I find it really disturbing that security vans are dressed in the same block pattern as Police vans, almost as if they’re meant to give us the same impression that these security guards have the same authority as the Police.

But that Security van was a BLATENT ROUSE to look like one.

@@MrMongoose221 They get away with it because they have the words "security" on the vehicles. Conveniently ignoring the fact that people don't read the words until a long time after they've first clocked the pattern. It's human nature to go off the colors and patterns first. It's only if someone has a chance to study the vehicle will they see the wording. Scientists know this. Authorities know this too. But they assume that no one else knows it. So they come up with the cover story that the wording means it's not passing off.

I’ve said this on here before but Aa lot of the reason I look at your videos is because you keep your composure well and are not afraid to praise people when their attitude is ok. They have a job to do whether we like it or not and many of the auditors just seem out for a verbal fight. You are not afraid to stand your ground but use reason too.
I can understand the security calling the police, in fact in some ways I’d much rather they did that than overstep their own boundaries by bullshitting.

36:00 Magnox Harwell was the birth place of the UK nuclear industry. There used to be 13 experimental reactors on the 10 hectare site. There are now three left as they are decommissioned. So not a proper nuclear power generation site. More a science and research site. But because of the word nuclear it gets special treatment for no reason other than to make it sound extra scarey.

Challenge for you, PttP (unless you already know the answer): when armed cops turn up, what do you think would happen if you said to the cops: "I don't speak to armed police. Either put the guns in the car or get an unarmed cop to attend. I am terrified of guns, & will remain silent until either happens".
What do you think would happen?

12:35 Private road doesn't mean the public can't use it. A private road with gates on it is a truly private road. A private road is basically an unadopted road were maintenance of it is handled by the owner rather than the council. Many private roads are regularly used by the public. So it needs more than just a sign to stop people wandering down the road. One thing that would cut down the number of people using it would be that it's effectively a long drive way to a single business. But the moment there is more than one business reached by the road is the moment anyone can use the private road since no one has any legal authority or right to ask which business a person is about to visit.

    • @TheSadButMadLad

Anyway, I think he's wrong in stating which road is private and which isn't. Every single road on the science park is a private road.

    • @TheSadButMadLad
      @TheSadButMadLad ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@DavidJohnson-qo3xq Nope it wouldn't. s33 of the CJA 1972 is about the wearing of uniforms for a political purpose. However the term public place is used in many places in legislation. So it's a common term. And it's been backed up by case law.
It's basically anywhere where the public regularly go or where the it's been designed that the public can go when the location is open and accessible. So a corridor through a block of flats is a public place because the public regularly used as a short cut. A shopping centre and even a shop are public places when they are open. But the path to a hostel is not a public place because only hostel residents can enter the building.
So a private road is a public place if the public use it, for example it's not a dead end. And the public includes any delivery people, bin men, etc.
s33 of the CJA is just auditor's gaslighting the police. And showing that the police haven't got a clue about the law otherwise they'd correct the auditor. That they never do proves that the police don't know the law.

When the police turn up as a result of the security staff having notified them of PTTP's presence PTTP very skilfully handles them by avoiding giving them any sensitive information and correctly counters their attempts to gather data by referring them to the security staff that called them. As PTTP points out, they have been caused to attend by the security staff and if no complaint or allegations of misconduct have been made then they have absoloutely no authority to require PTTP to give them any details or indeed to entertain them IN ANY WAY.
This is an object lesson in how to deal with the police for if you give them an inch their predatory instincts will usually be excited by your compliant mannr and they will take a mile!
THIS IS THE WAY WITH THE REPTILIAN MENTALITY.
It is actually debatable if the police even have the right to involve themselves in any way at all since anything they would be doing in such a situation is actually 'ultra vires' (outside of their statutory powers).
They might say, 'no harm in asking', but nevertheless it is also true to say that, 'there is often harm in co-operating', with these pernicious predators who masquerade as heroes and protectors!
    Wisely handled PTTP!

10:40 Under what law does he think he has the right to ask for identification. PttP isn't buying some regulated product such as alcohol or a knife from the company. PttP is not asking for something from the company. He's not getting into any contractual arrangement with the company. So they have no right to ask him for his name let alone proof of ID.

And the guy claims he needs it in case the drone falls out of the sky. So how is he going to contact PttP with just a name. What's more likely to happen, PttP arrive at the reception when his drone crashes or PttP runs away when his drone crashes. You decide.

    • @TheSadButMadLad

And he gets very dodgy in asking to be able to take a photo of PttP. It meets GDPR regs in that permission was sought first, and the use was given too (only seen by security, yeah I believe that). But that was obviously a cover and excuse. And to keep demanding some form of ID when it was refused each time is just plain harassment. How the fuck is a photo going to help id PttP when the drone drops out of the sky. The whole thing about getting ID is like the police's fixation with ID. They think it solves everything when in reality is just ticks a tickbox and fills their databases with crud.

0:19 actually it isn't an unfortunate name at all. The world is run by occultists and in Egyptian mythology Isis was the sister and wife of Osiris. Isis and Osiris had a son named Horus. ISIS was a CIA psychological operation, hence the tribute to goddess of life and magic. (Ignore the acronym, that is misdirection).
