ලංකාවේ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ක්‍රමය වෙනත් රටවල් හා සසදන විට හරිම අසාධාරණයි කියල මට හිතෙනවා. නොමිලේ උපධියක් දෙන ක්‍රමයක් නිසා ඉතා අතලොස්සකට තාම රජයේ විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයකින් උපාධියක් ගන්න ලැබෙන්නේ. මේ හේතුව නිසා විශ්ව විද්‍යාල ප්‍රවේශයට තියෙන A/L විභාගයට වැඩිම ලකුණු ගන්න ඉතා ලොකු තරගයක් දෙන්න වෙනවා. මේ හේතුව නිසා නොමිලේ අධ්‍යාපනය කියල කිවාට උපකාරක පංති ගුරුවරු සැහෙන පිරිසක් කෝටිපතියන් නම් කරලා තියෙනවා. A/L වලින් පස්සේ, රජයේ විශ්ව විද්‍යාල සිසුන් සහ පුද්ගලික විශ්ව විද්‍යාල (උපාධි කඩ) සිසුන් කියා එකට පාසල් ගිය ළමුන් දෙකඩ වෙලා සමාජය තුල භේද භින්න වෙනවා. අධ්‍යාපනය වෙළද භාණ්ඩයක් නොවේ කියල කෑ ගණහ හැමෝම එක්කෝ උපකාරක පංති කරනවා, නැමති නම් උපාධි කඩ වල අමතර අදායමක් හොයන්න වැඩ කරනවා. රටේ හැම දෙයක් වගේ උසස් අධ්‍යාපනයත් මහ ව්හිළුවක්!il

ප්‍රසිද්ධ පාසල් වල AL පළවෙනි Term test එක fail උනාම art වලට පලයන් කියනව. අපිට පොඩි කාලේ කියල දෙනව වැඩේ හරියනකන් උත්සාහ කරන්න කියලා. හැබැයි AL වලට ආවම ඒක වෙනස් වෙනවද? එක පාරක් test fail උනා කියලා ඒ කෙනා මෝඩයෙක් වෙනවද? මොන අමන අදහසක්ද? මේ ගැන මොකද ගප්පියා හිතන්නේ?

No. Sri Lanka follow free-education system which create lower quality education system than what's on the West. And, In west - many are open minded but in Southern Asia, everybody is very strict. It has to do with DNA of Sri Lankan's. Don't blame West for everything.

@@sahansathsara719 Finland is developed and rich. Their free education system started in 1968. They were independent country ever before then unlike Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka has to stop free education and put emphasis on quality. Sri Lanka can start a high quality free education system when Sri Lanka reach certain social level.
Of course, we have to remove exams and focus on practical level things....
Teachers has to be certified.

අපි අපේ කැම්පස් එකේ ඔය සිස්ටම් එක වෙනස් කරන්න මාරම වෙහෙසක් දැරුවා. කැම්පස් එකේ exam ලියන්න දෙන්නෙ නෑ 80% attendance එක නැත්නම්. අපිට ඔනේ දේ එහෙ ඉගෙන ගන්න නිදහසක් නෑ. අපිට ප්‍රශ්නය කැම්පස් එක ඇතුලේ විසදා ගැනීමට නොහැකි වෙද්දී අපි පාරට යනවා. අපිට නැති උනත් එන්න ඉන්න අයට වත් තමන් කැමති විදියට ඉගෙන ගන්න නිදහස අරන් දෙන්න. අන්තිමට වෙන්නෙ වතුර පාර කාල එන්න. අවුරුදු ගානක් වෙන්නෙ මේක. ඔය කියන system එක දැන් එක වෙනස් කරන්න බැරි ගානට රට පත්වෙලා තියෙන්න.😔 මිනිස්සු දන්නෙ අපිට බනින්න විතරයි. අපිට උදව් කරන්න කවුරුත් නෑ. මට පුලුවන් උනු ගමන් මන් මේ රටෙන් යනවා. ආයේ එන්න නම් හිතක් නෑ.😔

This society destroys teen Guinnesses ,its education does not meet the requirements of some people it is absolutely effed for example u have to wait untill like 5 years after OLS before you can get your private pilot license, whereas in aussie or the us u can have your first solo flight at 16 and get your license making u a early earner when you like 19. This country destroys those dreams . Shame it was liberated from the british😒

Tharindu Aiya it's good that you bring out self studying in this content. Southasian countries have not even dreamt of something like that but all the other countries have got this into practice for some extent. What I think is everyone cannot self study and make them selves productve so I think it aint Toxic to get educated by an Institute and it will change n further years... investing, endorsing, trading or starting up a startup isnt in our countries we have focused and we have been trained to work for someone and not to be indipendent and be more productive and what you are doing is great influence to our people I hope they get these facts into consideration and make them selves Idiolised

I don't see that much issues in our education system. Yes, It has a few issues. But It is better than most of the countries in the world. But people who couldn't get the use of it, always complain. Not for any sympathy about the Education system, but for their own mental satisfaction. And Guppiya, You are also one of them. We are living a better life than most of the people in the world thanks to our education system. Especially we are one of the best countries in education among all ex- British colonies.
Any schoolboy or girl who is seeing this video, Please do not get brainwashed. You have plenty of opportunities to do great things through our education system. We are the ones who are getting most of the full scholarships from reputed universities in the world. Go to school, Get selected into a reputed university in Sri Lanka. Focus on academics. Get high results. Do researches with an experienced supervisor of your university. Publish a research article or a few. Then Apply for scholarships from reputed universities. Then get paid and get a Ph.D. at the same time from those universities. Sri Lankan state Universities have that recognition.
You are going to invent and continue the career as a researcher or you are going to teach as a lecturer, is up to you.

@@Calchustler well yeah as a person who probably is getting the best of it, I can assure you it's not satisfactory. I personally am a class topper in a leading school in sri lanka and I can assure you I'd love to have a rather practical stem course instead of the parroting we do. I wish I could drop some subjects I will forget anyway after the exams or at least have these subjects teach me somethong practical than just forcing me to memorize useless information. And I have friends from several other countries and compared to theirs, I find most of the parts in our education system rather dull and boring, and in fact, useless.
Yet I agree with you, most people just blame the system for their personal failures, but that doesn't justify the faults in the system entirely.
The system is outdated. The fact that some of the people who pointed that out failed because of their laziness doesn't change it. What should change , should change and it's time it did
