Wow, the difference is real to the FH and the VNL. The last generation of the FH and the VNL was pretty similar but the new VNL is soo behind the newer FH. For example the key, that is an old controller compared to the euro-trucks. It's interesting to see the "over sea" model. //Squixxor, Sweden
I driving a 2019 Volvo VNR 640 but I miss my 2005 VNL 640. The older Volvo was much better quality inside, plus Cummins 500 was much cheaper to work on it vs. Volvo engine. Cummins has much better service network than Volvo.
My dad has the 2015 Volvo VNL 670 and I like it in my opinion. He also wants to keep the truck for his life cuz he doesn’t rlly need a modern truck. He got it in 2018 and he loves it
New volvo vs new cascadia, which one is more comfortable and cushy ride? And which one is less tiring at the end of drive shift? What about the steering feel of both. I have never driven volvo and cascadia steering is hard
That you're absolutely right about. I used to own a Freightliner century from 2002 to 2006 in 2006 I decided to buy a new w900 with a studio sleeper and I have never gone back, in 2017 again I bought a brand new w900 with a studio sleeper and I will definitely not be going back to Freightliner or Volvo anytime soon. I just prefer the classic look of the w900, yes it burns a little more then a Volvo or Freightliner but it's worth the comfort and the look. I couldn't even imagine going to a Volvo or a Freightliner after driving w900 for the last 14 years.
Being Slavic just like Rusty i can tell you there's this odd dislike for kw/Pete within the Slavic community. I guess some of it is the cost, but a lot is just the intimidation of how long the frames are... As for me give me the 379/389 any and every day, can't stand the Tupperware trucks.
No truck payments for the last 9 years! I don't care how the truck looks I only care how much I can make per year. 2006 with the D12 engine and 13-speed manual is a real money maker and that's what I need as an owner-operator! Even the company's drivers don't like the new trucks because they sit a lot at the service shops waiting for injectors replacement or the engine derates to 5mph for DEF problems. I never replaced a single injector for the last 1m miles! I am planning to put another 500k mile on that truck before thinking for something else or will rebuild the engine and keep rolling. So the dealers will have a long time to wait for me while I visit them. :) Then after 4 years, I can buy your 2019 truck for $34 000. Good Luck! :)
@@sparkyak213 No I am not. It's difficult to find good trucks right now for cheap price. I buy another Volvo truck just before the prices go up. The other truck still driving good.
Cool trucks, both of them. Did your brother-in-law take a vacation, or is there is a slowdown in transport-demand? Just curious, because you mentioned the 2016 truck hadn't been driven in a month.
Allways here to take a trip wit ya I tell ya this if ya ever get to newhampshire and want somebody to take a trip wit ya I'll go lol allways enjoy going places bud but anyways allways enjoy your vids ..and will be here for the next ..so be safe and godbless
The 2007 Volvo VNL 630 mid roof is my favorite because I love older body Volvos and I love the 630 because its not too big and its not too small its a good truck for trucking and personal use which I'll be using mine for personal use like camping, daily driver, and alot more stuff, but mine won't be a normal one it'll be a custom with LED light stripes on the sides and back, so the 2007 will look alot better than the 2019 or the 2020 in my opinion. Plus the 2007 is alot cheaper than the 2020, on Facebook Marketplace I can buy mine for $11,500 compared to the newer model which is like $30,000 to $100,000 depending on the dealer.
Новый трак в бомж комплектации, но классный донор для твоего проекта :) Прям бери и откручивай всё что нужно.:) What was the third truck in this video? A car hauler?
The last gen Volvo’s had a recall for the ishift a while back the trans is suppose to go into Neutral while breaking and re-engage once Back on the throttle. Well, sometime it wouldn’t and it would force the truck to keep rolling and fight against the breaks. And I guess the recall was issued when my dad has Lost his drive shaft because of it, and his truck sat for 8 months and became a lemon because it sat.
How does your bro have a 2016 truck with 200k miles? The new volvo interior looks really boring and basic, it almost has a sterile hospital feel to it.
I understand that you want a new cab for your truck but if you can make an older cab work on the chassis you have why dont you i mean for real you know for a fact that the motor only has like 20k miles on it but why not try and make it work
Look pretty much the same. In the end it's about making money with the truck bottom line. If I can take and older truck and clear more $$$ that's what I would do personally.
Thanks rusty, I have a 2013 Volvo right now with 1.3M miles on it getting a new 2020 Volvo VNL today
How’s that 2020 running??
Me personally I love the older 670. But the 760 is quite nice as well.

Do you have a video on how to install a fridge on the Volvo 670??
Those new Volvos have a recall out on the vent windows the glue doesn't hold the window so it falls out and breaks.
Vw did that to in all the cars
The new Volvo is dope

Seems like a waste of upper space in the 2019 without the top bunk. Should be more storage there instead.
You can get the bunk, just not with the base model

Your video is titled, “why Slavic people love Volvo’s “ but you didn’t explain why! You just talked about what you liked about the new v’s the old 🤔
looks to me that if you swap the good the old becomes the new. nothing much to see here other than a new hood.
What do you think about the Pro Star?

Rusty! no more new trucking videos? pls! more vids! im having withdrawals right now, trust me, from experience. HAHAHAHAH

Why is Volvo in America calling their trucks after something else and not like in Europe after the HP they deliver? So weird 🤔
Notification squad.... noise
Take the cab
Your rebuild take a long time on your track you should work fast
I'm lost out side of the the fact one is newer I'm not really seeing the diffrence just like a car yr to yr minor changes but nothing dramatic.
So why do Slavic people like volvo?
New one looks better. Automatic 👎
Well Sonny boy you'd be shit outa luck if you had to drive an old 22 White tractor or a cab over International with a 318 10 speed.
