Really competitive price point. Pioneer were very deliberate with this one and they're going to sell a lot of these. Same price as the 1000 with a crap ton of new features...yeah, this'll do well. Your best review to date. You can tell you're putting serious effort and thought into how to create these. Hell of a job.

First off, that intro got me in tears! I just got a FLX-6 white in January that works amazing so I'm not in the market for this but loved the review. I also was strictly Serato but after I started messing with the Rekordbox interface, I couldn't go back. Keep up the great work 💪🏽
The stache on the Serato guy was beautiful! The Bass stem in Serato is the one I use the most besides Acapella and Instrumental ones. I love just being able to swap the baselines instead of using the EQ which then effects the vocals.
I woke up this morning and checked my email and saw they dropped this board, and immediately rushed to order it because I've been waiting two years now for the ddj 1000! I watched this review after ordering it and am happy I got it. 10/10 review

I'm not sold just yet on the FLX10, but I think it's a much better upgrade for anyone who is using the DDJ 400 or FLX4. Skip the FLX6 altogether if you want to upgrade. -For those who got the cash to burn for the extra buttons and features they might not use, go for it! 1000/SRT to FLX10 is slightly forward but still a lateral move. I don't think a lot of people will jump on the FLX train right away.

Also congrats with having a Pioneer relationship! I thought the company was a little upset with you a while back! LOL! As far as the new controller, I like the leaps forward these companies in general are making. I need a smaller setup and was deciding between the Rev 7 and Rane Four. Several reviewers hinted that people should wait until NAMM for more announcements. So this must be the mystery surprise launch. Decisions... decisions.
NOW… I’ve been checking this controller since I first heard about and even had a chance to test drive for 1 week being I work for Gc pro and I absolutely love this controller. To me It smokes the Pioneer rev 7 hands down actually had the whole controller down in one day !minus the motorized platters (which I love) this controller is the one for 2023 in my book
Dope review 🙌🏿🙌🏿 This is 1st pioneer controller that I don’t think is better than it’s competitor, Rane 4. But only cause I prefer the paddle effect workflow.
I’ve been using my SRT for the last three years and dropped it and had to order a new controller. I got the Rane4 and I am simply stunned at how good the build quality is and how solid and professional everything feels to the touch. To be honest, as much as I love my SRT, it feels like a toy compared to the Rane. Plus that four has about 1 million more features than the FLX 10. Looks like a great controller but I don’t think they can touch the Rane and I’m glad I got it

Great review definitely my next controller but it just sounds like functions that Virtual DJ already had e.g the stem eqs, and automix which I have been using on my Numark NS6 MK1. People may dislike VDJ, but they are ahead of the game when it comes to innovation and pushing boundaries.
Great review Nick! Love the size of the jog wheels on this thing. Wish it was labeled out for Serato though. Maybe a skin for it with Serato labels? I'll wait for now.

If soundswitch announces that this controller becomes supported as a hardware device, then it’s a no brainer upgrade from the SRT for me. Until then, it’s suuuper nice, but my SRT is treating me just fine
I won't say it's worth upgrading if you already have a DDJ 1000/1000 SRT but it sure is hell an awesome time to be a DJ. We have all sorts of toys dropping back to back. A lil something for everyone. Actually, all the heavy hitter manufacturers are making it really hard to make a decision when it comes to what piece of gear to go with. I'm not even in the market for a controller. I ditched the laptop years ago and have been strictly playing standalone mode but this and Rane Four make me want to dip my feet back into the controller game just to play around and have some fun
As a Rekordbox 1000 user I don’t think I’m going to upgrade. I’m pretty happy with my 1000. Sweet controller but I don’t think I’ll necessarily need all the new features for it. The Dmx lighting control on the controller is nice tho.
Definitely giving up on Traktor Kontrol S3 MK3 and Traktor Pro 3 software they are way behind the Stems curve and are adding licensed services to their software that I and others could care to use. So taking the plunge either with FlX10 and Rekord Box or Rane Four with Serato. Just as I say this Numark has now put out the Mix Stream Pro Go and Hercules has the Impulse T7 with the motorized platters. Yeah so many choices

Outstanding video production. Great script, smooth pace and so on... Obviously the review is on par with it.. thanks you. The only "bad" thing is that DJ's will need to pre-produce (carefully planning) ever mix. so for some it will be a time to learn about Workflow..
DENON user here. For 20 years. Mc6000, mc7000, Prime 4. And after failed play/cue buttons on both the 7000 and prime 4. I’m done. Matter of fact I purchased the prime 4 at Guitar Center for 2 gs. And added the insurance…..well it broke again and sent in to a certified DENON repair shop and they deemed it un fixable. DENON I’m out. This maybe my new wife! Pioneer I’m finally seeing things your way. The flx 10. Looks like the one for me.

😂😂 great intro. I feel the performance pad modes are definitely lacking. Especially for serato users. No scratch bank or slicer effect. Instead we get beat jump and auto loop which already have dedicated buttons above. But you do get pad FX which can help with layering of effects. I however wish they would have just taken the S11 pad modes and added stems like the Rane. Love the jog wheels tho. Looks like an awesome controller. Can’t wait to get mine.

Ive been mixing on the flx 6 around a year now not upgrading anytime soon but definitely will be considering the flx 10

Rane Four is a better controller overall. Better stems work flow. Can control Serato FX. Better looking. Better layout.
