@John Mitchell Man, you never cease to impress me not just as a musician, but as an individual. For you to respond to my little comment about "The Tall Ships" being my Father's (Larry Muhoberac) funeral song, was just so kind of you. So THANK YOU... and I always look forward to anything you release... I share your TH-cam links to everyone I know in Australia who I know would appreciate what you do, man. Cheers to everything. Come to Australia!!
I spent a whole 30 days at sea - and never dropped one single note in one single thing. Now that yields a $5,000 fine - or worse. And in the U.S. Army - while in a big old South Korea ecsersize - and while we faced the ocean on one side - we did not send one bottle afloat - we left it clean there also. And while fishing the Silver Salmon Derby in Seward Alaska - and while the waves washed on by while we were doing each and every darn thing there - basically castaways with no contact with anyone - we did not cast one bottle to sea. Now there is one thing - I caught the first silver salmon of the year - and won $100. This gift was shared with me by other castaways there at the ocean. Now how would a bottle help with all of that? 😃
Quel Regatta de Robot! Love the arrangement, the piano riff is redolent of the intro to Marc Cohn's Walking in Memphis. Ironically, Cohn had one of his songs (the Clapton-esque 'Fallen Angel') on the soundtrack companion album for the 1999 movie 'Message in a bottle'. Synchronicity, non?
Who can help but return to this version of this classic song?
It’s soooooo good 🌟❤️🌟❤️🌟
The piano version of this classic is brilliant and your voice perfect

That’s a stunning version. I prefer it to the original.
If the Frosties ever get back out there, you have to put this in the set list. Well done, mate!

Brilliant. Don't suppose you could sneak over to Steven Wilson's place and do the falsetto bits in his songs?
