I sympathize with a lot of their thinking and agree with it too, but I don't quite get how Kirisame is acting out of character. There's a difference between petrifying the people on a foreign ship, and petrifying everything alive on your island. She can be ok with the first and not ok with the latter.
Moz has spent his entire runtime playing with people because he just wants to have (his version of) a good time. I don't know why you'd think it's suddenly so arbitrary that he toys with Hyoga for a bit, especially since he says himself he doesn't know how strong he is. You don't overcommit on an attack when you know nothing about how the other guy fights. Once he had the measure of Hyoga's strength, he stepped it up and took him out. And people have been doing crazy physical feats like crumpling metal doors all show. Hyoga could probably do the same thing, so that's hardly a good measure of whether Moz could take him out. Maybe it's because I know what happens next, but I found the bros take on this to be surprisingly irritating.
I just take times like this as a nice opportunity to see them be surprised as their expectations are shattered next reaction. It's always entertaining.
Its pretty funny when they think they know whats going to happen but have no idea how wrong they are. Also they randomly decide to focus on a flashback instead of the important events.
It is what makes them fun too watch that they can be so right and wrong. Its the authenticity of them having their own thoughts. Don't agree with the take on this episode.
Moz entire thing is that he likes to play with ppl, he was playing against Hyoga, he was toying with Senku and the others escape temporarely, coz he knows he can just catch them and kill them, also hes not desperate to eliminate them like Ibara is, hes playing with his food. Besides bringing out Hyoga as a Joker card actually worked, they escaped that little room where they would have died, its just that they basically tossed a squicky toy at him and entertain him enough to escape for a little bit longer. About Ibara, hes smart and cunning, but hes not a cult leader mastermind manipulator kinda guy hes basically the spokeperson for the Master, hes just drunk on the power he holds with that position. Also she wasnt even questioning the miracle potion being real, she was questioning the orders to let a man die on purpose and to petrify a large area, he didnt ''say do you dare question me?'' he said ''do you dare question the Master orders?'' coz again he thinks he holds absolute power over everyone and she did that coz as shown on her flashback, the current order goes completely against what the Master taught her and the other kids before. These 2 things are what led her to doubt Ibara's orders, the bit about nature in the flashback was more of a '''the monster could have been a bear with cubs or some shit, dont nuke stuff without checking'' extra bit teaching them to check stuff properly AND saying the petrification shouldnt be used to cover large areas so again, the important part about the flashback is the DONT USE IT ON LARGE AREAS And wecan even make the case that Kirasame hitting the boat with the petrification beam on orders from the master still makes sense for them, they are a island tribe and suddenly a huge ass weird boat shows up, they are not gonna take risks and send ppl to talk it out, gotta protect the ppl before they attack and they have a perfectly good way to do it. Kirisame is the one that uses the petrification beam, coz she can toss it precisely, thats it, Ibara can use it too, he just prefers if she does it, coz like they said, its risky, it sliek throwing a grenade, without a good arm you are gonna fuck yourself. About Moz not killing Ibara when they were down there, he cant play it off, remember, Ibara knew about his betrayal and warned Kirisame about it, he straight up told her ''Moz may be working with the intruders'' Theres no way she would have believed him, so she would have petrified him, gg
Couldn't Kirisame have turned against Ibara because she actually saw that the master was petrified? Previously she probably wouldn't have doubted orders because she didn't know he was petrified
The only illogical part is the moz should've just stabbed ibara but even that could have an explanation The one time moz tried to betray ibara, he was double cross when the team ran away and moz was always planning to kill them anyway. So any hope of allying again is off the table so he'll just side with ibara.
There's a lot of things that Dr Stone does right but, unfortunately, fights are not one of them. I feel like some of the battles of this series are the weaker parts. Lots of paused time for talking and explaining, loudly discussing plans around people that shouldn't be hearing them. Personally, I let those moments slide because "anime logic". It works for moving the scene along. At the end of the day, the cool parts of Dr Stone, the joy and excitement of what science and humanity can accomplish and do, outweighs the bad and illogical bits. Still my favorite series and still glad you guys are enjoying it. Even with its flaws.
In this case, I actually disagree, however all your critiques are right on the money for the final fight this season. Still an enjoyable watch, but especially with a device like the Medusa, it'd be nice if they tried to keep up the pace of the fight scenes.
@@souland3566 I have? I've read the whole series and the anime has been doing a wonderful job adapting it but I just feel that some parts aren't are strong as they could be. Doesn't mean I enjoy it any less. ^.^

Because she thought it was the order of her boss
But she also knows that her boss would never make such a decision as to petrify the whole island

Yeah they make wild assumptions way too often

Bros going to feel a bit silly next episode for their assumptions at the end.
This seems to happen a lot with them lmao
@@SpeedyCat19but i guess they don't mind being corrected because they're open minded

It is consistent because turning randos toomstone and the people you're protecting is much different
Couldn't Kirisame have turned against Ibara because she actually saw that the master was petrified? Previously she probably wouldn't have doubted orders because she didn't know he was petrified
I sure hope you will be open minded after hearing their explanation and the continuation next episode

@@Dragoniangirl It's hard for anime to fit all the dialogue into the scene but manga is easy since it's just panels
Wow stopping to explain a fight you mean like JJK does frequently but yall are totally ok with that huh 😂😂😂
