I never know what color corrector shade to choose and have a drawer full. My skin is pale, neutral, Teint Idole 120n.
It would depend on how dark your circles are. Mine aren't overly dark so the peach didn't work for me. I use Huda in Cherry blossom.
