Hi Nessa. When you select with the mouse cursor on Desktop above the taskbar, does the blue rectangle go down all the way behind the taskbar, or it stops like 5 mm above the taskbar while the mouse cursor goes down to the edge of the screen? Because on my Spectre it does this weird thing, remains a gap between the blue selected rectangle and taskbar.

Not sure. I will check it out and let you know.

@@trei2unu Alex, the cursor does the same thing on mine. There is a small gap between the rectangle and the taskbar. May I ask why would need to go any lower?

@@Ness7386 Thank your for confirming! I was worried there's something wrong with my laptop. I don't think this glitch would affect everyday use really, it's just something that shouldn't happen I guess. I have 4 other Windows machines, both desktop and laptop running W10 and 11 and none of them does this. Maybe it's because this HP is a 2 in 1, I don't know. But I know for sure it didn't do this the first day or two, so I'm thinking it's maybe a driver that updated and messes some things up.

Thanks for this - great job - I'm looking at same configuration of Spectre - will be curious what you think of the 3K IPS screen - (so many OLED screens now but I rather have better battery life) and also curious about 5mp camera - better resolution for on the go Zoom calls than almost all other laptops I looked at

On HP's website it looks like all IPS versions come with the i7-13700H CPU while the OLED versions come with the i7-1360P CPU. H-series Intel chips are enthusiast level chips designed for ultra-performance. They don't really belong in thin and light laptops. These are designed for gaming laptops with beefier cooling solutions.
I haven't seen any comparisons with these two laptops side by side, but I would wager that the 1360P (P-series) chip runs cooler and quieter while only sacrificing a little bit of performance. Not a huge difference but something to think about

It's a very nice laptop. Solid and well built. Great screen. Pen works well. Speakers are decent. Battery life is just ok. But it very beefy and heavy and there is no number pad 😞 I didn't keep the HP. I returned it and decided to keep my Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 because of how thin and lightweight it is, the quality of the screen is great as compared to 3K of the HP and it has a Num Pad!!! If those things are not an issue for you, the HP Spectre is a beautiful laptop and I hope you enjoy it.
