- While Terraria 1.4 re-worked on some of the textures, and they all look good, but the game also allowed as the usage of "texture pack"!... not sure why did it take... 9 years? But here we are, offical texture pack!... I guess. probably it was allowed before that, just now we have some big button on the title that says "texture pack", and that's it... Some are good, while some are... "good", for destroying your mind, once again...

I promised to do this on discord, for like, month ago?... but I wasn't able to find some... "good" texture pack, so I waited some more. And here we are, some video about texture pack. I mean, there was nothing that I expected, but still, something unexpected is better. Chinese texture pack was expected, but "memory test" pack... Why does that exist, who did that, what was the reason behind of it, is it really worth the pain??
Some of them, like wall of guide is... just, amazing. nothing to say... wonder if Terraria 1.4.1 would bring something better to the texture pack, maybe with browser, but well, steam workshop is expected to come out... at some day.... probably going to take a while to see that, but wouldn't it be a Terraria 1.5? ah whatever.

It sounds great, but not exactly a good theme for regular ol' Corruption. There's nothing crazy about corruption that warrants such a song.

The deal with the Calamity texture pack is that since Calamity items have such a different art style compared to vanilla Terraria (drastically more contrast, for instance), they made a texture pack which redoes vanilla textures in the Calamity art style.

Hiya, justa friendly reminder that the Calamity Texture Pack forum is very outdated - the discord server has the latest update! Oh also, the goal of CTP isn't to replace vanilla sprites with calamity textures, its to change vanilla's sprites to sprites of the calamity standard. Sorry about the confusion!
Anytime I hear a discord sound I have a near panic attack of “OH GOD SOMEONES SUDDENLY TALKING TO ME” and when you pulled out and used the rod of discord with discord sounds, that happened.

Hey cool you showed off a pack by ArmyFrog. I was part of his original terrafine project, but after a while he cancelled it. Terrafine was meant to a handmade upscaling of all the standard 8bit textures (they are actually 16bit but they made each pixel 2x2 giving the look of 8bit) we were going in and manually reforming the 8bit style into true 16bit textures while trying to keep the original design while also making the textures actually look good. (There are packs that just used computers to upscale the textures but they don't come out as clean as we were going for.

Windings wasn't created as a font for typing. It was created to make it easier to use symbols on Microsoft Office apps like Documents. Also, they changed the font because if you type nyc it would just be random symbols and people thought it was a terrorist threat. Nowadays it'll show up as I♡NYC

The calamity mod texture pack is something you can get for 1.3 (tmodloader) if you figure out how texture packs work.
I use the calamity mod texture pack (in modded only though) all the time.
That's funny that OVERHAUL corruption during autumn can scary some kids in that illogically funny game

and just put the textures there,
my mod is about bosses being flags,
