- Bodycam footage has been released showing the arrest of a 12-year-old girl in Tulsa, Oklahoma in January after she allegedly stabbed her 9-year-old brother to death while their mother was asleep. According to the Tulsa Police Department, the young suspect admitted to the deadly stabbing after being taken into custody. The bodycam video depicts the middle school student being placed in handcuffs and put into the back of a police cruiser.

In the footage, the 12-year-old girl can be heard repeatedly apologizing and at times praying out loud, saying she wants forgiveness. She questions the arresting officer about whether the handcuffs are necessary, stating "I'm a good child." The girl proceeds to ask multiple times if she is going to jail before making the statement "my life is over." Due to the open investigation and the suspect being a minor, portions of the bodycam video have been redacted and blurred by authorities in compliance with department policies.

Good advice 🎉yep
This child only had a single parent. Also, the mom had 2 baby daddies.
That's funny, my dad had a similar thing with my brother and I. When we would say "Sorry" for something we had done multiple times in the past he would tell us that if we really meant it then we wouldn't do it again, otherwise we weren't truly sorry. So the running joke/saying became "Don't say sorry, just don't do it."

I think it's much worse than losing both children, let's say, in a car accident. This must be a complete devastation psychologically, knowing that you have failed as a parent like this.

I think we all know that there are people out there who have it worse, but when you are in the middle of your own crisis it doesn’t really help you unless you can learn something from their situation that will help you. And no it doesn’t make you feel better because now you feel as though you have no right to be upset about your situation. I hope people will just stop saying that. If they don’t know what to say I wish they would just acknowledge that they don’t know what to say to help. A simple “I wish there was something I could say that would help you get through this but you know you can always talk to me and I’ll just listen.”
And of course, there are people who have it better. Does it mean that you can’t be happy too? I don’t think so.
People should stop invalidating other people’s pain just because others have it worst.
@Clementina Kozma wow. You completely missed their point and then decided to get down and dirty for no reason. You probably live in a 6 figure household and think you have it bad... no need to respond to that, you already did to someone else who was trying to be helpful to people like you.
In a split second the daughters life and that of her mothers has changed forever. What amazes me is how the cop remained so calm during it all. Real heartbreaking.
The mother still has custody of her 2 surviving children. They still have healing between both of them. The girl is going to many therapists and mental health specialists every hour of the day. - Yes, there is a difference:
- “Why did he shoot me? What did I do wrong,”
- That is what an 11-year-old said, after being shot in the chest by the police that he had called to protect his mom.
- This little psychopath, on the other hand, sorry for herself, afraid for herself, concerned for herself -- on-and-off fake crying -- is being handled with kid gloves [She has just stabbed her little brother in the chest, eventually, killing him].
- AND NO, I AM NOT SAYING THIS LITTLE GIRL DESERVED TO BE SHOT, TOO -- please grasp that!
- YES, I know two different states, two different situations, two different police departments -- and maybe it is just that the police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, are better trained than the police in Indianola, Mississippi -- BUT there is a difference....
- And I will say this, also: that police officer had no business talking jail time with that little girl -- though it is probably true she will never spend a day in jail. She will probably get another opportunity....

I agree, she didn’t ask anything about her brother and she seemed so over whelmed over everything but once the officer had told her to go to jail she had to be 13 or older she seemed so relieved and at that point I asked myself if she was even sorry about what she had done. Although she had shouted curse words and said sorry over and over again I am contemplating if she meant all of what she said.
The fact that she's cursing to her mom says alot. "I'm so fu*&ing sorry".... "Idk what tf happened" to the police. Says alot about her upbringing and how she was being raised. I would NEVER breathe a word like that to my parents.
She let the inner thoughts win, and now both her and her mother have to deal with the consequences.

@@ydkme.69Yeah, no.
Loving may berry she definitely wasn’t caring abt her brother
RIP to the little guy, and my condolences to the mother. Nobody can fathom what it feels like after losing a child especially like this
The mom lost 2 children.
She seems kinda Rachet. Idk, not trying to judge but why is the father not around? What did the kid do to her first? Lots of questions here.
@@adriandimas4373 "not trying to judge" right after you said she seems "ratchet" 🤦♂
@@adriandimas4373 what pathetic things to say about a woman who's just lost a child. You're disgusting.
@@AdolfTrudeau Let's call it like it is, a broken family below the median income in America. Ratchet parenting raises kids that curse and commit spontaneous acts of intentional and unintentional violence. Simple.
My God, the way the officer instructed her to sit “criss cross apple sauce” broke my heart. He knew he was speaking to a child and that was something she would understand 😔
I know 😞
And she'll probably be tried as an adult?
@@jaywilson2600 fingers crossed
😱🙄
12 year old girls aren't idiots. You know this.
The mom broke my heart. Blaming herself like it was her fault and it wasn’t. May the sweet little boy rest in peace.
Probably was. Sound like she let the internet and outside influences raise her kids instead of instilling any morals and good values in her kids. Her 12 year-old is swearing up a storm, cuts herself, and just stabbed her brother...like.... and the brother was probably doing some sick annoying crap to make her lose her temper.
@@ewidontlikeyou Sounds like a single mom trying to juggle around so much by herself. kids are kids and just because a 9 year old was annoying shouldn't justify anything. The internet is a huge influence and something that you cant really control anymore.
@@ewidontlikeyou you don't know the situation so stop.

Considering the circumstances, this officer is outstanding. My condolences to the family and my absolute respect for this officer. This country needs more like him.
This country DOES have plenty of cops like him, the media just likes to show you what they want.

This is devastating!!! I'm going to apologize to my sister for bugging her so much when we were kids and thank her for not stabbing me!
I know that's right, I think I'm a thank mines too!
I apologized to my younger brother for being mean to him
Your joke made me want to laugh but at the same time you’re really sad.
My older brother stabbed me in the head as an infant. My offense, I grabbed his book. Luckily his two year strength wasn't enough to really hurt me, just some stitches. I don't remember thankfully.
@@msKita43 what is he like now?? 😳🧐
Poor mother lost both her children in the blink of an eye. I feel so much pain for her. Prayers to that family.
The mother is obviously a monster to have raised a daughter who could do what she did. Single mother families are destroying the US...wake up!
I don’t think in a family where a daughter cuts her arms since a longer time and then decides to kill her little brother is everything okay. But hey give credits to who you want.
pain. sure you do
@@davidsaniba7245 growing up i noticed alot of females would cut their wrists i never understood why some came from good backgrounds but i guess you never really know
no they only lost one
The Officer is absolutely amazing. What a calm, collected way to deal with the murderer of a nine year old brother of hers. My heart goes out to the mother.
As the oldest of three, this is extremely horrifying. I could never imagine hurting my siblings like this, no matter what. The idea that someone so young would go out of their way to do something like this is simply disturbing and very heartbreaking… 😥
This was my first thought. I’m the oldest of 5 and I’ve always felt more like a nurturer. I do believe this young woman is experiencing a mental crisis. Her demeanor, the hot and cold, the cuts I’m sure there’s a lot more going on with her. My heart breaks for this family. RIP young man.
I believe her medication was abruptly changed and/or stopped not long before this incident 🙁
That's great that was your experience.
no cause if i think about someone harming my siblings i feel my blood boil. i could never ever do sth like this to them
It's obviously the medication, you know when women take pills and our hormones f#$@d up, sometimes I cry every night, I'm angry at everyone and still dont know why... What more for her medication?
