it’s a shame though it’s probably my favorite choreo of theirs but sm used really horrible camera angles and movement so the dance really feels disconnected :/
in the dance practice, the move was no longer there because jaehyun and taeyong fans had a fight, saying sm is careless for making taeyong stepped on him, risking jaehyun to have injury. therefore they stopped doing it now. the fans also told the same thing about mark stepping on taeyong in kick it but the boy reassured that hes fine :(
2:32 is a really satisfying part of Doyoung where he like controls the moves of the others by his hands🤣 it is very in sync and he also does that in other choreographies😂🤣👏💚

its good to see ur reaction bout this, most tht dont really know about dance would just say tht theyre not synchronize and everything but actually theres just a lot of things going on individually and also in group like the members are dancing differently in separate groups

To be honest, me as a non dancer seeing wakey wakey for the first time was like, what??? I mean i got confused by the "mixed" choreo, but then once i got the pattern of their choreo i was blown away, srsly i was sooo amazed, like yo dude whoever the choregrapher is genius!!
jeff, i see you're very into doyoung's tone! i totally recommend giving nct u's yestoday a listen, there IS a music video but it's mostly the scenery and close-up sequences of the members which means no choreography to react to, but doyoung is in charge of the chorus and i think he did a fantastic job. he sounded so vulnerable, sad and nostalgic, all at the same time, especially on the last chorus when he goes "sorry that i walked away." if you're ever in the mood to get emotional, that's THE song!

FYI, the choreographer is our queen rino nakasone. she called shinee as her kids, and nct 127 as her grandkids lol. she's a LONG time choreographer for SM. she directed NCT 127's Neo City tour, SuperM's tour, Taemin's tour and many of shinee's ofc 127's japanese singles somehow managed to be more "noise" (all of the place, but in a good way) than their korean singles lol. Rino also choreographed their other jpn single "Chain" that is also unique. You should check it out FYI, if you want abs, you should check the live version because Taeyong is wearing crop tops haha

This is one of my fav pieces bc it’s so weird. And Rino Nakusone choreographed it, who I LOVE. Also Haechan wasn’t dancing in the MV if you noticed, he had an ankle injury.
Oooo definitely listen to the bsides to enjoy the epicness of Taeil's voice. Song's like No Longer, Sun & Moon and End to Start. Their bsides are where the vocal legends take centre stage
the choreography is by rino nakasone, and she's really good at having people do different steps to form one image! one of my favorites from her is shinee's your number. i think this is her first work with 127 so it's definitely really different from their usual style.
In my opinion, the most complicated dance from Nct besides Cherry Bomb is Wakey Wakey. because we will not be able to focus with one member and one movement, but all members have their respective movements that can make us have to repeat the video and pay attention to each dance per member. and this choreography is really cool in the dance practice version, followed by the movement of the camera which as much as possible can cover all members with various angles that highlight the points of the dance. One Word : Perfect 👏👏
the stepping on Jaehyun's leg was removed later on by SM, since fans were hating on it and saying that it is not safe and it will only hurt Jaehyun. but the fact is, Taeyong always doing the hardest choreo, yet their company goes blind
If you notice, Haechan's not dancing...that's because he was recovering from an injury at the time of their Japan promotions. He shot the MV while seated. And, he still performed in some of the segments in Japan...seated. It ain't NCT without his voice.

Wow! Thank you! I remember I recommended this song a while ago (back when you didn’t know any of the members names lol. That’s how long ago it was) but I was scared you wouldn’t like it because of the uh... weird choreo. Thanks for appreciating it cause NCT’s Japanese choreos are actually some of my favorite (Chain and it’s sister Wakey-Wakey). I've heard people describe it at "organized chaos" and I completely agree with that. The choreo is really just: memorize your own parts and then it'll work. Also, their visuals in the Japanese releases are unmatched. I also have to admit that I also like the Japanese releases for the amount of Taeil lines and center time. I mean..Taeil killing part in Chain (+Winwin's line) is iconic. This song really does have a little fairer line and center distribution, which I'm happy for. Kick It and Superhuman as well also had improved line and center distribution. I'm glad that in their newer releases SM is starting to distribute it more fairly. Like the line distribution was at it's absolute worst in Cherry Bomb but now it's getting better. From the track videos, Make Your Day also seems like it's gonna be Jungwoo's song and Nonstop seems like it's gonna be Yuta's. I'm happy 😊 Also, random but everyone should know the best ship is Yuta x his Bucket Hat. btw the move in Kick It with Mark kicking off Taeyong was not in the original choreo designed by the choreographer- Taeyong added it after cause he thought it'd be cool. I think in this MV he's standing on Jaehyun but I don't think it was in the Dance Practice. PS: You should watch the Neo City log with Yuta 😂. Also, the stylists put Taeyong in crop top for one of Wakey-Wakey's performances 🌚

jeff, i see you're very into doyoung's tone! i totally recommend giving nct u's yestoday a listen, there IS a music video but it's mostly the scenery and close-up sequences of the members which means no choreography to react to, but doyoung is in charge of the chorus and i think he did a fantastic job. he sounded so vulnerable, sad and nostalgic, all at the same time, especially on the last chorus when he goes "sorry that i walked away." if you're ever in the mood to get emotional, that's THE song!

Apart from the amazing choreo i just love how the syllables roll out their tongues as they sing it such that, even if i don't understand most of the lyrics, it still sounds like heaven to my ears. FYI, the choreographer is our queen rino nakasone. she called shinee as her kids, and nct 127 as her grandkids lol. she's a LONG time choreographer for SM. she directed NCT 127's Neo City tour, SuperM's tour, Taemin's tour and many of shinee's ofc
127's japanese singles somehow managed to be more "noise" (all of the place, but in a good way) than their korean singles lol. Rino also choreographed their other jpn single "Chain" that is also unique. You should check it out

This is one of my fav pieces bc it’s so weird. And Rino Nakusone choreographed it, who I LOVE. Also Haechan wasn’t dancing in the MV if you noticed, he had an ankle injury.
Oooo definitely listen to the bsides to enjoy the epicness of Taeil's voice. Song's like No Longer, Sun & Moon and End to Start. Their bsides are where the vocal legends take centre stage

the choreography is by rino nakasone, and she's really good at having people do different steps to form one image! one of my favorites from her is shinee's your number. i think this is her first work with 127 so it's definitely really different from their usual style.
You might want to check out their Wakey wakey's performance on Neocity Saitama or SMtown, Taeyong's crop top will forever be iconic! 💚

In my opinion, the most complicated dance from Nct besides Cherry Bomb is Wakey Wakey. because we will not be able to focus with one member and one movement, but all members have their respective movements that can make us have to repeat the video and pay attention to each dance per member.
and this choreography is really cool in the dance practice version, followed by the movement of the camera which as much as possible can cover all members with various angles that highlight the points of the dance.

the stepping on Jaehyun's leg was removed later on by SM, since fans were hating on it and saying that it is not safe and it will only hurt Jaehyun. but the fact is, Taeyong always doing the hardest choreo, yet their company goes blind

If you notice, Haechan's not dancing...that's because he was recovering from an injury at the time of their Japan promotions. He shot the MV while seated. And, he still performed in some of the segments in Japan...seated. It ain't NCT without his voice.

Wow! Thank you! I remember I recommended this song a while ago (back when you didn’t know any of the members names lol. That’s how long ago it was) but I was scared you wouldn’t like it because of the uh... weird choreo. Thanks for appreciating it cause NCT’s Japanese choreos are actually some of my favorite (Chain and it’s sister Wakey-Wakey). I've heard people describe it at "organized chaos" and I completely agree with that. The choreo is really just: memorize your own parts and then it'll work.
Also, their visuals in the Japanese releases are unmatched.
I also have to admit that I also like the Japanese releases for the amount of Taeil lines and center time. I mean..Taeil killing part in Chain (+Winwin's line) is iconic.
This song really does have a little fairer line and center distribution, which I'm happy for. Kick It and Superhuman as well also had improved line and center distribution. I'm glad that in their newer releases SM is starting to distribute it more fairly. Like the line distribution was at it's absolute worst in Cherry Bomb but now it's getting better. From the track videos, Make Your Day also seems like it's gonna be Jungwoo's song and Nonstop seems like it's gonna be Yuta's. I'm happy 😊
Also, random but everyone should know the best ship is Yuta x his Bucket Hat.
btw the move in Kick It with Mark kicking off Taeyong was not in the original choreo designed by the choreographer- Taeyong added it after cause he thought it'd be cool. I think in this MV he's standing on Jaehyun but I don't think it was in the Dance Practice.
PS: You should watch the Neo City log with Yuta 😂. Also, the stylists put Taeyong in crop top for one of Wakey-Wakey's performances 🌚

Japanese choreographer is not a joke, the one who work with rino nakasone always make amazing choreographer. Like taemin famous, flame of love, and sayonara hitory. Now nct 127 start to expand to Japan so their choreographer more exciting
