the charcoal not turning into graphite is something you find when making smoothstone, the mod considers the charcoal an "output" item and makes it immune to the process that made it, it needs to be removed and added again to the blaster to count as an ingredient.

if you're fed up of searching through chests but don't want to organize them, there's a mod called find me. it's a pretty simple mod, where if you press a key (default is Y) while hovering over an item in your inventory or the JEI list, it will point out all of the containers that item is in.
2 things, I think that charcoal not going again is a create thing done on purpose, I think it's to stop recipes from burning after being completed already. So that's why it doesn't work, its cooking counter doesn't start ticking up. Also in case you didn't know that netherite upgrade crafting recipe is just vanilla. They want you to find it but not multiple of them because they're pretty tough to find

You can see this with pressing sheets as it goes to the side while the rest is processed. The fix is to have a 2 block long mechanical belt, a blasting fan on the side of the end, and a brass funnel accepting only graphite powder so it blasts twice then goes in.
15:12 you CAN automate netherrack pretty easily. When you crush netherrack you have a chance to get an extra cinder flour. You only need 1 to create a netherrack again, so you can create a looping machine that overflows the extra cinder flour.

I really love the concept. Maybe it should have a few more additions. I would love to see *Alex's caves.* If it's paired with *Immersive portals,* the train could actually travel through dimensions to make it a cohesive experience. No need to hop off the train and travel through a portal to get to the nether / the end.

You know what I think would be cool Shalz? It's just an idea, but what if you made another island in the style of Sky-punk and Steampunk? as if the island were holding a balloon in the air and around the island there would be pipelines and belts, and actually the island would be like a commercial airship that flies past anchored near your islands (you could have viligers there, for example). And you can appropriate the idea I don't care I would be honored to see it built. 😁

Shalz, I think there is an idea that would make your life much better and save food and fuel costs + some time: a portable workshop with the funny minecart-that-can-carry-and-place-stuff thing. I can't remember the name of it but trust me, it's epic.

just so you know shalz, that bulk blast thing where it stops after one is purely intentional by the create mod so you dont get smooth stone in your stone farm
For the cinderflour you can automate it by making the 100% chance flour into more netherrack and only using the overflow cinder flour to make blaze cakes
The charcoal 'bug' is probably intentional imagine you just put some raw iron to cook and then you forgot it and it stayed a lot more than it should've it'd burn(items that don't have recipe will turn into air from bulk blasting) and your iron is gone
btw the whole graphite cooking issue is actualy a feature. the point is that you dont get overcooked things like stone and such if it worked like you describe not only would you turn cobble to smoothstone which is a lot less usefull than stone, you also would have items burning up i believe and just kind of dissappearing unless im missremembering how that works
Dear Shalz, I strongly suggest the following as a solution for some of your problems. The current chaotic island's contents where you have some random chests and the Sky-map block are moved to your base. Then you replace everything on this island with an overpowered steam engine. Now, you build bridges in between every island for decoration AND to build shafts under it to transfer then power of the steam engines without having to use any water wheels. You can now also combine the island with a tree farm. That way you would not have to care about powering your farms anymore, would get a tree farm and clean up your spawn island. You would also get closer to a world design where every island has a dedicated purpose. I am also wondering if you could auto-mine the sky-map block with a drill and then transfer the items to you base. Best regards, A fan of your channel PS.: The writing style is satire.
Shalz, i had an idea that might help with the colection of the blocks of the block generator. A hopper minecart below the block. It will pick up the drops that fall above the main block. Hope it helps

You DON'T need to constantly drop items onto the depots to get them on there. Yes you can do it that way but you can also just RIGHT CLICK to put items on them instead of risking throwing them into lava because you'd rather throw them with Q than right click.
i hate it when youtubers say "i made THIS with create!" and then they have 80 addons installed and the process requires crafting recipes from 6 of them
you not right-clicking the items into a depo is kinda killing me, as you can do that and it will swap the items in your hand for the one's on the depo, aka you don't need to throw items on (just a tip though, good video as always!)

Remember, smooth stone is not equal to stone. I did that mistake once and bought 3000 smooth stone instead of normal stone on a server 😂
