Power companies from several places were staged and ready. Fort Liberty/aka Fort Bragg is in NC. They have heavy equipment like they used with Katrina. They were told to stand down. In the last couple of days some National Guard has been in. Power companies from several places were staged and ready. Citizens, volunteers, businesses, and churches have been carrying the bulk of clearing roads, getting people air lifted out, providing water and food.
Glen, as a FEMA Reservist, I recommend everyone take the FEMA 100,200,700 and 800 courses. You will see just how insane it is. They are free and available on the FEMA website.

BlazeTV please look into the $750 FEMA is supposedly giving. I'm seeing dozens of comments saying the paperwork people are filing out says the $750 is a loan with property as collateral that has to be paid back within a certain amount of time.
A man called them and asked when they were going to come remove the bodies piled up against his house. There are bodies everywhere. Most will never be found as they are buried by debris and mud.
