What a strong washer, you could hear it in the motor. New washers can’t hold a candle to this one.
I remember the NORGE WASHERS having a half neutral drains and spin draining the remainder of the water and suds.
Cool. Our camper trailer has a Magic Chef propane stove/oven and a Magic Chef 900 watt microwave. I didn't know they made washers too. This washer looks like it washes very well. Good movement.
Great rollover action... wish they would make these again...
My grandma had a maytag proforma it looked and sounded like that one.
I miss the maytag proforma my grandma had it didn't have a cool down on the perm press cycle
Excellent turnover of the clothes. Wouldn't expect anything less. Too bad this is the last video :-(
I might be doing another one actually, I'm planning on buying some Gain Flings and Gain Fireworks and I might do a video on them in this machine and one or two others
This washing machine will out clean any washer made today especially those HE washing machines.
thanks for another uploaded video!

Was the magic chef direct drive or belt drive? I’m looking at buying one and won’t to know if you ever have spin out issues of shaking. I know magic chef got bought out around 86 by Maytag and I’m looking at an 89 magic chef that I’m hoping isn’t a Maytag I think it’s a Norge it looks just like this
this one is a belt drive, it isn't mine however my grandma has had it for at least 30 years or so without an issue. the only thing that's ever gone wrong with it was the belt started squeaking intermittently sometime in 2020
@@DaSamNudge thanks! The one I’m looking at only has two knobs one is for water level and the other is the large one with the cycles and the water temp is listed on each. It looks just like this one but I think I might grab it cause I think it is before Maytag got their hands on them the agitator dog looks just like this
When your bored in quarantine:
It almost reminds me of Norge / Montgomery Wards. Never knew Magic Chef made washers haha
That One Ford Guy Norge was bought out by Maytag in the late 80's. These were manufactured under the Maycor name all washers bearing this design in the late 80's into the early 90's like this model.
@@Channel-cm7yc Repairmen used to call these washers "Norgetags".
Montgomery wards is the same machine as this.
Muito bom! Faça videos de lava louças também.
I just
it would be cool if you could put a montgomery wards agitator in this washer, the one that sprays water out of the top
To bad washers are not the same anymore
why is the agitator tilting to the side like that??
The whole tub tilted, not the agitator. The washer legs ain't level.
