Kinky Friedman - a short presentation to his world. Filmed in his home in Texas for SVT in 1998

Kinky Friedman at his house on his family ranch outside San Antonio, Texas. Exclusive footage from a couple of hot days in the summer of 1998 talking about his books and his music. Kinky is reading from Elvis Jesus and Coca Cola and singing They Aint Making Jews Like Jesus Anymore. It contains short interviews with Kinkys dad Tom and Village Irregulars Larry Ratso Sloman and Mike McGovern from New York. The short documentary was filmed for the Swedish cultural show Nike as his book, Elvis Jesus and Coca Cola, translated by my friend Henrik Gjerstad, was released in Sweden by the publishing house Leander&Malmsten. The film was shot on mini-dv and is without graphics and subtitles.
