@@manuelap.mulondo I’m so much in love with your story and love every step of your success! Keep going, and especially since you have a husband who supports your success. The sky should not be the limit as God as long as the Lord remains your tower.
Manuela's story is very touching. When you have faith, God will always make a way even when there seems to be no way. Manuela, you are anointed and a great role model to all.🙏
There are shows I wish lasted longer. These personal ones where we connect on that intimate level are among them. I love love love this show glad it's growing day by day.
Life can give you 10 children and still take them away from you, life can make you barren or not want children and still give you amazing nieces and nephews who might be like your own.
This show has a nice blend of difference. I like how every woman on this show is different and yet represents a particular woman out there. We appreciate your dedication to doing this. Blessings.
Hello from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA! I've been a fan for about 2 years. Pumla's perspective on becoming a mother and parenting resonates with me so much! I agree that motherhood is so romanticized. I'm a mother to a two year old girl and she so awesome but the thought to have another one is way too risky for me mentally, physically, and emotionally. Even if the 2nd child is great the exhaustion is so unappealing to me.
Rosette and Manuela your stories resonates with me, Indeed having gone through some experiences in life working hard is no longer an option. Thanks to all of you for sharing your story and I feel like am going to be a great woman and mother when the time comes. Stay blessed.
All of you ladies are fantastic... Angie 's feminine energy is on another level... even the way she talked pumla and Manuela on another level.... Rachel and Rosette are very calm....love ,love all the way from Kenya
I am watching this one year down the road, and I have really enjoyed listening to you ladies. You are all special in a unique way. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your stories to the world.
OMG i never knew theres a woman who thinks exactly like me all my life i have never had the urge for children even as ayoung girl, i have a daughter and am so conteted and fulfilled with her. I wish society can make peace with this because its entirely upon an individual to have one or more... I felt like giving you a hug Pumla much love ladies
I'm sure there are many more like us lwakuba society doesnt allow them to speak what's really in their hearts. Women fear judgement yet happiness is key. Tofaayo Angie. One day - We will hug! P
Pumla you rock. My sister from another mother. Yes l wanted children. l have 2 like Manuella but there is nothing in this world that can take me back to the labour ward. You talked about financially, mentally and emotionally. being okay with it. Oh my my many people say mbu omwana akula. Says who? If you are a hands on mum like me and Pumla, you are constantly planning. Truth be told raising children takes aloooooooooooooooooot. So when people ask me some questions l tell them l want to give my children a chance to have a better life than l did, That costs money and time to mold this individual especially in their dependency years. That's alot of work. Meanwhile as an individual you want to succeed at other things too. This is hard with many children and marriage. No one has that mental space unless you just want to be mediocre. In Africa we also have to think about looking after our old parents. I love my body too. I cant imagine having to go back in shape multiple times. More so l don't want to blame my children for my bad body shape. They also ask me what l would say if hubby wanted more children. My answer always is that's so selfish. Even if you have 10 and he is the type who sleeps around trust me he will have more children. So l am not going through body toture again. Nope,. i could type an essay about this subject. i love you girls. One day we should do a bump love get together😀
Manuela and Rosette, your stories just make us praise the Lord and be grateful 🙏 I love the fact that you remembered each other after that miserable situation. I've learnt that no matter your childhood, it's up to you to have yourself out of poverty!

Now for the villagers, we were not aware of poverty. We were all at the same level. Truth be told I realised that we were poor after visiting Kampala. OMG village life is better than town life. We took porridge (bush) without sugar and it was fine. Food was in plenty. Farming and working hard was the norm. I appreciate you ladies.

Ladies, I appreciate you all for being vulnerable and sharing your lives with us. There's so much wisdom and encouragement I've drawn for Bump love. Pumla, thank you for being the voice for women who "do not conform to the norm". I am one of those women who are not good with kids. I have never had children and do not mind not having any but every time I share my thoughts I am judged. It's so good to find people with similar minds. It makes me feel more comfortable in how I feel towards child bearing.
Hey Tiny. I'm glad that this platform allows us to speak openly. Hopefully this can allow more women to share and not care about judgement. We're not good with kids and it's okay. I think as a society we have no idea what parenting and having children means... Bringing a human into the world and all that comes with it... We are playing alot with it.... We just take it fwaaaaa.... My God we need to understand the work...the heart the energy... The uncertainties... Pumla I wish you continue to speak on this... People need to understand that having babies is waaaaaaayyyyyy more than just for just
Maaaaaaaaannnnnn motherhood is romanticized and yet if you're doing it right, it's bloody tough. Ah ah! I released myself from that burden. Let's leave it to those who can manage. Hehe! I will continue to speak to this. P
To be honest I really love Pumla's hair now this has even helped me to clarify my attachment to my natural twists that I always do.Like there is always a way they work for me so Pumla I really understand.
Thank u Pumla for eloquently voicing the phenomenon that is motherhood. All of us are not all cut out for it...some 1 is enough, some it's 4, others it's a dozen and some none at all. Now,because human beings(women) are not a monolith, a word esp to judgemental society, women who don't have/don't want kids aren't aliens, they just exercised their right & power to choose their own destiny(my uterus my choice)... so just live & let live! Pumla talked abt how beautifully & generously different Rosette is from some other pple who might share the same story of a history of poverty, I think what makes Rosette who she is,is that she was not born in abject poverty, her family fell on hard times somewhere along the way but that didn't harden her heart. Whereas a person who is born in abject poverty & that's all they've known since birth...that person will not be very open to giving/helping...it's all abt them & their survival.
I do love her sister locks too. Especially the color she added. My journey started a bit earlier. But I paid based off the length of my hair. Best investment I have ever made on my body. It's definitely less expensive in the long run for us simple gals. This is for life.
I love Pumla's hair style. I tried to copy it yesterday and showed it to the one dealing in hair pieces but it ended up with some curls in it. It looks just right for her that I can't imagine her without it.
That statement that Pumla made of "I wish everyone could get to the point where they can laugh at their history"Is such a great point and I say Amen to it
I have bought Newman's before not knowing it's for you Rosette , am going to buy more ....Rosette I like your vibe , didn't know you are into sales , oh gosh u r hardworking indeed . Love you Rosette
wow Pumla, that was a real raw and honest answer you gave about motherhood! It is romanticised ALOT and soceity tends to shy away from the harsh realities of having a child, raising one, etc. Thanks for speaking out, I applaud you. P.S My sis is EXACTLY like you!
We need to be honest about our fears and not let society force us into overcoming some of these things because they are valid and legitimate risks. Hugs to your sister. Mugambe it is okay. We are okay. P

this was a great show... Pumla, you are truly my spirit animal. The answer you gave about number of children to have. I don't understand why people always have to question a woman when she chooses not to have children or only have "very few"
Rosette thanks for being Open I enjoyed your story today. Wow wow Manuela your beautiful story no wonder I resonate with you. That's my story too. I live abroad and I still look back and I can't believe how far we have come. Beautiful.Girl that was emotional
Waaoo, what can I say? This was such a unique episode, love ,love you ladies, learnt alot from you,be blessed n keep going. Kindly make the episodes just as long, they're so enjoyable n very educative. Thanks once again.
I listened to Pumla saying motherhood is rationalized as emotional but it’s not and I cried😭😭😭It’s up to you the individual not even your husband…..My life has never been the same and i guess it will never be the same….You are the only one who knows what you are feeling…..I pride myself in motherhood but when I remember the dependency on me it’s not emotional at all Above all God alone knows the plans he has for us But also the feeling of the outcome of the child will tell whether I wasted my precious time raising or not These are the things that dnt make motherhood emotional
Hugs to you Pennah. We are all just trying to mother the best we can. That's really all we can do. May God be kind and reward us for being the custodians of his children. P
Manuela you're my everyday inspiration. Coming from neighboring districts(i.e Westnile) Have related with you in alot like absolute poverty background of being raised by our hustling single mothers and then fellow MWF alumni though we haven't yet met in person which I'm so looking forward to. Your hustling spirit is my everyday reminder. I love love you my girl. We are not going back to that poverty at all costs.
I think as women we love looking good and so we waste lots of time looking for which hair style, how should I change it next time, but thank you Pumla and Racheal for resting our case.
Amazing stories...actually realities..The hard working bit hits me hard, I am into this, basically working hard to have ends meet THROUGH the right means "As a 30yr old, hoping for Marriage soon 😃 " ... Thanks for sharing; the facts, the reality, then the jokes...Watching on...

Glad I found this show, I’m truly enjoying it! Learning so much and feeling blessed
Happy you're here 😊. P
I listened to Pumla saying motherhood is rationalized as emotional but it’s not and I cried😭😭😭It’s up to you the individual not even your husband…..My life has never been the same and i guess it will never be the same….You are the only one who knows what you are feeling…..I pride myself in motherhood but when I remember the dependency on me it’s not emotional at all
Above all God alone knows the plans he has for us
But also the feeling of the outcome of the child will tell whether I wasted my precious time raising or not
These are the things that dnt make motherhood emotional
Hugs to you Pennah. We are all just trying to mother the best we can. That's really all we can do. May God be kind and reward us for being the custodians of his children. P
Manuela you're my everyday inspiration.
Coming from neighboring districts(i.e Westnile) Have related with you in alot like absolute poverty background of being raised by our hustling single mothers and then fellow MWF alumni though we haven't yet met in person which I'm so looking forward to.
Your hustling spirit is my everyday reminder. I love love you my girl.
We are not going back to that poverty at all costs.
Thanx for the show. Been encouraged so much. Live,Love and Laugh
