in reading the manual it said to push in "the key" but that wasn't listed or noted anywhere else in the documentation that came with. then i found your vid and it made perfect sense. thank you very much for taking the time to make and post your vid. as for the snow machine itself i couldn't be happier. we had a couple of feet fall over the past two days. between that and drifting we were buried and snowed in. the electric start was fantastic, started up the very first time after 2-3 seconds. considering we got down to -31F overnight and it'd only warmed up to -6F at the time,.that's reallly good imho. it had no problem either blasting away snow up to a foot and a half. the drifts that were near 3' took several passes but still got through them all. again thank you much for your video it really helped me out.👍
I got this delivered 1 month ago, we haven't had much snow so I only used it a couple times and the at first it worked fine, the third time however the auger wouldn't turn at all and there was a burning smell. I was told by Home Depot I couldn't return it because it was past 30 days (Dec 7 to Jan 16, so 35 days 🙄) and was told to call the company for the warranty. I tried to call all day, I wait on the phone line, and then when it's my turn I get 'there is no one to take your call, goodbye'. Even if I get through and they fix it, I don't know how long that's going to take to fix and I'm going to be blower-less for the snowiest part of the season. Absolute garbage. One month. This thing lasted one month where we didn't even get that much snow. Extremely frustrated with the product, and also disappointed with Home Depot.
Just got one not a fan.. The snowblower chute rotates with vibrations... so you need to hold it in place to blow to the left.. Not a good design. Looking for a fix
I've got the same issue with mine hard ish to turn the chute but yet it vibrates and moves all on its own when throwing snow. What ive done is tighten all the visible bolts that are on the vertical connecting rod witch seems to help quite a bit. Idk how you can install the chute wrong 🤷♂️

What about reverse? How does putting this in reverse work ? I heard the machine shuts off and you have to restart it to change directions.
You just move the gear handle to reverse. Doesn't shut off. Very easy.
Its belt drive and you dont need to shut it down to switch. I have this same blower but i have had nothing but problems with it
Can you drop it lower it look like u left a lot of snow behind…

NEVER had that issue with mine. You probably didn't connect the chute properly.

Two words…….ski goggles
With a driveway that size, I wouldn't trust that Powersmart snowblower. I would've gotten something like An Ariens or a Toro, but that's just me.
Works fine for my driveway.
ya, the chinese products are the best. I never buy American made products anymore. It's nothing but overpriced crap now
