Looks at Crim's deck, yep he's playing Grafted Exoskeleton. Richard's point of killing Crim first is correct. Kill the Counterbalance Infect player! Lol.
And here I was, thinking Seth would figure out Konrad does effect creatures dying; however, Konrad was turned into an Elk and Seth passed on ways to get rid of Konrad, in favor of draw power that didn't improve his position.
Christ, seeing Seth choose to draw cards for the sake of drawing cards instead of just recasting his commander (and draw those cards a turn later while also getting ahead in the game) hurt
It was a good game but it does show some of the limitations these kinds of formats can have. Not that its always a bad thing, but the board getting clogged up like this can be quite the pickle. I think the decks are interesting.
Seth: Tomer had to leave at the last minute so this week we have the triumphant... Me: Vince? Seth: ...return... Me: ... of VINCE??? Seth: ... of Richard! Me: ... these terms are also acceptable.
I feel like they need more time to schedule a game with Vince or Tom, and this was more like a Richard deck, Tom will refuse to play infect... But Jennifer could come back to play some root wolf's
Even though Sir Conrad was an elk, you should have been swinging in at Richard because it would've still counted as commander damage. Y'know, that silly thing you found irrelevant in commander for some reason.
hey i know it might be too late to ask but since its anything goes next week would any of you be willing to take the low deck number edhrec challenge and build a tana and kydele deck. It would be cool to see a version functioning at a higher quality than my budget list
on the morning of the day of recording Tomer played a game of commander online. He was playing mono-white, drew more cards than all his opponents and won!! He couldnt take it and decided to stop while ahead. #winningatlife
I like Konrad a lot and think he's actually pretty good in normal Commander. I have one and it's pretty fun. He's awesome with things like Mesmeric Orb and the Eldrazi titans that reshuffle your graveyard. And Mindcrank is just ridiculous with Konrad.
I'm glad I don't have to deal with Crim better known as Teferi in my okay group. Too many counter spell or Teferi style decks. Infect counterbalance players die first. Period.
So, how the boots work, is they give hexproof This means they can’t be targeted by spells or abilities opponents control But, Syr Konrad has already been targeted, and the boots only prevent future targetings (they don’t remove effects, only prevent further) So sadly for Seth, Konrad was an elk to stay
Man while I don't mind his personality that much (despite his constant whining of being targeted despite bringing the most hate to the table), Crim's deckbuilding is simply annoying and kinda unfun (for me) to watch
How come no one picked Syr cutious-route? ;P
Because he's OP!
It does always end up going back to the command zone when you cast it though
Looks at Crim's deck, yep he's playing Grafted Exoskeleton. Richard's point of killing Crim first is correct. Kill the Counterbalance Infect player! Lol.
I would swing Syr Elk every turn eventually they would have to block or lose to commander damage
You mean coman-deer damage XD
Agreed
And here I was, thinking Seth would figure out Konrad does effect creatures dying; however, Konrad was turned into an Elk and Seth passed on ways to get rid of Konrad, in favor of draw power that didn't improve his position.
hmm, do I take the answer, or do I take more card draw so I can draw an answer. hmmmm.
The answer's an answer but the card draw could be anything! It could even be an answer.
Saffron "Never Cast My Commander" Olive is skeptical of commander damage as a rule? Who would have guessed?
@55:30 Casting Hate Mirage targeting Archaeomancer seems really strong. Could do it over and over.
Although 4 mana draw 7 was too hard to pass by.
I expected to hear more , "ohh deer" punts, or "coman-deer damage".
Dam Oko how much damage he made to magic.
No wrath week. Lol felt like Crim's commander was an island.
Christ, seeing Seth choose to draw cards for the sake of drawing cards instead of just recasting his commander (and draw those cards a turn later while also getting ahead in the game) hurt
Doesn't matter, drew cards
Don't watch them for good play watch them cuse they funny
Seth is 100% the worst EDH player I have ever seen play the game. He doesn't even try to win. Why not just play Solitaire?
“Winning is for people that don’t know how to draw cards.” -Saffron Olive, 2019.
20:15 HELL YEAH SUPPORT FOR COMMANDER DAMAGE!
RICHARD is BAAAAAACK
EDIT: AND HE BROUGHT PEASANT COMMANDER WITH HIM!!!
"Dunk out"... seth, how you mess up "duck out". This is a straight up troll
commander damage is fine online where you don't have to keep track of it. It's a pain in the ass but it makes some strategies more relevant.
Seth's greed killed him

Crim is the Scrappy-Doo of the Magic TH-cam world.
Seth: Tomer had to leave at the last minute so this week we have the triumphant...
Me: Vince?
Seth: ...return...
Me: ... of VINCE???
Seth: ... of Richard!
Me: ... these terms are also acceptable.
why vince? It's not like he is that funny or good or creative.
I rather see Tom or Josh again.
I feel like they need more time to schedule a game with Vince or Tom, and this was more like a Richard deck, Tom will refuse to play infect... But Jennifer could come back to play some root wolf's
@@Big_Dai Josh? You mean Jake?
Even though Sir Conrad was an elk, you should have been swinging in at Richard because it would've still counted as commander damage. Y'know, that silly thing you found irrelevant in commander for some reason.
Debatable. The flip side of Elk'd commanders is that people really don't want to attack into you, so Konrad got to be a Moat for several turns.
hey i know it might be too late to ask but since its anything goes next week would any of you be willing to take the low deck number edhrec challenge and build a tana and kydele deck. It would be cool to see a version functioning at a higher quality than my budget list
Every week is Counter balance week for Crim!
This constant counterbalance and the threat of it really drags down the fun nature of these videos. The constant counters just isn’t fun every week
Meh, it’s pretty funny. Normally Crim plays it and then just gets targetted to death immediately.
on the morning of the day of recording Tomer played a game of commander online.

I guess I play in a beatdown meta, cause commander damage is the king A LOT
32:26 Syr Elk-on John 😂
Soft ban counterbalance...or crim.
No.
RIP Crim is gonna go back to his low land counts after that lol
Blessed Richard has returned
In the spirit of ‘Peasant’ maybe all commons/uncommons have to be like $5 or lower. Counterbalance-Top does not feel Peasant-like at all.
How are they playing commander online?
Big ol Nerd mtgo
Too much card draw towards nothing.. However the game was still very interesting and fun to Watch :)
why not pioneer commander?
I'm glad I don't have to deal with Crim better known as Teferi in my okay group. Too many counter spell or Teferi style decks. Infect counterbalance players die first. Period.
@@ashra8281 I started to play Zo-Zu when it started in my group. We all agreed to have fun and stop the people can't play magic decks.
Pls talk to my playgroup people swingin with 21 commander dmg all day
Peasant commander? So NO KALDRA?!
if he puts the boots on Konrad, doesn't the elk aura just fall off?
So, how the boots work, is they give hexproof
This means they can’t be targeted by spells or abilities opponents control
But, Syr Konrad has already been targeted, and the boots only prevent future targetings (they don’t remove effects, only prevent further)

Yeah it's not as good as protection
The logic is sound, ALWAYS KILL CRIM FIRST
I think every game should just start with everyone having an Elk. Just to be "en vogue", you see?
Counterbalance is bad in commander without repeating, instant topdeck manipulation. Change my mind
This was... rough
NO TOMER, GLORIOUS.
The one time Tomer brings a decent deck.. he doesn't play it.
He normally builds good deck just doesn't play them well
first! PRAISE YAWGMOTH!
Tomer Abramovici Tomer is that you ? OwO
bruh did you really build an infect deck and then have someone else play it lol
Crypt rats?
lilliana's indignation!!!!
Man while I don't mind his personality that much (despite his constant whining of being targeted despite bringing the most hate to the table), Crim's deckbuilding is simply annoying and kinda unfun (for me) to watch
Not a fan of endless durdles, Seth
Counterbalance + top + scroll rack = nope.
I rly cant watch mtgo vids for some reason XD
I for one love Crim''s Counterbalance shenanigans
