I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. @@JeffAvenue Taeyong and Mark debuted with NCT. SuperM is their second debut with members from other groups :) So their FROM Nct. Ten and Lucas too.

Kinda late but i'm surprised too, esp since that was the case when i wasn't a fan of nct yet knew their names easily. Even if you're from another fandom you'd somehow end up knowing them anyway 😂
BOSS by NCT U has a strong and clean choreo that u might like. THE 7TH SENSE IS smooth and complex. Of course, you have to check out CHERRY BOMB (nct 127) it’s unique and loona did a cover of it. BLACK ON BLACK as well and it shows off all nct members are great dancers which is what they’re known for :)

Yes haechan, the one you said to have a good vocal tone is really a unique vocalist. I think in case of style, i love his the most cause he has so much voice control and pretty vocal tone as well. You can hear more from him in NCT Dream since he's the main vocalist there :)

taeil, the guy you said you wanted to see more, actually tends to dance more laid back but is still synchronized with the group and their energy. he does this so he has the energy to sing, especially that high note lol

He's actually a pretty good dancer, I feel like the company has told him to just dance more laid back or that he feels pressured to carry the vocals cuz I remember watching firetruck performances and fancams and he's so much more energetic compared to now. Also I know he basically sings everything by himself. Like in mr removeds etc he's always the only one singing the chorus together with Doyoung. It's like they've told him to give up parts of his perfomances to carry the vocals (live) mostly by himself which is sad. A lot of NCT members say Taeil a secret dance machine too lol

If synchronization is what you’re after i really recommend seventeen!! Their most iconic dances are aju nice, pretty u, clap, crazy in love, and getting closer!! Also, lilili yabay is a performance focused song!

Jeff Avenue OH MY goshhh yessssss please, Seventeen is truly amazing and they also self-produce their stuff including most of their choreography (the member that does this the most is Hoshi) so that makes it even more wonderful to watch. The songs mentioned above are really good to react to, and if you ever want to watch a more light-hearted and playful/cute dance from them I’d recommend the Snapshoot choreography video. I’m super excited to watch you react to them if you get a chance ❤️

NCT is actually master in synchronizing hard moves (they still could deliver their own dance style tho), but Regular and Kick It is an exception, the dances are more like vibin, like feeling yourself dance kinda style if you know what i mean, and i think they really delivered the mood of every song into the dance. they are really amazing performers. if i could recommend try react to NCT Dream - GO :) nice reaction btw
edit : and yes, nct 127's mark = superm's mark. i mean, mark is everywhere literally.
nanana yuta i wouldn’t cite synchronization as something nct excels at tbh. they synchronize their hits but not their entire movements or levels, it’s just not... their style.

Nct's choreography usually got a lot going on in one move, for example like cherry bomb, regular, and wakey wakey, they all moves differently rather than synchronized same move, but I actually like that a lot about nct😊 (and wakey wakey got some "interesting" moves also hihi)
I also recommend 'Chain'
in wakey wakey, i think there are times that every members has their own choreo
You could say thats a formula they use a lot, Taeil singing a high note before the breakdown/final chorus

13:53 that member you're talking about is HAECHAN! the youngest in nct 127! and yes his voice is much more high pitched than the other members thats why you think that. its a very unique voice for a male and its amazing!
I was surprised when I watched his part in the 24 hour relay (I think it was 2-3 a.m.) because his voice was much deeper than when you normally hear it

Great reaction! You wanted to know what Simon Says was about. It's basically talking about not staying with the crowd. In the game, Simon Says, you have to listen to whoever is "Simon". In the song, They talk about how they're not going to follow everyone else. Apologies if I got anything wrong as I'm sure some people can explain it better than me. Thanks for the reaction!!

The English version is on the Irregular side of the album, which is about the dream of being an idol and materialism. The Korean version acknowledges the materialistuc side of things, but it's on the regular side of the album and it focuses on the reality of being an idol and all the effort they put into getting where they're at today

Nct dream go is so freaking good
Okay, here goes a quick "guide" of them:
-Taeyong is the one with yellow cap and socks
-Mark is the guy with white shirt under his hoodie
-Taeil is the main vocal, he usually does the high notes (here and in kick it), he's the one in the black simple t-shirt and ripped jeans
-Haechan is the guy with leather jacket and white shirt
-Jaehyun is the one with the black cap and blue shoes (sings at 4:53)
-Yuta is wearing a dark blue bomber jacket and a blue cap
-Johnny is the guy with a hoodie that has something written in yellow
-Doyoung is the one in sweater and ripped jeans
-Jungwoo is the guy that says "bless me, achoo" first (2:56)
Also ther's a member called WinWin that is not participating in NCT 127's activities since Simon Says era because he is promoting with NCT's chinese sub-unit, WayV.
The concept of NCT is having not defined number of members (they're 21 at the moment lol) and they have four sub-units until now: NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV and NCT U (that is a not fixed sub-unit, members can be in U for a comeback and not participate in the next one). They also have a song where all the members perfomance together (they were 18 then), it's called Black on black.
I'd say one of my fav NCT choreo for the more synchronized and like, same leveled part is "chain". I feel like it's a bit passive aggressive but also very slick and had those interesting moves lololol, but I gotta say it's pretty dang synchronized

As much as Kick It was supposed to be a bit more “messy” I think it’s also because there was a lot going on around this comeback.
Tae and Mark are both in SuperM and they were travelling and learning songs and choreography for both projects.
I’m sure there will people disagreeing with me on this, but I feel like they didn’t have as much time together as a full unit for this comeback.

And your right it is Mark from SUPERM! Mark has debuted in all NCT groups (besides WayV) and SUPERM, Taeyong, Ten and Lucas also debuted in SUPERM and they are all part NCT as well!

I always liked nct’s dance bc they are more freestyle, like not very synchronized. Which is usually a flaw, but for me it kind of works for them, specially bc each of the have a different style or experience with dance💚

I dont think he was being afraid of the fans. He said in the end he was more cultered now (about nct), which I really appreciate. Some reactors really cant take critisicm, but he's not.. and still being honest in his reaction.
I don’t mind the criticism from fans cause I’m new and curious :) I do honestly believe that this choreo is much better than Kick It BUT I did forget to mention in the video that I like Kick It as a song more. fun fact: they actually learned the choreo under 24hrs bcs 'simon says' is from the repackage album of the previous album 'regular-irregular' & it was right after the promotion of 'regular-irregular' in US, so their schedules were really tight..
it still amazes me that they perfectly mastered this choreo under 24hrs, also.. the choreographer of 'simon says' was the one who originally choreographed 'CoCo' that 3J danced to on their home party performance!!
The choreo for 7th sense was really really satisfiying to watch. Ik that sounds weird but like I really enjoy watching the performance version for it.

The Simon says choreography continues to blow me away bc I have no idea how they can be so in sync during the chorus part!! Plus that move is so incredibly hard to do since they’re moving their arms and feet at different speeds, let alone doing it in sync with all the members 😩👏🏽👏🏽
simon says is truly a gem in nct 127's discography bc theres quite a number that disliked it but i loooove it. their concept are always unique but i feel like this one is very 127. the song basically talks about breaking the norm or what the song personifies as simon.

I think the word you were looking for at @6:24 was “swag”😁. I used to dance for a hip-hop/popping crew (about 5 years), and whenever we were performing a piece that was more for style/hype versus synchronization, we always said “put more swag versus cleaning the move”. We HATED that word but that was the only way to get the idea hahaha

I’m sure you’re probably inundated with recommendations but I thought I’d share a couple you might like after hearing you appreciate synchronisation. EXO-CBX Blooming Days dance practice. There’s not a whole lot of technically hard aspects to it but it’s such a satisfying choreo to watch in terms of being in sync and timing with the music. Same with NCT U 7th sense performance video, more technical in the way they change tempo and go from fast to slow. And honestly any dance practice from Ten, especially his Devil performance.

Thank you! I have training across many different styles so I’m glad to shed light on other areas that aren’t usually covered. But I do wish other dance reactors would talk more about technique. That’s why I made this channel haha. Vocal coach reactors do it so well!

The high note at 7:50 is Taeil! His voice is amazing, can be high and clear but also sexy and kinda husky. His contributions to the vocal line are really overlooked, y'all be sleepin' on Taeil lol
