😂lol that "WHY" clip! His accent! I had to rewind and laugh again. Great vid! Great edits! Yeah seriously sometimes i'm like "Bruh, where was your editor? Jotunheim?"
Oooh the tea ☕️ 😂😂😂I’m here for it! IF IT FALL IT FALL I love these videos because it helps me know what books to avoid or manage my reading expectations if I decide to read this book
I love these rants ❤ Especially because I remember hearing your reaction to these books over the course the year 🤣🤣🤣 Especially Amanda. I'd love a spoiler filled rant on Amanda 😂
The gifs 😂 The rants 😂 Pure Perfection 👏🏻 I was fully expecting Flight to be on this list and yes, 100% agreed! 🙃🙃🙃 “I thought I was over it, but I guess not.” 👏🏻
A Thousand Heartbeats was one of my favorites from last year and it’s funny how people either love it or really dislike like it. I watched Oceana’s and Carmen’s reading vlogs before I read it and they had completely opposite feelings. I was so curious about where I would land.
Wise and Beautiful TH-camr you did a really good job making this video I regret that I haven't read the books because maybe we could have a discussion.😀 A discussion with such a brilliant wise and insightful and good woman is an unforgettable experience 🥰.
Christian books with language...like, why? I totally agree about the higher standards in that regard. Was that a Princess Bride reference? Love that movie!
I totally get what you’re saying about the language in Rubble Born, I don’t think theirs anything wrong with holding something labeled “Christian” to a higher standard. God himself calls us, as Christians, to a higher standard. I’ve found a lot of Christian’s don’t have an issue using all sorts of language in their common vernacular, which is kind of sad.
OMG this is the first time I am sitting here and I don't understand something. I am from Germany so English is my third language. And I have googled but I still don't understand what you mean with secular? Can you describe with other words what that word means? LMao. So sorry.
Yeah, it just means it's not Christian. Here's the definition I found online: denoting attitudes, activities, or other things that have no religious or spiritual basis.
Wise and Beautiful TH-camr I enjoy your DNF's motivated by Christianity and morality 😀 . It's a sign that we are on the same side of the highest conflict that is the one for our souls and I can trust your reviews 🥰.
"I could've helped... But no one consulted me before publishing it..." TOOK ME OUT. 😂🤣
I snickered through this whole thing. Your rants are gold, girl! 😜😂
Hehe thanks!!
Mee 💀💀😂😂

Girl, how did I know before even looking it up, that Jotunheim HAD to be some kind of Loki/Norse mythology reference 🤣🤣
@@Celestria 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣cuz you know me!😄🥰

If I could remember the book better, I would give you all the ranting lol
Loving your edits Celestria👏🏾👏🏾💯💯🔥🔥 💜I LOVED this video 🥰💜
Thank you Chrissie!!! 🥰
Your personality has been coming out more and more and I love it. It must be the memes.
🥰
I love the meme additions 🤣🤣
Thanks 🤣

Hehehe 😂
poor 70’s kids😂😂 I did that to 80’s kids in one of my videos too😅😅
🤣 I honestly don't know what to categorize it as. Cuz it's not contemporary right? Or is it?
The Amanda book brings me so much nostalgia. I read so so many of those books way back in the day when I was a teenager.
The only other one I've read is Caroline, I don't remember the author. Did you have a favorite you remember?
Thank you for your honesty! 🙌🏽
Thank you for watching!!!
Loved to hear your opinions! Thank you sharing! I totally understand the feeling of loving the series until you get to the third book.
It's so sad how series go down hill so often 😭
@@Celestria right 😭

Oh I need to watch Carmen's video of it, I missed it!
@@Celestria oh, it’s a fun video! 😊

Thank you!!
I 100% agree about Christians not writing bad language in their books
Is it weird that your rant about the Flight ending really makes me want to read the series 😂😂
🤣🤣 then we could both rant about it

Any Princess Bride references were unintentional 🤣
@@Celestria4:21 reminded me of "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
Aw man, I missed such a good opportunity to use that clip! 😂
Also, my thoughts exactly about a thousand heartbeats … we already know this 🤣
🤣🤣 yes
Tahn was a book that was on my tbr but took it off cause I wasn’t sure and now thankful for that decision. Dry writing is not what I want to read
😬 yeah
I am HERE FOR THE SHADE
Someone who loves the shade as much as me 🥰
2:41 it’s the DNF at 70% for me 💀💀💀👀😅😅
🤣 it was a novella, so that's how I got so far!
The GIFS 💀💀💀😅🔥🔥👏🏾💯
I struggled through Set the Stars Alight😅. I was hoping to really like her, but she's just not for me either.
It's so sad, I wanted to like her books so bad, especially because the covers are stunning 🤩

It means that a book isn't Christian, and the book is worldy.
worldly, not exclusively Christian.
Yeah, it just means it's not Christian. Here's the definition I found online: denoting attitudes, activities, or other things that have no religious or spiritual basis.
Have you read Mark of the Lion series?
I read book 1 and skipped/skimmed through the other two. They were very well done, but not for me. Do you like them?

Spy family 💯the brother was creepy for sure 😂
😭
Amanda Dykes isn't for me either.
😩
The rose and the thistle was really boring for me too
It has such a pretty cover too. So sad 😭
Me too🫤
