Ive been using framar brushes such as painer brush and highlight brush, it made a big difference compared to other brushes. I did lift on very thick hair and application was quick and flowless. I like your balayage sectioning 👍🏼
this is the best balayage I've seen! I'm not a stylist but I'm looking into techniques to try something different with my hair and this is the technique I liked best
This turned out GORGEOUS! Great job and great blending ! Can you upload a video on your sectioning please ! I feel like that plays a big part on the over all outcome. Thank you for sharing!
Alexsis Mae maybe for your next video you should post all steps to show how you reached the end result, and that goes for any instructional type video.
@@mytwocents27 maybe you can financially support her for her teaching services. Or you can go to Cosmo school and pay for it there and get hands on training. 😒
This turned out SO beautifully. I'll be using this technique tomorrow in salon but I'm a little confused on the front sectioning. I saw the money piece but what about the front sides? Zig zags I'm assuming but going back or forward or just horizontally?
Stood out to me. Don't they use it in porn industry? (and she never showed that part to demonstrate what she meant). So I guess it is for someone cumming on her hair LOL
Im running to Armstrong McCall tomorrow after seeing you use this brush!!! Bigger brushes have always been a little intimidating to me when balayaging bc I feel like I have better control with my smaller ones but you just sold me on this I think! lol Also just ordered a T3 blowdryer and their single luxe flat iron, Iv heard such great things about that company!
Great job every time I ask for somthing like this they do an obre smh . I don't want to tell them how to do hair but that's how I want my hair done in panels lime that .
What about the opposite side of the balayage... I noticed you touch the bottom backside with bleach. It looks like we don’t know what’s going on underneath. Doesn’t that create blotch and spots?
This brush is kind of like @prettylittleombre brush that she came out with except hers is more like an actual paint brush in the sense that all the bristles are together in the ferrule. This came out so beautiful!
Question: I never painted my hair before and my natural color is dark brown. Now I want to paint it with a really soft brown and do it a balayage just like this girl in the video. So, can I do all the same day or should I wait for some time between the hair painting and the balayage thing? Please answer:(
That usually depends on how much if a change you want & What condition your hair is in. You mentioned you want a brown tone on your dark hair. If you're only going up a couple shades, same day is great. If you're trying to get to a blonde shade, best to do it over a couple appointments; and that's if your hair is strong and healthy. Some folks get it done in a day and end up with a chemical haircut.
You are an artist my dear. It's not often you find a stylist that is an artist by nature. You did a fantastic job on your models hair. Watching you paint on the bleach was fun. Keep it up (and ignore the comments from the naysayers. They are full of sh**). Thanks for sharing!
Yes I use 9NB. If you’re a stylist then you know the hair you’re putting it on and the background colors that come into play and what color it will turn when using any shade.
This video was great. I agree with every word. And also...she can say what she wants and how she wants.....people are hyper sensitive-why are people defending a corporation that has no concern for whether you live or die?!?! Plus....if Sally’s closed tomorrow you wouldn’t give 2 shits- you all who are taking the sallys comment to heart need to stop acting like you care that much😄
Thank you so much! I’m not against Sally’s, I just only use professional color that is only sold to the pros. That my opinion 😉 I shop at Sally’s for other things!
Alexsis Mae I know exactly what you meant when you said it- I’ve said a statement very similar to my conworkers and we ALL agree that certain things need to be bought at certain places....I shop at Sally’s too..... to buy processing caps....😄
HairstylesByOna amen! Ughhh she didn’t mean it like she was above Sally’s at all, she as a professional just means that we shouldn’t buy non pro products. Well that’s how I took it anyways. We are taught at hair school to buy professional products too for our clients as it’s not professional at all to go buy non pro products for clients.
That toner. I’m not familiar with that product so I need to ask what level developer you would use with it. Do you use 10 volume or do you use a 20 volume?
Thank you! Using this technique I was able to give my sister a beautiful baylage ❤️❤️❤️
Your balayage technique is my favorite! It even looks awesome on straight hair which isn't usually the case imo.
FreePlay is a beast. Love this. Very natural and beautiful.

You are an amazing hairdresser. Thank you. Hello from Armenia 🇦🇲.
Omg thank you!!!
Sooo good !! I’m a cosmetology student and just tried balayage for the first time. definitely going to try this method soon !!!
I love the curling iron results, too--is the iron tourmaline? The results are beach waves--GORGEOUS!
I love your sectioning. I was searching for someone who did it this way because I was curious if it would work. Clearly it does!
That came out so beautiful and the technique was so simple
Thank you! I try to keep things simple when I can!
Que trabalho mais lindoo ❤ ficou perfeito e bem natural.

Arianna P usually diagonal back/zig zag back for best blending when hair is down or up ❤️
@@Nailtechfran hi! just wondering, did you mean that the front pieces are split diagonally and the back hair is zig zag? :)
@@FP-if5ib hate when ppl done respondd (especially when they answered once) :(
Idk why but it bothers me so much when people say “money piece” it makes me shiver
Haha we say it a lot!
Treedomm ha hahaha me too first time I heard it I was like eewww. Like a bright yellow gold tooth haha
Stood out to me. Don't they use it in porn industry? (and she never showed that part to demonstrate what she meant). So I guess it is for someone cumming on her hair LOL
Its fricken too much i cant stand it either lol
It's called a money piece because it frames your face aka your money maker
That color is great! And that curling iron is so chic!
Love my iron it’s the best! Thank you 😊
Going to try this on my new balayage client coming in now!!
Definitely going to try this on my hair.
@Sachi Ikuma I thought I was the only one 😂
The best by far 🥰
Awesome result i love it!
I love your enthusiasm.
Wow great job , I learned a lot with this video, tks Alexsis
Xoxo
@@AlexsisMae could you share with me some knowledge about hair cut tecnics if you don"t mind of course
Imma try this tomorrow 😊 wish me luck
Awesome 🎨
Who makes that brush?
This video saved my life thank you so much!!!!
I have been looking for this exact video!!! Thank you so so much. I will be doing this tomorrow on my client ❤️
Can you do a video about color gels vs shades eq? And how to use color gels? Thanks, beautiful results!
Hi! I don’t use color gels myself!

HeatherStylesXO omg do they sale them at armstrong’? I have a model next week and I’m excited to try other brushes
Girl I am going to Cosmo for this brush today! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
+carlymm93 you’re going to love it!!!
Preciosas,gracias🙏💕 por compartir🥰,, un like y nueva suscriptora🥰
Did you leave out chunks of her own hair on both sides?
Fantastic video!!!!
wow you have slayed it yet again

Love the Framar power painters!! So great! I have a question : what type of curling iron are you using here? Your work is so pretty!!
Thank you! I love the T3 curling iron!
Thanks for being so good at explaining! I have a question... you talk about teasing? Why this? What does it help and why don’t you need it always? TIA
Did you add developer to the toner
Hola soy de Uruguay...la proporción de mexcla de oxidante y polvo decolorante cuál es ??? gracias 😊
Ive uses paint brushes for years!!!
I think y'all harsh critics are just jealous she's come up with a genius method for bayalage!
Thanks for reall good tips !
I wonder how sort hair with bang do balayage. I hope I can watch video for it someday😆
very nice. those brushes do look fab. I thought kenra was your preferred lighter?
+Dante Velasquez I love the Kenra and Joico, I hop between them and love them both!
What about the opposite side of the balayage... I noticed you touch the bottom backside with bleach.
It looks like we don’t know what’s going on underneath. Doesn’t that create blotch and spots?
Romans116 no because it’s a clay lightener, it won’t bleed. the reason she doesn’t color the underneath but the ends is to leave dimension
This brush is kind of like @prettylittleombre brush that she came out with except hers is more like an actual paint brush in the sense that all the bristles are together in the ferrule. This came out so beautiful!
I have used free play before but I didn’t like it so much because I didn’t see color change, I was also working on dark hair
Balayage is a lighter movement of color and takes 45min on darker hair. But it’s not what I use on dark hair.
Love this
great video...curious if you've done any colorings for gray haired clients?
Omg you use joico😍 best product
+Melina Fr I Love this one and the Kenra one so much!
GOD bless you all. GOD loves you all.
how are you sectioning the hair? are you using like a brick layer technique or kinda just going for it?

Can you do this with box dyed hair?
Purchased these after watching your video. They are amazing!!
Btw, very helpful video and incredible work.
What’s the sectioning that you use in front of the radial?
This is just an ad for Framar you didn’t show sectioning or any info at all
How long do you wait with the toner in your hair before washing it out?
Where can I buy the Joico lightener
How do I balayage if I also want to cover up Greys!!?
Loved it!
Very beautiful, bravo :)
Can you balayage using boxed colour ?
You should call it mermaid like you said. I love salon. Do you really T3 tools? I see them around a lot lately ! Thanks for the video !
Looks beautiful
Love your work lady pretty well explained, love your professionalistm

Great job!!!!
Do you ever cover your balayages? Or do you prefer higher volumes when you want to lighten a couple levels?
+Belle Robinson I️ do. Just depends on the situation!
So what does the level of lightness have to do with weather or not your back comb the hair?
+LauraKat87 it’s a precaution to creating a softer blend. When moving drastic levels from the natural color. Just my preference.
Okayyy so real talk, is the T3 worth it for someone who isn’t a professional stylist? It’s soooo beautiful 😍 I need to know lol
If you are wanting a amazing iron then yes!
Have you ever just toned with Shades EQ 9NB? I'm just curious what that would look like on highlights.
Yes I use 9NB. If you’re a stylist then you know the hair you’re putting it on and the background colors that come into play and what color it will turn when using any shade.
Awesome work
+Diane Lowrey thank you so much 😊
Her hair would easily lift on 3% developer without the damage you create by saving your time on clients at the salon, like extra 30min..
Using a Balayage Lightener you need to Up it. I’m not creating damage, I know what I am doing.

How many ounces of Free Play do you use? I'm trying to figure out if I need to order a whole tub or just a 1 oz sample to try this at home.
So if this was done on darker hair you would of done the same method just teasing each balayage piece ?
+Danielle Zamarron everything depends on the hairs condition, their desired color, and What placement and method I️ need to take to get there.
What developer did you use? Btw beautiful balayage !
A coupe questions! How much volume did you add to the play clay? and did you like the redken Ph bonder? Thanks girl
It’s all in the description box 😽
Amazing!
Love it bravo fabulous !!!!!
Love it!
Perfect no one could do my hair like you did, they all want blonde hair from the root. 👍👍👍👍👍
👍 good job xx
That toner. I’m not familiar with that product so I need to ask what level developer you would use with it. Do you use 10 volume or do you use a 20 volume?
hew195050 Redkin Shades EQ has its own processing solution. It’s the consistency of water and it’s about a 7 volume. So a little lower than 10 volume.
Shades EQ is a deposit only...it just takes processing solution
Do you saturate the hair completely through on the ends?
Did you ever find the answer to this question . I was wondering the same thing
Do you tone wet hair ? If so is the toner and the volume together ?
Yes I toned on wet hair, and this is a two part color.
Thank you 🙏🏼
what about the underside of the panels ? do you also bring those up into a v shape?
Where can I purchase the Farmar brush?
have you ever tried redken free hand?
How long do you leave on the toner?
Great video, thanks!
very pretty hair
this is not matt graham its alicia olson his sister
Is balayage just blonde? I have a lot of natural red in my hair that I’d like to showcase
what happens if you don’t “ice out” the ends/paint the bottom too?
Quick question can you use a demi to cover white hair
Cynthia Lopresti demi and semi colors do not cover gray hair their either blend or don’t color it at all depending on the brand you use.
Alexsis Mae yep. Used kenera with 10 ,for 50 ,,min. It blended but my whites still their ugh
Upward damages the hair?
you guys need to check EuqinaD channel , nothing wrong to have products from Sally's and laugh about it .
Where is your salon located im very interested in going
I’m in Costa Mesa, CA!
Do you do thin sections? I see you’re only saturating the top so I was wondering if you could explain that to me?
It's to create a natural sun kissed look. Saturating both sides will give a drastic look.
1:40 I was wondering why you go upward motion
Just to soften the line in soft strokes!
