There are soooo many. I want to read the whole Shattered Tales series if they turn out to be good. The Abandoned Princess and To Ride the Wind by Melanie Cellier. The Once Upon a Ryhme series. Most of the books in the Once Upon a Prince series. Married at Sunrise by Leialoha Humphreys, and Cinders, Stars, and Glass Slippers by Brittany Fichter. And there's more, but those are some of the main ones lol.

Looking forward to it!! I feel like any Little Mermaid retelling ought to have a beach town in it somewhere. Isn’t that where the prince lives? If I’m running out of time I thought of using a kids version of this story from the library and counting it for several prompts. If only Ariel played football 😂 Someone needs to write a modern day retelling of this where the prince is instead a famous sports guy!
Well that's what I was wondering. I wasn't sure if it had to be a town specifically or if the castle was by the sea, if that would count. Idk 😂
Married at Sunrise is set near the ocean so I was thinking of that too. The kids story is a good idea!
Wait... I am pretty sure in Pearl's of Salt and Sacrifice by Everly Haywood, that in one of the underwater scenes, there are some kids playing some kind of game....let me try to find that and I'll let you know 😂

Guy booktubers are rare to begin with and Christian guy booktubers are almost non-existent lol. I know Faceless Book Reviews reads and reviews Christian books sometimes, but it looks like mostly secular books maybe 🤔 youtube.com/@facelessbookreviews?si=_bhydDKbFDs4w0HW

Subscribing! I love Fairytale retellings too. The Silent Prince starts off underwater... I read a little bit of it but wasn't feeling it at the time... But it would definitely work for the prompt (I am going to give it another go and hope I like it better then - I wasn't vibing with the MMC)... I am doing another readathon in July too but I think I am going to try to get at least a horizontal bingo .. probably the line with the underwater and the castle prompts... 😂

i’m in a horrible reading slump!! do u have any tips? i have the desire to read but when i pick up a book i wanna put it down after one page!
Here's my piece of advice: One page at a time will still get you through a book. You don't have to read it all in one sitting.
If you read a page, do something else, read another page, do something else... eventually you'll find yourself finishing. 🙂

Have you tried a different format, like ebook or audiobook? Maybe try different genres or something short, like a novella or short story? Or maybe re-read a favorite. And like Jaichbinhier said, don't pressure yourself to read a lot. If you can only manage a page at a time right now, that's okay and maybe you will get over the slump before too long.

I think some books that you might read can count for having a yellow cover. 🤔😂 if it has yellow on it, it can count! 😂

No, I know none of the other cohosts would care if it only had a little yellow on the cover and I'm always for twisting prompts as much as you need to make them work 😂
But I do try to fill the prompts the way they were meant to begin with and then I get more lenient if I can't find anything lol
