Speaker : Nouman Ali Khan - A bit about him
Nouman Ali Khan is the founder and CEO of Bayyinah. His first exposure to Arabic study was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he completed his elementary education. He continued Arabic grammar study in Pakistan, where he received a scholarship for ranking among the top 10 scores in the national Arabic studies board examinations in 1993. But his serious training in Arabic began in the United States in 1999 under Dr. Abdus-Samie, founder and formal principal of Quran College, Faisalabad, Pakistan who happened to be touring the US for intensive lectures in Tafsir and Arabic studies. Under Dr. Abdus-Samie, Nouman developed a keen methodical understanding of Arabic grammar. He further benefited from Dr. Abdus-Samie by internalizing his unique teaching methods and later translating his work into English for the benefit of his own students. Nouman served as professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College until ’06 and has taught Modern Standard and Classical Arabic at various venues for nearly 7 years with over 10,000 students nationwide. Currently he has dedicated himself to a seven-year-long project, of conducting a linguistic & literary focus Qur’anic Tafseer series in English. May Allah forgive all of their major and minor sins and raise their ranks in Jannah. May Allah allow us all to be reunited with our loved ones in Jannah. I lost my.dad 7 months ago to stomach cancer. He fought it bravely for 3yrs with a smile on his face always Alhamdulillah.
Anyone reading this please pause and pray to Allah taala that He grants him maghfirah and jannatul firdaus and raise his ranks amongst his beloved slaves. Every day without him is v.hard.

I lost my father few days back. He went in peace. Now its just me and my mother. My father was sick from many years, i knew the disease will take him away but when that day came it was much harder than i thought.
My brother in law died due to covid19 he was young just 33. May Allah grant him Jannah, may Allah give my sister & family strength & patience

Please make dua for my beloved grandfather mazhar saleem. I lost him on March 24 2022. He was such a jolly and person of strong will power. As I'm a child of single mother. My grandfather was my everything ,a fatherly figure for me since childhood he was my best friend. May Allah give him higher rank in Jannah Ameen and give us Sabar jameel Ameen.

My father passed away at the start of ramadhan 2023- now we’re at the end of the month- it’s almost Eid- I don’t know how to accept the fact that he isn’t here anymore. He always used to pray, he passed with the shahada on his lips and in the month of ramadhan- Alhamdulillah - this gives me hope that he’s in his a better place… but I don’t know how I’m supposed to live with it.

How are you all coping? 😭 I lost my dad 11 months ago and now I lost my 5 year old cat who helped me get through the toughest times, part of my daily routine. He’s been with me since he was a 1 month baby and I’ve seen him grow into a beautiful cat and I found him dead on the road 😭 so traumatised and I have the same feeling of grief again and everything reminds me of him
