The first 4 seasons took place in less than 7 months - 200 days to be exact. So take that timeframe spent with Bellamy and everyone else and compare it with the 6 years Clarke spent with Maddie raising her 24/7.
@@norunkai9546 not really though, if you think about it. Clarke was the daughter of doctors/scientists, Abby's on the council, they're in the high class. Bellamy was definitely lower class and iirc it's even implied his mother had to use sexual favors to get his guard position, which was a step up. They were in very different circles on the Ark, and Bellamy is a few years older too. Not to mention the different sections of the ship - Alpha, Mecha, Farm, etc. They might have known OF each other from school and things but you can even tell in season 1 that they weren't friends before the show started.
Lazy writing, I mean, Clarke spent more years with Wells, from children and until they descended with the 100, meaning, 17 years, and we all know that those kinds of friendships/relationships are the ones that last and mark and yet, after that he dies, she doesn't mention it again at practically no time (except to make her mother feel bad when she finds out that she was the one who caused the death of her father and not him).
I think that's the point of this show. Humans are complicated and flawed and there's a lot of learning to do in order to create a peaceful and functioning society.
@Danne1312 lol what show are you watching? the teen drama was in the earlier seasons. Also, y'all must have some weak imaginations because it's just funny for y'all to assume you would handle things much better if put in similar situations.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 If we accept that as the truth, it will never change. It's the way it's always been, so we don't know we can/can't be different
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 YA, obviously history shows us that humans are inherently terrible but that's why I am watching this show. To get away from the real world and see what the 100 is trying to do with their story. What is it trying to teach us? I doubt the point is to just go trolling everywhere for the rest of my life about how humans can't get along.
I think the reasoning behind Clark's action are consistant with the character we see in season 5. She cares about the war and her friends, but after 6 years, Maddie is above all. She told Bellamy to protect her ''daughter'', and he just betrayed her ''dying'' wish. So she is just concentrating on removing Maddie from any harm possible, even a flame fanatic.
After all, these guys are Normies, they don't understand the dynamics of the show, even if Clarke already said it this season: there are no good or bad guys, they're all in between. I can see a lot of things just flying over their heads, they're not as insightful as they want to be. That's okay tho
I completely agree. i often see people hating on clarke because she left Bellamy behind but he betrayed her and put Maddie in danger. And she is the person Clarke loves the most because she is basicaly her mother. They spend six years together not having anyone else.
yeah, Like I get some of their critique I just wish they took time to think about some things before bashing it...like your first train of thought should be questioning why a character does what they do...they ask why but instead of thinking thoroughly about it they just get annoyed by it and condemn it
@@AnubisVoid yeah I didn't really watch this season but I still know what happens with everything but I get why she did what she did and my mom watches the show also and she agrees that's what you do you care for the child more than anyone

Clark used to really frustrate me in this episode too but then I realized you have to look at it from a Mom protecting her child point of view. Clark is willing to do anything to protect Maddie, because a real mom would do the exact same thing 🤷🏾♀️
Exactly. It's all about point of view. Clarke is Madi's mother figure. A mother who does NOT want her daughter to take the flame & become Head because it's dangerous. Not to mention Octavia would not give her commander without a fight. Octavia would kill Madi. Clarke even says that a few episodes ago.
can I just say that I found ya all during the corona virus isolation, and I love ya all, you are my children, my family, and I'll nuke the world to protect you, cause family take care of each other 😂😂😂😂, you see how insane that sounds?? yeah, that's Clarke, she's crazy
@@hypello9534 he told the truth?? If Bellamy told Madi that he poisoned Octavia Madi would never agree to ot, he told her half true and manipule her to took the flame by saying it is to save Clarke
They cant take time to sit there and think abt decisions when the flame is literally being put in Madi. Clarke wanted to get there to stop it in time. Taking time would've taken ages.
Look at it from Clarke's point of view. She almost took her own life because the time alone after Praimfaya was unbearable. Then she found the valley and Madi. Madi gave her a life line and for 6 years kept Clarke's head above water and a reason to live. If anything happens to Madi, the line snaps and Clarke drowns. Madi is the only thing that matters to Clarke. Bellamy and kru come down from space and as soon as they reunite in polis they start making big decisions without her. They left her out. She feels as isolated as she did when they were gone. Madi has been the only consistent thing in her life since season 1. Damn right she would betray bellamy and friends to protect her. Let's not forget the reason she betrayed him - because he betrayed her. He made a child the commander, HER CHILD after she begged him not to. Bellamy was in the wrong and Clarke was just protecting her daughter. That's my opinion.
Let’s see, not even brushing over it, Bellamy just kidnapped and manipulated a 12 year old child into taking the flame. With out proper consent either. After Clarke _specifically_ told him not to knowing it’d make her daughter a target not to mention the things the flame does to people. Madi's not even prepped for anything either! Most nightbloods are trained so they know how to properly control the flame if it were to be put inside their heads. Madi had none of that. I wonder why she did what she did when she was forced to choose between her own _child_ and a friend (sarcasm). The man just betrayed her in one of the worst ways. If that was me I wouldn’t have had a second thought about his ass.
You say that as if Madi is a normal 12 year old. I don’t agree that he manipulated her...he gave her a choice and she chose. Whether he should have done it behind Clarke’s back is another conversation.
Bellamy told Madi the truth and let her to choose, and Madi Heda is the best way for everyone, and for her, cause she would have everyone on her side, and that means safe, I mean, Octavia and Miller would be entire opposition 😂
and Madi loves Clarke but Madi kept her sanity during isolation, while Clarke lost it, she is smothering "mother" and if she found plastic doll back then, instead of Madi, that doll would be her daughter now too, she needs therapy, she's not well.
elvis ibrahimović, are you serious? Smother? They are literally in the middle of a war for the last survivable land on earth, and Madi taking the flame only expands the ways in which she can die. What the hell do you expect from a parent? To let a 12 year old make every decision for herself about this life and death situation?
Vialle1014 she’s still a _12 year old child_ with limited knowledge of the world of people to which she was then faced with the question of basically “You have to do this in the next 5 minutes or don’t & your adopted mother who’s the only person you’ve known & loved loved for the past 6 years will die because of your choice.” That’s manipulation dude. Not to mention the definition of not being able to give proper informed consent.
That was one of the most upsetting part's of this episode. He's lucky he only got a slap instead of Clarke kicking his ass!! And like Clarke said he promised to protect Maddie!! And as many issues as I have with Octavia's actions. Honestly I believe Bellamy poisioned Octavia simply to save Clark's life. Yes everyone can say it's simply about having peace and getting to the valley. However for Bellamy Clark is still one of the people he wouldn't allow to get killed. So he had to choose between Clarke and Octavia knowing how Octavia has become. At the same time they all forced Octavia's had for her to have to put the people she loves the most in the arena!! Her crying about that show's that the Octavia that we've grown to know and love is still in there. She has to play her role. She doesn't know who she is anymore without it.
The Flame and ALIE are two entirely different things. The Flame is the revision of ALIE, it doesn't have anything to do with the City of Light. Oh the episode that sent the entire fandom into a frenzy. This was one rough back when it aired. I'll just say this, it's important to remember everyone's goals in all of this. 6 years on, Clarke's only concern is Madi's safety. Add in that Bellamy promised to not put her in danger and then went back on that promise the second Clarke was in any kind of danger, and you can see why Clarke did what she did. It isn't her flip-flopping, it's Clarke doing what she needs to do to accomplish her goal, keeping Madi alive. This is also why she killed the guy from Sangedakru that Madi had won over, because one ally is not going to help keep her safe, and staying to try and rally an opposing would put Madi in even more danger. That does not mean that she won't make mistakes, but it does give her actions a very clear motivation. For Bellamy, his actions are also motivated by what he is trying to do. What he did was absolutely scummy, Pat's right, he manipulated Madi to do what he wanted instead of thinking about what is best for her (ie what Clarke asked him to do). He essentially forced her to take the chip when he invoked the Clarke card to try and save his own ass as well get Clarke out, so Clarke is entirely justified in leaving him to die. As she said, he made his choice. As for Octavia, she is in a very difficult situation. She has committed to getting to the valley, but she has also ruled through fear to do it. This means that she cannot show any sign of weakness because her hold on the bunker is so tenuous that a single sliver of weakness would be enough for it all come crashing down. She's scared, and it's this trap that she is in that makes her send Bellamy, Indra, and Gaia to the pits. She does not want to do that, but the society she has created and the character she is playing mandate that she must stay firm here. Not to mention the immense psychological toll that the whole ordeal placed on her. Indra was right to take blame for what O has become, she ran from the difficult things they needed to do to survive and forced Octavia to handle it all herself. This whole season is ultimately a testament to how much our ideas of who people are can color our approaches to how we should handle our interactions with them. Clarke and Madi idolized Clarke's friends. Bellamy idolized Clarke and saw Octavia as his little sister. Octavia grew up and expected her brother to treat her like an adult. It's all about how our expectations lead us down the wrong path and create conflict, and it's very very real. Chris has the right of it, in this season, everyone is both the hero and the villain. Anyway guys great reaction and I cannot wait for next week. How many double drops are we getting now that the new season has a confirmed release date of May 20th? You said you wanted to catch up right?
That's the problem with commiting to grey area characters, there's either no good guys or there are, the show can't have it both ways and personally I think they chose the right path. Clarke is obviously justified in what she was doing cause she's a mom, but Belldog was 100% justified. He literally had no other options, I'm sure if he could he would gladly sacrifice himself to stop O, but Madi was the only option, and he also didn't manipulate Madi, telling her the honest truth isn't manipulation when the stakes are this high. Octavia on the other hand is irredeemable, if she was so burdened by the dark year why didn't she relinquish power at the earliest chance the roof opened. Why did she have to throw her loved ones to die for power, if you think either Clark or Bellamy would choose a title over anyone they love then that's just false. She liked the power and that was her downfall
It's like playing Crusader Kings II or any Paradox game, when I see this level of political shenanigans, with everyone pursuing their own agendas and backstabbing each other. I agree about Bellamy, but I'm not sure you gave him a fair shake compared to everyone else. His actions were utilitarian, he was willing to do bad things for the greater good of preventing a war. Not that I'm taking his side or anything, but that's how I see Bellamy here. Even with the civil war, things are simpler over at the other camp. Then again, there are people were fighting against both factions, and even in that little group they stabbed each other, or at least Shaw, in the back once or twice.
Yes, I'm so glad you explained this to them. This group is so quick to hating a character or calling them stupid for their actions. Instead, they need to step back and look at things from each characters' perspective. Each characters' have their own goals and motivations (as you said) and their actions are based off of that. Not to mention this show really stresses that things are never black and white.
About Clarke... in this season everybody were constantly reminding her that she's not part of there group/kru... she's not wonkru and she's not spacekru... Bellamy says a couple of times that the others were his family, let her apart.... so is obvious that she put her own daughter after everyone... all of them wanted take advantage of Maddie, manipulating her to do what they want without think on her safety
Octavia couldn’t show favoritism for Bellamy and Indra, they betrayed her, they go to the arena, it’s that simple. She couldn’t afford to look weak, it’s totally understandable lmao
@@vcIentina When Pike killed Lincoln he had to show an 'example'. Pike did so because Lincoln 'betrayed' Pike. This is just my opinion btw. I think Pike and Bloodreina are equally as bad.

I love how conflicted you guys are with your allegiance during this season and even the series as whole, but especially this season is so divisive. Like what Chris said, everyone is right and wrong and if you like someone you'll disagree with them in 2 weeks. Monty really is the only safe bet in the entirety of the series and we love him. but a lot of fans gloss over the complications each character is going through and cant see both sides but this season just highlights how everyone has their own individual priorities which is going to cause everyone to clash
I love how Chris is so proactive with the theme intro as Suraj is off. Edit:😭😭😭 “He gonna put that trust in her”. I CHOKED. Murphy is the trickster god of the 100 universe. AGITATOR!!! Agent of chaos! DIYOZA 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼‼️ Also, things in that universe happen so quickly in a short space of time. So it’s hard to make such huge decisions with a clear head. Even with time, humans are still known to come to similar conclusions. Look at the state of the world today 😅

Omg, that's my comment. Yeah. That's the problem, and I notice it happens more when they're in a big group like this (Westworld, La Casa de Papel, GoT). I watched the reactions to ATLA and they were just 4, the reactions were better because they used to discuss in more depth. In this show, I can see sometimes Rana starting to analize the idea, but then Brown Pat starts rambling, and the discussion never happens. I'm already used to it, as the majority of us, I assume.
Ya they talk so much during everything. I get that they are trying to react but it's just obvious that they miss things because they take this show less seriously than others so they just chatter sometimes like they are trying to be funny. But later they say something doesn't make sense. I always think well it would make sense if you actually pay attention! They are usually saying something like "I bet it's gonna be.... (insert ridiculous idea here that makes it clear they don't want to take the show seriously). And while they are saying this they are missing the small but brilliant detail that was put in to help make sense of everything.
I'm going to suggest something crazy: both Bellamy and Clarke have good reasons to do what they did in this episode. If the choice is probable human extinction, or putting one child at risk and then protecting that child with my life, I think the right choice is incredibly clear, I risk the child. But, if that child was my daughter, I don't think I'd be able to go through with it. I would protect my child over the rest of humanity. That's just how it is. Bellamy didn't manipulate Madi, he told her all the facts and told her the plan, and she chose. She even warned him of the personal consequences this choice would have. And after Clarke learned her child was in danger, she took every action, made every deal and burned every bridge to save her, as many parents would do. Obviously, Monty is the most in the right out of anybody. But I really need the Normies to stop suggesting that people should just take time to make the right decision. There is no time. Things happen quickly, and either you act or you die. Simple as that. There's no time for Clarke to think of a better plan, or for her to question whether she can trust Octavia. I was pretty pissed at Clarke after this episode, so I get it, but given time, it's become very clear why she made the choices she did
protecting? she almost got killed Madi by her "protection" and then Madi had to shoot people to save Clarke's ass, and here again, Madi saved them both from Clarke's "protection" 😂😂, Clarke is not well, if she found plastic doll back then, instead of Madi, that doll would be her daughter now too...
elvis ibrahimović No it wouldn’t Istg you be on every comment hating on Clarke. Clarke is trying to protect Madi I wouldn’t want Madi to take the flame if I was Clarke. Because that makes Madi a target, also Clarke didn’t raise Madi to lead people and take the flame
@@apersonwholikescats1979 protecting Madi??? by making Madi a hostage?? It's safer to be Heda than hostage, and don't confuse hate with: not able to appreciate DUMB people
The amount of time and patience and character development they put into making Octavia the bad guy/blood Reina is exactly the amount of time that the writers of Game of Thrones should’ve taken to make Daenerys a good villain. I’ve heard a lot of people call the show the mini Game of Thrones not for the budget or for the spectacle, or even the writing. Its the characters and how they are all flawed and how they develop throughout the seasons good or bad. “There are no good guys” very similar style to GOT Watching this season a lot of people loved to hate Octavia. She was ruthless, and a tyrant. And they gave us an entire season to see how destructive she is..but everything that happened to her, happened for a reason. Anyway, can’t wait for them to react to the dark year!!
eric banks Octavia wasn’t even “evil” here. She just did what she had to do under unfortunate circumstances 🤷🏾♀️. So ruthless? I guess so but it’s not like she wanted to be. If you wanna talk villains McCreary is a good example. You right about GOT tho lmaoo
SiaLater I mostly agree except that Octavia became the villain for me after what she did to the greenhouse. . . That was purely done for her own vanity
SiaLater I’d say evil when she burned the greenhouse.. that was kind of like the moment we knew she didn’t care about everyone else’s safety only her own selfishness you know?
IF they DARE TO QUESTION CLARKE'S ACTION AND NOT FUCKING BELLAMY FOR FORCING THE FLAME AND MAKING A FREAKING CHILD COMMANDER IM GONNA HATE ALL OF THEM, 5 SEASONS IN YALL SHOULD KNOW ALREADY WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU COME AFTER CLARKE'S PEOPLE *SPECIALLY HER OWN CHILD* .
I'm a little worried you're misunderstanding character motivation here. Clarke's only concern is Madi, aligning with anyone (like Blodreina) to keep her safe, and will sell out anyone (as seen to Niylah) as well. Clarke is so controlling of Madi, like in the scene with the rover, because she wants to keep her safe. The reason she killed Joroum was because he would know that they were still alive. The decision that Bellamy and Gaia made was not rash, they just didn't know that Octavia had woken up or that Clarke had escaped. It was either try a really risky plan, or let Wonkru go to war. That's what the whole show is about, deciding between two bad options. Bellamy thought that making Madi the Commander was the lesser evil. You have to put yourself into their shoes. I'm sure you will figure this out, just felt like I had to say it. Love ur reactions, keep it up!
This was not on Kane, this was on Murphy and his "team" cause if Kane is with Diyoza after 6yrs with Octavia, that gotta mean something the Flame is its own supercomputer, entire code stored inside of crystal matrix, completely self sustained and operative bio-cybernetic implant.
The best episode is about to happen. 5x10 we’re the explanation of why Octavia is the way she is now, happens and so sadly but beautifully pieced together! I’m so excited for y’all reaction to the next one!
In all honesty I understood where Bellamy was coming from I was on his team the whole season I get that the way he approached Madi and tried to get her to take the chip wasn’t the right way it was more to a forcing but at the end of the day she has to become commander or they’re fucked really so he wasn’t intentionally trying to hurt Clarke they’re in a tough situation she can’t deny Madi her purpose so Bellamy trying to get her to become commander wasn’t bad in my situation if she doesn’t then who rules bloody Octavia and she’s insane at this time even Madi was shocked that they left Bellamy and everyone else she knows she has to become the commander what Clarke did was idiotic and since y’all already watched the other episodes not a spoiler Madi even begs her later to let her go and be commander
In the later episodes youll see why ictavia was trying so hard to claim victory of the valley because jf they are victorious all the things they go through was worth it.
I can't understand why you guys don't get why Clarke made that decision especially considering the fact what Octavia would do to Monty's farm just to hold the power. It's obvious she believes Octavia would kill Madi and she most likely would have.
Jesus Christ, I love him to death but Bellamy was being a little shit. He directly went and made Clarke’s worst nightmare come true, which he knew how it would make her feel and how it would hurt her. And it’s*so*unbelievably frustrating to me that the writers keep trying to sell the fact that Bellamy would do anything for spacekru (betraying Clarke), but as a writer you can’t just keep shoving that bond between them down peoples throats and expect them to be ok with this when you have showed them nothing about the developing of those bonds over those six years. Yeah sure, you can tell us that they got close in space, but it’s kinda lazy to not show us. Idk this is just one thing about season five that really frustrates me along with the whole Bellamy/Echo forced relationship lmao don’t even get me started
Clarke might have been more fine with Madi becoming commander if Octavia was dead cause otherwise she's still a target. But no Bellamy refused to eliminate that threat to her safety and then put her in the dangerous position anyway 🙄
The writers tried so hard to frame this episode as if Clarke was somehow wrong for leaving Bellamy lmao. She’s not. She didn’t “leave him to die” he was going to end up in the pit no matter what bc he commited crimes in the bunker. Not to mention she could do literally _nothing_ about it anyways. What did the viewers want Clarke to do? Storm into the bunker & do what? Get herself and Maddie killed? Right after that one guard almost killed them before they left? Yeah Right like hell I'm gonna hold this choice against her. Clarke tried, and tried and tried, but at it was at this moment Clarke started prioritizing no one else's safety but Maddie's.
I actually really like that about this show - no one is right or wrong 100% of the time. They all make fucking dumb decisions for good reasons sometimes.
The doctor's name is Jackson! Team Monty, Murphy and spacekru! (Spacekru = the timejump Ark crew for any normies who don't know) This episode was super frustrating the first watch, and still kinda is, because there was a lot of "flip flopping". When you rewatch/break down everything that happens it all makes sense when you think about everyones individual motivations. I love the complexity of the storyline, but like Chris said, you can't really root for any of the mains right now which does make you disengage. The heart of the show gets lost when we don't really like what any of them are doing and when they've broken all their relationships by betraying eachother. They just ruined too many relationships and had too many people do too many sh*tty things all in the one episode. Personally I'm probably on Bellamy's side the most out of the mains because he was actually trying for a peaceful solution still, whereas Octavia and Clarke don't care about the big picture for other people. Yes he did manipulate Madi a bit but she probably still would have taken the flame if he only told her straight facts and Octavia wasn't already manipulating Madi before that. Clarke's choices still hurt to watch but I get where she is coming from, only looking after her daughter and betrayed by Bellamy. Octavia though is still prepared to get her people slaughtered/destroy the only currently fertile land on the planet. I understand that there were a lot of circumstances leading up to who she is in season 5 (which yay for an upcoming episode I'm not spoiling) but the fact is that there is a peaceful solution at this point, thank you Monty, and she still has given no thought to not engaging in an all out war. But honestly Clarke stuff still hits harder this episode because I basically expect her to make good choices for the group and not just Madi, and because she was pushing Bellamy to take out Octavia before. Anyway, would love if you caught up for season 7! Can't wait for you guys to see season 6 too.
Octavia wasnt crazy. She is the only one willing to accept the situation. Its kill or be killed and she knows what needs to be done. All her closest friends stabbed her in the back.
Will the reactions of season 7 rise simultaneously with that of season 6? Well, it opens in 30 days, and when the 5x13 reaction rises, it will be three days before the premiere of the final season premieres.
That's why this season was so frustrating for a lot of people. There is nobody to root for but really Monty and Harper. Yes it about time to see Octavia ultimate stupid decision. Throw everybody away on this show this season except Monty and Harper.
I understand not being a Bellaire fan but their relationship is an important part and running theme of the show why are y'all skipping all their scenes together
Like forget about if you care about their relationship or not. Their dynamic in this episode is a big part of the A plot, and they skipped the first two scenes completely. After this week and last week, I'm starting to think they're doing this on purpose
@@mlgnerd13 If you want their full reactions, go watch it on patreon. There's so much fucking stuff that's impossible to get everything into one supercut TH-cam video. And it's not even the Normies who make the edits, it's an editor who picks out their best reactions and most insightful comments. The amount of loops Bellarkers are ready to go through to find enemies of their OTP is quite troubling, especially when Suraj is a massive Bellarker
This is the first time I was really against Clarke and wanted her to lose. I can't stand those people who just put their own people above everything and everyone else. And this takes that to the extreme, just for one person, letting everyone else die. Also I wasn't "rooting" for anyone, I just wanted peace. For people to be rational and reasonable and think about the future of humanity instead of being selfish and egotistical.
I´m sad, you started to ignore all Bellamy and Clarke scenes :( I completely agree with you, this episode was tough and so frustrating. I remember when I watched it how I wanted to punch something. Clarke is acting so irrational at this moment. I completely get that feeling that it is hard to root for someone. Everyone is betraying everybody and changing sides every minute. Bellamy wanted to save everyone and Clarke just leave him to die like that without a blinking eye.
That neglects to mention all the non-destructive good Wanheda has done, like serving as a leader to the 100 and saving Spacekru while risking her own life. It also neglects to mention that for all Heda is a leader, Heda can also be violent and warlike, to say the least.
If you have to cooperate with other people, you should not betray them in the first place, but if someone does betray you, you should punish that betrayal, but then be willing to forgive. Though by forgive, I only mean be willing to continue to cooperate with them, it's up to you whether you forgive them in the sense of being good friends with them again. Well, Clarke has clearly punished Bellamy's betrayal, so step 1 of 2 is complete at any rate.
100% it doesn’t matter if someone forgives you or not have to do what you need in those times and Madi becoming commander was a must! it solves all of their problems
@@cp2342 It solves all of societies problems. For Madi, her problems were only beginning. That's not me speaking with the benefit of hindsight, that's the whole reason Clarke was against this.
Tyler Jackson when was I talking about that? Point out to me where? And sure putting a hit on Madi was wrong but she would never have had to if Bellamy didn’t manipulate a child into taking the flame without proper consent. Not to mention he broke several laws down there. He should’ve been thrown in the pit ages ago
I don't know about that, but in her head, Octavia is doing what's best for her people, she is convinced that she does, and she is ready to sacrifice her "sister" her "mother" 6yrs or more with them, and her brother for what she thinks it's greater good, that is strong, Clarke could never be that strong, cause Ckarke is always sacrificing the opposite way
FACTS! Bellamy, Indra and Gaia absolutely deserved to be thrown in the pit. You poison the leader of an army, and mount a coup, you're going to get punished. It's very simple. The fact that everyone thinks Bellamy should get a free pass like he always does is shocking.
This reaction would have been so much more enjoyable if the normies actually took the time to think about Clarke's position and understand how she spent 6 years as Madis mother, so now that's the most important thing to her, as she has said all season. The second that goal and the goal of avoiding the war by any costs collided of course she is going to go with her "daughter". But in typical fashion the discussion is filled with Clarke hate and comments about dumb decisions. It's just like in Black Sails it's like try and look past what we the audience want characters to do and think about the perspective of the characters
The first 4 seasons took place in less than 7 months - 200 days to be exact. So take that timeframe spent with Bellamy and everyone else and compare it with the 6 years Clarke spent with Maddie raising her 24/7.

@Danne1312 lol what show are you watching? the teen drama was in the earlier seasons. Also, y'all must have some weak imaginations because it's just funny for y'all to assume you would handle things much better if put in similar situations.
It never really gets better despite "learning"
People will always be hostile no matter how 'advanced' society becomes.
@@frankoceanstanaccount7126 Ya because they talk so much during everything. But later they say something doesn't make sense. I always think well it would make sense if you actually pay attention!
Clark used to really frustrate me in this episode too but then I realized you have to look at it from a Mom protecting her child point of view. Clark is willing to do anything to protect Maddie, because a real mom would do the exact same thing 🤷🏾♀️
CLABBYRKE

@@masoodjalal1152 I understand that, but Madi is no stupid, neither helpless, and it's better option not to smother Madi.
For once, Pat actually made (good) points when he said Bellamy manipulated Madi into taking the Flame. Not enough people consider that fact.
EXACTLY
EXACTLY!
He didnt manipulate. He told the truth. He did this for clarke, if he didnt do it octavia wouldve killd clarke.
@@hypello9534 he told the truth?? If Bellamy told Madi that he poisoned Octavia Madi would never agree to ot, he told her half true and manipule her to took the flame by saying it is to save Clarke
@_lolo7423 sure, he left out some details. But he honestly was trying to save Clarke from Octavia after Octavia wanted her executed.
CAN WE GET MORE OF THE 100 Not going to lie I only watch this seris....
Same
They cant take time to sit there and think abt decisions when the flame is literally being put in Madi. Clarke wanted to get there to stop it in time. Taking time would've taken ages.
Full respect goes to Chris for single-handedly carrying the 100 chorus during these dark times.
lol the dark year is in 2 more episode ]:P
Vialle1014 she’s still a _12 year old child_ with limited knowledge of the world of people to which she was then faced with the question of basically “You have to do this in the next 5 minutes or don’t & your adopted mother who’s the only person you’ve known & loved loved for the past 6 years will die because of your choice.”
That’s manipulation dude. Not to mention the definition of not being able to give proper informed consent.
THANK YOU PAT. BELLAMY MANIPULATED MADI!!
I THOUGHT I'D NEVER BE SINGING PRAISES OF PAT BUT GUYS, THIS ONCE LISTEN TO WHAT PAT HAS TO SAY IT'S REALLY FUCKING IMPORTANT
They played the game and lost this round, that's all. Going against Octavia and Clarke at the same time was a high risk move.
Bruh, you could've make the same argument for Pike, but he was still awful.
Mikel lol how does this argument apply to pike as well?

And while they are saying this they are missing the small but brilliant detail that was put in to help make sense of everything.
😂😂😂😂😂 im weak "Hes gonna put that trust in her" i love pat.
Every character makes bad decisions! Welcome to season 5 Normies XD
I was pretty pissed at Clarke after this episode, so I get it, but given time, it's become very clear why she made the choices she did
Literally Clark is a mother and they keep fucking with her child I may not agree with everything she’s doing but I can understand her thought process.

“There are no good guys” very similar style to GOT
Watching this season a lot of people loved to hate Octavia.
Vialle1014 100% agree
Octavia looks like she was born as Blodreina, and "mad queen" Daenerys was a joke, Dumb&Dumber don't know how to finsh a story
Say it louder 👏🏾👏🏾
You should see 'Vis a vis' (locked up), another AMAZING spanish tv serie
Thank you Chris. Thank you.
I bet Chris was in his high school glee club or choir. He's got a beautiful singing voice.
This was not on Kane, this was on Murphy and his "team" cause if Kane is with Diyoza after 6yrs with Octavia, that gotta mean something

For Murphy, problems can be resolved through a riot.
Here there are a lot of parents who they will send their 12 yo children to war. Otherwise they will understand Clarke’s reasons.
In the later episodes youll see why ictavia was trying so hard to claim victory of the valley because jf they are victorious all the things they go through was worth it.
I can't understand why you guys don't get why Clarke made that decision especially considering the fact what Octavia would do to Monty's farm just to hold the power. It's obvious she believes Octavia would kill Madi and she most likely would have.

cash wants none of that from you chris
yeah I think she hates me but really i'm not sure why
3:56 he breathing in a bottle full of water that's unsanitary like Jasper said
Clarke might have been more fine with Madi becoming commander if Octavia was dead cause otherwise she's still a target. But no Bellamy refused to eliminate that threat to her safety and then put her in the dangerous position anyway 🙄
I wanna watch sooo much their reaction for 6x10
Chris on the intro lol
Yea....y’all gotta watch Banshee 💯
i only ever root for octavia tbh :P
The doctor's name is Jackson! Team Monty, Murphy and spacekru! (Spacekru = the timejump Ark crew for any normies who don't know)
This episode was super frustrating the first watch, and still kinda is, because there was a lot of "flip flopping".

For people to be rational and reasonable and think about the future of humanity instead of being selfish and egotistical.
I agree, I'm with Luna, everyone sucks
I´m sad, you started to ignore all Bellamy and Clarke scenes :( I completely agree with you, this episode was tough and so frustrating. I remember when I watched it how I wanted to punch something. Clarke is acting so irrational at this moment. I completely get that feeling that it is hard to root for someone. Everyone is betraying everybody and changing sides every minute. Bellamy wanted to save everyone and Clarke just leave him to die like that without a blinking eye.
He put her child at risk. Fuck Bellamy
Screw Bellamy he endangered her child right after she told him not to lol. She doesn’t owe him shit
The show doesn’t evolve around blorke
Lashay Andrews hey go easy on them sis lol. Also hi again!
Team Bellamy 😝
comparison between Heda and Heda's power to create and make things right, with "wanheda" and wanheda's "power" to destroy and make things wrong.
That neglects to mention all the non-destructive good Wanheda has done, like serving as a leader to the 100 and saving Spacekru while risking her own life. It also neglects to mention that for all Heda is a leader, Heda can also be violent and warlike, to say the least.
@@sdagoth3037 Heda is never pointless and "wanheda" is Clarke's mess used by Queen Nia to create a weapon, and "wanheda" was born.
@@elvisibra Wanheda's action are never pointless either, even if you don't agree with her reasoning she's a rationalist.
@@sdagoth3037 sure, like Finn season 2
@@sdagoth3037 rational people do not choose personal over professional, Clarke is doing that from day one.
You forgot Jacksons name ]:P
Maddie: If I do this, she'll never forgive you.
Me: When it comes to survival, forgiveness is irreverent. All that matters is doing what's necessary.
Yeah and for clarke's that's getting the flame out of maddie and letting bellamy die so same shit
That's not me speaking with the benefit of hindsight, that's the whole reason Clarke was against this.
can you guys pls watch somewhere between on netflix. it’s really good & I think you guys would like it :)
I love Clarke but omfg she bothered me
so much at this point
Anyways Octavia’s justified with throwing Bellamy & Co. in the bunker. Some people think she isn’t which is..weird
SiaLater so Bellamy is the only piece of shit in this scenario ok lol didn’t Octavia put a hit out on Madi? People seem to forget that
Tyler Jackson when was I talking about that? Point out to me where? And sure putting a hit on Madi was wrong but she would never have had to if Bellamy didn’t manipulate a child into taking the flame without proper consent. Not to mention he broke several laws down there. He should’ve been thrown in the pit ages ago
okayalabama lol whatever you say. Do honestly think they blame Octavia for anything? They justify everything she does
I don't know about that, but in her head, Octavia is doing what's best for her people, she is convinced that she does, and she is ready to sacrifice her "sister" her "mother" 6yrs or more with them, and her brother for what she thinks it's greater good, that is strong, Clarke could never be that strong, cause Ckarke is always sacrificing the opposite way
FACTS! Bellamy, Indra and Gaia absolutely deserved to be thrown in the pit. You poison the leader of an army, and mount a coup, you're going to get punished. It's very simple. The fact that everyone thinks Bellamy should get a free pass like he always does is shocking.
I need to understand something how theres comment from a month but the video has been uploaded today
Octavia is Azula!
You guys should watch The Last Kingdom it’s really good season 4 just came on.
❤️❤️
lol---Clark was in this episode to all her fans....how you like me now?--bitches!?--lol
You started hiding all the Bellamy and Clarke scenes. It's also very important to the story line and y'all are ignoring it 😕😕😕😕😕
Just because it’s not in the reaction video doesn’t mean they ignored it. They watched the entire episode. They just cut things out for Fair Use time.
@@BigFatSammich it's not a coincidence from the last few eps all of them have been cut
When demon slayer is upload?
This reaction would have been so much more enjoyable if the normies actually took the time to think about Clarke's position and understand how she spent 6 years as Madis mother, so now that's the most important thing to her, as she has said all season. The second that goal and the goal of avoiding the war by any costs collided of course she is going to go with her "daughter". But in typical fashion the discussion is filled with Clarke hate and comments about dumb decisions. It's just like in Black Sails it's like try and look past what we the audience want characters to do and think about the perspective of the characters
Clarke is the worst in this season. She used to be my favorite. Where did my Wanheda go :(
CLARKE IS THE WORSTE PERIOD
Watch seraph of the end
Make a seven deadly sins reaction
Plsssss
Plz react to steins gate
Clarke is incredibly selfish
Watch Clone Wars. Please.
