Did the cockatoo cichlids get aggressive when they have their eggs and babies in the tank with other fish? I have a moderately heavy planted 55 gallon tank with lots of different tetras, rasboras, goldfish. Red cherry shrimps, and a L104 clown pleco.

They can do female Apistos are very territorial when they are spawning
Btw are those some sort of baby cichlids?
They are dwarf cichlids, specifically Apistogramma cacatuoides fry.
Can I keep shrimp with this species?
Keith Johnson yes you can. but for your info, apistos will be eat small shrimps.
