Willie Nelson and Jody Payne perform "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You" live at the Farm Aid concert in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 18, 1994. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

He played a little different when he was playing Solo or with one other person he used to play at the Flora Bama a lot when not traveling with Willie. His wife Vicki was a really good friend of the girl I stayed with when I was in Mobile. We had a lot of fun he was as both him and his wife were really good people. He used to live about a mile from my parents house when he was living in Mobile. Have some good memories at least he got a couple years to be with VIcki before he passed away. RIP my friend.
