It’s frustrating that every time Thanos shows up in What If, he turns out to be one of the easiest characters to defeat. They built him up so much over 2 decades in the movies…and in What if he dies 90% of the times he shows up. It would have been cool to see an episode of What if. Where Cable and Thanos have to fight (now that Deadpool is part of the MCU, and Storm showed up). Josh Brolin would have voiced both roles, and it would have been the perfect way to get Domino, Storm, Deadpool, Kidpool and Loki on the team with him to stop Thanos in this alternate universe. Ryan would have absolutely done it (and his daughter just reprised kidpool in a holiday fight cancer commercial). The episode could have even been about Thanos wanting to use the mind stone to place his mind in Tiamat because his plan to get the stones failed. That could have than lead into the Agatha episode (fun 2 parter to end the series).
@@JonathanMartinez-ei4up I think if the (WHAT IF…?) show, had more than eight episodes made for each season, then it might be possible for three episodes to involve an epic fight with heroes fighting against Thanos. I also think since the (WHAT IF….?) show, is an animated one, than it shouldn’t be a problem, for the makers of the episodes, to make 10-14 episodes for the Fourth Season of it, and same goes for more seasons of it as well.
They could do it even with just 8 episodes @@briandaleske5139. Season 1 had the overarching story with evil vision vs the guardians of the multiverse (which was technically a 2 part chapter close). 10 to 14 episodes would also be fine, but Disney has to approve the budget for that, and they are weird in how they decide what gets a budget and when. Season 1 was also a much longer season, but they took its extra episodes and put them in season 2. And one of the episodes from season 2 was in 3. But the series overall is being canceled. The trailer even said this was the final chapter of What If…? The show did very badly in season 2, but they had already started animating season 3, so they finished it and closed shop.

It’s not that hard to imagine actually, you don’t even have to look in mythology. The Platypus is a mammal that lays eggs and has a duck bill. Humans are mammals, and even though woman don’t lay eggs, the uterus, vaginal channel, and vag are designed to stretch. Baby skulls come out soft at first to make the birth easier (they finish hardening later), but if a woman’s body had to give birth to an egg that size it is actually possible. More than likely the egg would be soft like a baby’s skull or a snakes egg when being pushed out, and harden after to allow for the extra external incubation time outside the womb. But even if it was a hard shell, a woman’s body is extremely incredible in what it can do when squeezing out a baby or a baby sized egg.
I got a kick out of this character. And does anyone think that someone at Marvel Studios just really loves Howard the Duck but considering they thought of film probably wouldn't do well they just kind of made him the basically the Stan Lee Cameo guy for what if and then gave him a mini movie as an episode
Not an OC. She exists in the comics. She's Sabertooth's crime partner, her power is to keep him from going fully feral. I like her series version more though.
I can't stand Byrdie. She looks and sounds annoying. Why would they do that? Kahhori on the other hand, I can't get enough of. But still... why does What If feel like it's just trying to pander to some imagined feminist entity? Kahhori, Storm, Byrdie, Hela, Peggy Carter... Seasons 2 and 3 felt like they only cared about female characters. The band of heroes in the climax of both those seasons is ALL WOMEN. I don't personally care and I like female-driven narratives, but when I sit back and think about it, it doesn't feel intuitive to the MCU or Marvel comics. Rather it feels like someone trying to force the audience of Marvel to skew female, which doesn't work and only angers a portion of the existing fan base.
Same. I've seen similar plots with the Starbrand baby, and the star imagery that keeps repeating in the episode. Like her nightlight, what Zeus says about her birth being predicted by the Stars, and the star mark on her. They just didn't use the word Starbrand
Well no since Howard’s race would be considered sentient like humans it’s like dating a foreigner in that aspect if they don’t understand earth customs, but since Howard knows earth customs he’s fine
Yes. It is beastiality. He's not a different RACE than her. Him being sentient doesn't change the fact that he's an entirely different SPECIES than her. Which by definition 100% makes it beastiality without room for debate.

What surprised me, when I saw BYRDIE again, is that her hair color changed from light-blue to orange, once she became a young adult.
Not that strange really. Most birds look totally different as hatchlings compared to their adult plumage.
If intentional, then clever on the writers part.
