  • On August 10, 2020, the midwest was devastated by a Derecho that was equivalent to a category 2-3 hurricane. 600,000 people have been without power for days, thousands of trees are down, and both homes and crops are damaged or destroyed.
    Here is a look at my family's experience dealing with the aftermath of the storm. Over the course of three days, we were able to clear almost all of the debris from my mothers house. However, many others had been unable to or are still trying.

    Nice video. I made a short video too, during the storm and the aftermath. We live in Shueyville and although we had lots of damage out here, it was way worse in Cedar Rapids. My son lives in CR and you couldn’t see the front of his house. Feel free to check my video out, 🤗🤗🤗
