KL is uncomparable and not with NY for sure..KL is unique, spiritual at the same time wild, safe and freindly..and cheap.

Yes. NYC has a lot of skyscrapers and they are very dense, one big building after another. KL skyscrapers are thinner compared to NYC and it is spread all across the city. I feel like KL skyline is more similar to Toronto. KL is also very spread out like Los Angeles. While NYC is more concentrated in the city center itself. Both have their own charms though. However it does have a New York vibes a bit. Especially Bukit Bintang has the Times Square vibe.

    Hi grace, just fun facts
    1. Kl is the 4th largest city in the world in terms of skyscrapper after china, usa and south korea.
    2. It is already called the new york of south east asia.
    3. We are planning at least 2 more towers at 700m or more. They are called tower M and tradewind tower. Reaching 800m. Petronas towers will soon be succeeded by cambodia's world trade centre in 2025 if according to plan. But as you know we already have the 2nd tallest in the world now called pnb 118 which can be seen even far away.

KL is much better ...the multiracial people are mostly still friendly and caring...cost of living may be higher than the rest of cities/towns in Malaysia but is still considered one of the cheapest in the world.

Grace Kim; now we just have had DEGO RIDE on e-hailing which offers Motorcycle Taxi which cost RM2.50 per 3km. It s just new ...everything is "Super Easy".....🇲🇾😁👌
Maybe you can't see it around because the demand is still low but it is now existing to offer the service.🇲🇾😁👌
_ANYBODY FROM ANYWHERE ARE MOST WELCOME TO MY BELOVED COUNTRY.🇲🇾😁👌.

I think the ride is still experimental. (I hope!) It's not exactly a good (additional) alternative transport mode. Riding pillion on small bikes is not the safest way to negotiate traffic in a cityscape like KLs. Suicidal actually.

comparing KL to NYC is really unfair to KL. No, it won't ever come close to NYC and it doesn't need to. It's still an amazing place to visit or live.
