MRD is actually considered 1.5 print (somewhere between glossy and wavy). Glossy is repeated in 1st edition SDK Blue Eyes, and wavy is repeated in certain rare unlimited versions of SDK Blue Eyes

Question: Why is a light base set pack worth $200 when the most valuable non-holo you can pull from it is worth only $5 ungraded? $5 x 11 cards is only $55 anyways. Are you paying for the chance of an error card? The pack art? Thanks!

IMO people who weigh packs are part of the collective issue with collectors. I refuse to pay for a "heavy " or "Light " pack. Not worth the FOMO. Plus then you are NOT guaranteed those cards will be in mint condition to be even worth grading..

It's largely because it has the 'sealed' premium. That's it.
If your goal is to collect the cards, you should almost always just buy the cards opened. Sealed vintage demands a premium simply because it's sealed. Having vintage sealed packs is a collector's piece just for the art/booster packs/boxes themselves.
