Huckleberry Trail (15 miles)

The Huckleberry Trail is the result of a partnership between Christiansburg, Blacksburg and Montgomery County that provides a beautiful paved greenway for bikers, runners and walkers. Note...it is not a rail trail, there are hills!

hey dude, you are wrong about the trail. i have ridd'in it. It is a rail trail. thats how it got it's name. from train passengers picking huckelberries along the trail when it stopped for breaks.And yes its very hilly!!

The hats are DaBrims that fit on our helmets to keep the sun off our faces. We put the rail trail comment in to warn folks that they should not expect the long graded slopes found on most rail trails. It is a very nice trail and I’m glad you can take advantage of riding it regularly…and now you do the Mt Bike trails too! Take care!
