Overall compared to his early channel, he has improved on his trouble shooting and taking time to fix things correctly but it's the little things like this, that show us he still ain't all there lol🍻🍻
Been tinkering on a 1977 CR250. When we got that, it was gonna be a salvage parts bike. Motor not trashed nor is bike. Just lot of tlc to bring her back. No help right now so I got plenty of projects to tinker on, on my own.. love it!!!

Total rebuild of engine plus cylinder porting. I built mine to be a rider not a garage Queen. These bike are absolute blast to ride at the track. Thanks from Alaska
You should have just bought a coil for it instead of going threw all the trouble but I do understand that you do all this for the viewer's..thank you for your time and the effort you put into these videos..your awesome man....
I have a Honda xr80 I need to replace the rings and do a few other things. I have absolutely no mechanical experience though but I’ll mess around and see what happens 🤷♂️😂
That is definitely a nice restoration candidate. Great find. The 78-80 CR250s are very popular with the vintage racing crowd. You can find very nice plastic at VMX racing. Good luck with the project.
I’ve got an early 90’s ktm 2 or 300cc. The cylinder on its huge so when I found it at a bone yard nearly complete, I thought it might be a bigger bore (440-500). Complete rolling frame, motors complete (minus some random replacement bolts n nuts), gas tank, radiators (broken cap flange needs to be welded back on). You can have the bike and you pay shipping. It’s probably not as extensive as this build only cause the shocks are there but it’d definitely be educational. I just don’t wanna watch it rot out back. If u want some pics, it may be worth researching to see how much shipping is. It’ll definitely need to have the cases split and a full rebuild.
That’s a really good find, work your heart out on this thing getting it running real sweet and you will have a jem. You also should keep all the Honda cr250’s and have a collection of them.
I have the same bike 100% stock has about 10 hrs of total ride time it was give to my dad from my mom for his birthday it’s been garaged since day one I pulled it out a few hrs ago put gas in it kicked it 1 time and it started I am considering selling it but haven’t decided. Dude, when I first started watching your videos, there were so many negative comments and people just being genuine dicks... Now you getting mostly positive comments, you obviously doing something right, way to show the haters... Keep it bro.
This is an EXTREMELY rare 1980 CR250PD. The PD stands for Prototype Design. 11 were made and were ran by Team HondaFire out of Temecula California, but they were quickly banned after the 1980 Supercross series but before the Outdoor National Series as these bikes were effortlessly lapping the field... As a result the other manufacture backed teams were putting up a fuss. In 2017 one of these in about the same condition went for 1.2 million dollars at the B.J.M.A. (Barrett Jackson Motorcycle Auction)
I love it. I had a 78 CR250 on channel years ago and a guy from Australia emailed me and wanted to buy it before I even finish it. Well he payed me threw PayPal and sent a transport truck to pick it up. He said those bikes sell like hot cakes over there.

Notice how the stator cover has wider holes for the bolts to be able to change the timing, in case you get any timing issues. If i saw correctly, that flywheel nut was loose and you definitely destroyed the threads on of the cover bolts
