More segments like this pls!!
We need more segments on this…
Less baking and more on healthy foods please. We have to stop relying on pharmaceutical products. They are sometimes unnecessary and we are encouraged to rely on them to line their profits.
Healthy food, water, exercise daily and a supportive tribe - let’s get back to basics.
I refer to the doctors as Drug pushers unfortunately in the legal way. Every tablet is a chemical. I won’t forget this comment made by my doctor when l asked for sleeping tablets, she replied try the herbal ones they are better for you.
And none of the synthetic morals and ideologies of modern society poisoning your mind.
The problem is the pharma and food co exist. The food companies pump everything with unnecessary carcinogenic chemicals + pesticides, inflammatory ingredients which is why everybody is developing diseases, intolerances and cancer rates is now 1 in 2.
These nasty evil items also extract nutrients from the body when ingested and who benefits from more people dying and becoming sick? Of course Pharma.
Everything is clockwork. They all work together not just these 2 sectors.
If people could really see what these horrors running the world are really doing to us i think society would collapse.
Kudos to this lady. She knows her stuff.
the only thing she said wrong was the Olive Oil, olive oil oxidize's. Replace Olive oil with butter
@@ACXIAO666not even watched the video but most the world can’t tolerate dairy and the countries that eat the most olive oil live longest.
Not really. Tomatoes are literally poison to many people which she failed to mention
@@ACXIAO666 Please don't do this. Olive oil is a superfood - it contains healthy fats (monosaturated fats), is high in anti oxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. Butter on the other hand contains saturated fats which can negatively impact health (in comparison to olive oil). There's a reason the Mediterranean diet is considered the healthiest diet :)
How do you know she knows her stuff? Aren’t we just taking her word for it? This advice could be bad advice for all we know, as laypeople.
Loved this segment - so useful to know the true nutritional value of frozen foods, which in this current financial climate, is so reassuring! More of these please 🙏
None of this is new.
@@AellaMaudenot new but less and less people know these things nowadays so it’s good to get the info out there 😊
What an EXCELLENT segment ! Loved it x
excellent segment
Well done her! So interesting and engaging! Made for TV!
Yes, very camera-friendly.
Cat is loving that Bolognese :) have to try it
Great ❤
As a personal trainer to Lincoln’s businessmen & women I suggest their nutritional needs are equally if not more important than the frequency of their strength training sessions. ✔️
jesus, you could eat your dinner between the space of those eyes, 3 course and cocktails
@@kiers8136What a truly mean-spirited comment.
Recently watched show on 5 that did a test that shows shelf veg and fruit have half the amount of vitamin content then frozen
Tomatoes in a can have lycopene, yes, but they also contain harmful bisphenols due to the coating in the can, tomatoes in a glass jar are healthier.
I prefer fresh tomatoes or pureed from cardboard. Most jars are impossible to open.
@@rebelraccoon9018 what coating was used in such a box and how does it react with sour tomatoes?
@@impm1164 the coating was just plain water. Sour tomatoes?
brilliant reply. i knew that but was wondering why she didn't mention that
You need to just buy BPA free cans...
Loved this.
Can't help feeling that I've heard it all before.
yes I always have capers in my cupboard!! 😂
What are capers even? Are they like olives?
Never without them - I love them
@@rebelraccoon9018 They are the pickled bud of the Flinders Rose bush that grows in the Mediterranean. They are similar to olives in that they are preserved in salt & vinegar. Also considered a fruit.
The middle classians do
Brilliant.
Wow.. GO EMILY! Super helpful info.. following you now on Socials :)
One question, so does freezing vegetables, fruit and bread increase their nutritional value?
sardines are a big NO NO for gout sufferers
I didn't realise freezing bread would help with slowing down blood sugar spikes!
It doesn't for everyone.
confident girl! Makes me feel old lol.
huh? what a weird response to what she said. this segment isn't about age or looks, it's about food.
Why would that make you feel old, don’t compare yourself.
and a met gala ticket cost £75,000 this year...
so, basically a mediterranean diet.
Should be recommending organic too, just a thought.
mmmm Kids love sardines lol
Please change your profile
If your fresh food is grown far away they’re already less nutritional at point of sale
She is beautiful wow
below average
@@ACXIAO666show your face, you must be an absolute stud if you rate her a 4 or below.
Freezing the bread.. should we eat it frozen or reheat it?
It doesn't work. I tried it with my glucometer. It's nonsense.
Freezing bread is a great way to store it anyway. Doesn't go stale or mouldy like if you leave it out. Put it straight into the toaster from frozen or heat it in the microwave if you're making a sandwich. Always tastes as fresh as when you bought it
The resistant starch thing just doesnt work. Several people on youtube have trued it and my nlood sigar shot up for hours after eating potatos cooked cooled and cooked again.
Have you tried potatoes isolation and with fats and proteins ? Really interested in the difference
I can't eat potatoes at all. I was prediabetic and given a diet sheet that I followed and made it worse and I was just tipping into diabetes. Since I've stopped eating veg and gone carnivore my blood glucose is normal.
Don't know about potatos but it has been proven in pasta. I think they tested it on reheated after frozen pasta though, so maybe that's the difference. Not sure it works the same on just 'cooled' then reheated and in the testing i saw, they didn't try potato.
Is that Cat deeley?
Funny i watched videos about how bad for you tinned tomatoes are so stopped buying them 😅can’t win
Its still a million followers though… combined lol😂
Yes. They'll carry on eating themselves into bad health.
People need to learn a bit from her lol. Too many people out here going on holidays, wearing pointless expensive clothing or own designer bags, spend money on cigarettes or vapes and on alcohol and take-aways and then complain about cost of living and talk about struggling to make ends meet 😂
Not everyone can be as perfect as you 😄
Plenty of people dont do this and still struggle .
wow tell me how privileged you are
@@brolly2612 you might want to Google the definition of "privilege" if you think that applies to me😂
@@Rise-and-Shine333 Would it be safe to assume a entitled boomer that was given everything growing up and took it all away from their and other boomer offspring as adults ?

I had an amazing teacher for Design and Technology, and he actually proved with a colour wheel showing the contrast of Heinz blue label and the orange beans, that the reason for it's modernly success is because the packaging increased the vibrance. I'm saying this because the woman said tinning improves colour, but I don't believe this.
'Superfoods' is a nonsense term. Can't believe these people are allowed to patronise the public like this
no it isn't a nonsense term. lots of people eat junk.
@@biegebythesea6775 Well then, anything that is not "junk food" is a superfood. I'll even go as far as saying that any whole food grown in nature is a superfood. She does miss the whole food point.
Great way for the price of food to increase is to call it a "superfood". 🙄 And no, these ingredients alone could not "save your life". Such click bait drama from the media & this chick who thinks she knows so much. 🙄
Firstly…….How long has she been a nutritionist and more importantly an “influencer”?….Secondly….no mention of how much quantity is needed and how long do you need to eat these products for….before you get the full benefits….like most foods you need to keep them in your “daily” diet to be beneficial anyway.
Grumpy
Anyone that has a brain knows what foods to eat. Just make sure everything is whole food.
But keep an eye on fats from meat and dairy for low cholestrol.
grow up
Yup, in most cases when people say "this has been proving to *insert health benefit" what they dont tell you is that in many to most cases.
A, it's only in some studies and the general meta analysis doesnt support those findings yet as a whole.
And
B, there is a daily effective dosage of said micro nutrients in said findings which 9 times out of ten far exceeds what anyone would be eating in one day without supplementing it in some form of pill or powder over a long time period daily to get that same dose response.
C, the effects/findings are extremely minimal even at higher doses and only in some subjects.
She has a bsc in nutrition from kings college. She shares recipes, she isn’t really an influencer.
A quick, cheap, and highly nutritional meal based on these principles: puttanesca.
Tinned tomatoes, with capers, olives, and anchovies. Takes about as long as the pasta
Lots of use of the words associated and suggested cardiac health benefits but sadly not any proven evidence. These influencers should not be taken seriously and viewers should only listen to scientists who have done research and are on top of the latest research. Some of the foods she mentioned have negative effects on health, example tomatoes are high in lectins which cancel any benefits she mentioned. Main advice from experts is eat less processed foods including tinned products.
she's a fully qualified nutritionist with a degree from King's College London actually
@@yvonneadebola5407 I dont care where she's been educated she should not give false advise w.r.t. heart heath because shes wrongly mentioning benefits which are incorrect.
It’s important to note that almost every food has a negative side effect. Canned, frozen and dried food is going to be better than processed fast food. It’s important to eat fruits, vegetables and organic meats and eat until you feel full. Unlike processed fast food the benefits of these foods out weigh the negatives. So any chance you get to switch out a Big Mac with a homemade burger with olive oil, organic meats or vegetables and salads 100% make the effort and enjoy the process! ❤
Just putting it out there, Cat doesnt look attractice she looks like a ...cat 🐈
I don’t think it’s responsible to market fish as healthy when fishing is actually destroying the oceans
Let's all stop eating fish shall we? That will solve the world's problems
unfortunately she knows nothing about real nutrition
This is just showing what an average person could eat if money is tight. Not everyone can afford a ribeye steak everyday.
@@stevenbrown6593it may taste good to some people but do you honestly think rib eye steak is nutritious and healthy? Oh dear... If money is tight then buy some rice, beans and fruit.
@@rebelraccoon9018 No idea what you are on about. But yes steak is healthy but guessing how you're acting you're a vegan which would explain some stuff
@OP its true she doesnt
@@stevenbrown6593 I'm not a vegan but I eat rice & beans even when money isn't tight. It's tasty & good for you, (as long as you aren't eating the sickly sweet beans on toast that the UK folks like to chow down on).
"If it's fresh, use them quickly" about vegetables 😂 Is that not just common sense?
Who knows how long they have been sitting in the shop or on the transport truck though?
@@AellaMaude I meant it's common sense to use fresh fruit and vegetables quickly compared to frozen ones.
Cat looking terrible🤷. Deffo not looking terrible for goodness sake. However jury is out whethershe is good for This Morning🤷
Rude no nasty comment.
..nothing new😖
Nobody should be cooking with oil. Olive oil for example becomes a carcegenic when it reaches its smoking point. Canned food is full of excessive salt, which is used to preserve it. This kind of salt is why peoplw have blocked arteries. People should also not be eating bread due to it containing gluten.
All good! Until you read the ingredients and find all carcinogenic ingredients added to these foods! Thanks!!!🎉
She lost me at tinned sardines. 😖The oceans suffer from overfishing enough as it is and not to mention all the microplastics in fish. Fish lives matter✊️
Say you don't have a clue about nutrition without saying you don't have a clue about nutrition
@@gregross2532am literally a chef
@@rebelraccoon9018found the vegan tree hugger 😂
Where's the meat at? We need beef, liver, organs. Those are the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. Beef dripping is healthier than olive oil too. Vegetables are a poor source of vitamins, frozen fruit and vegetables are disgusting, they have preservatives in. When you look into things more, you understand
Hello, very interesting what've mentioned. Yes, my grandmother always cooked with lard as well back in the day. Not sure which one is better / healthier... and what to use instead or where to find better source of vitamins, vegetables, and then frozen fruits? ( as got lots of intolerances to supplements - of "vegetables are a poor source of vitamins, frozen fruit and vegetables". ... - as on cannot always buy and eat fresh food everyday. Thank you. All best.
Canned tomatoes? cooking with olive oil?.....This woman knows clearly knows nothing about health
She doesnt really know much about true health, do better GB News
Cat Deeley looks terrible for her age of 47 thats where Smoking all her life and drink gets you
She actually looks exactly how a normal and healthy 47 year old woman looks.... your concept of ageing and natural beauty has just been warped by the internet and celebs...
right😂
@hanaowens5988 Erm no she doesn't. Im 42 this year and look miles younger than my age. Smoking and too much drink can do this to your look
Yeah ok , Mr faceless TH-cam person. Assume you're walking around looking like Cristiano Ronaldo aren't you
Cat Deeley looks great . Why make such a nasty remark ?
