Teacher LSM once said that he trained his artists to be someone different once they're on stage. He once said this about Mark when Mark had a show with Henry (I forgot the title tho but it was a hilarious show), someone noticed that Mark changed his personality when he was already on stage performing it was like the shy Mark disappeared and LSM said he trained his artists that way and he hope no one will mistake them as having multiple personality disorder (jokingly). I think every performer can relate. Whenever they are on stage performing it's like they are someone else.
They've been extremely busy ever since quarantine ended. 4 of them still recovering from covid. Music show pre recordings everyday for 4 days, offline fanmeets, dream concert, markhyuck Osaka 127 concert preps, they're probably preparing for dream show 2 as well, not filming dance practices atm is understandable. They did this one because they promised it to us before the members got covid
100%. that’s why i stopped expecting that there was going to be a dance practice for beatbox like glitch mode so i was surprised there was this version that came out :)
the small moves they incorporate, and small adorable moves they used to replace the original moves just adds more charm into the whole choreography, they do sharp moves then suddenly a member would do a cute improvisation and still look amazing alltogether, more so because it was them who's dancing it hehe. + they show some goofy side but would still look good with the choreo, I just love the energy that's unique to them
They are the only group that i try to watch every performance of because of how much they improvise when they perform, like that is sooo charismatic and cute. It really shows how much they become one with the stage instead of being "dragged" to perform or feeling nervous.
Also in 5:05, do u notice the 4 of them at back? Jeno, Jisung, and Mark actually copy whatever Jaemin would decide to do. So it's like different every performance 😭 so cute
Yess ,Mark has alot of energy but its never too much , but just the perfect amount , he knows how to control his energy , so his moves look very sharp clean and precise ,its nvr messy
Yeahh, as long as I know,, Jisung started dance actually because when he was little he lacked confidence. So his mom suggested him to take a poppin dance class so he can be more confident. So that's why Jisung loves dance so much, bcs it's makes him more confident 😀😀😀
They actually shot this with only 2 hours break coz a day before they were in dream concert >> 2 hours break (chenle said him, jaemin, and haechan didn't sleep and just played games together) >> inkigayo pre-recording (3 am kst as far as i remember) >> inkigayo live show >> offline fansigning event >> beatbox dance practice. Their schedule is tight but they still show a great performance and they look like they genuinely enjoy shooting the dance practice video. Our hard working dreamies
The reason why Jisung started dancing in the first place was because he was extremely shy and timid as a kid, so his parents enrolled him in dance classes hoping he would gain confidence.
at 11:50 look at how mark moves his head and arms in that lineup!! jisung too! they both do this head movement that adds such a nice flare to the move!! and then at 11:55 watch renjun's footwork... the way he moves his feet as he moves up was different than the way jeno, jisung, or mark did it, and i absolutely love it!! it's almost more of a shuffle than just long steps forward and he looks so good doing it! i really enjoy this style of choreo for renjun. they all look like they're having so much fun with this practice which makes it even more enjoyable to watch!!
I liked you mentioned JS persona change from off to on stage, cuz the reason he started dancing was his school teacher suggested his parents to enroll him in a dance class to help with his shy/uptight personality but ended up falling in love with it.
Would love to emphasize that Jisung’s beatbox highlight hand movement is somewhat like a butterfly. It’s hand clasped together, “beat = right hand open, left hand closed” & “box = left hand open, right hand closed”. Loved your analysis as always!

fun fact they film this video late at night after really tiring schedule (the day before they did Dream Concert until late at night, 10PM i believe, and after that they stright up did pre-recording for Inkigayo around 2/3 AM after that they have offline fansign schedule, the day was really packed for them) but even after that they still so in scyn, so full of energy, still so hyper, love them so much 7Dream
They mentioned in their post-concert live that they filmed a Glitch Mode performance/dance video! They couldn't do one during Glith Mode promos because of Chenle's injury but they finally got to do one with 7 Dream so it's probably coming soon
they didn't record one for glitch mode because chenle was injured. actually they hadn't slept for more than 24 hours when they recorded this at midnight.
They said in an IG live that they have recorded the original ot7 glitch mode dance practice but I'm not sure when it will be released. Hopefully there will be one release

June 18th full day preparation+performance for dream concert, rest for 2-3 hours then off to inkigayo prerecording at 2am June 19th, offline fan sign afterward, then filming this video late at night that same day plus Jeno Haechan Jaemin and Chenle just recovered for Covid and ended their quarantine a few days prior...they were functioning on food and enthusiasm. But i think this is such a clever move because whenever they dance in music shows this part when theree of them follow Jaemin, the choreo is changing depending on what Jaemin will do and then three of them will follow him and then they will laugh. 😆 the duck move is so funny because they actually duck where in fact thw original choreo of this is the 4 of them will basically just ran to their blockings 😆 anyways as usual, i did enjoy and had take aways from your reaction video. ♡
