Home made jigs are always nice to have. Just use materials you have on hand and no need to buy anything. I also do woodwork and have made several jigs over the years
I watched and enjoyed and "Liked" your video. Furthermore, I'm a subscriber now. When and if you do the seal repair video, could you use one of the 100 watt quartz lights, that I see hanging in the rafters of your shop, to throw a little more light on your bench. On my computer, at least, the video is a little too dark and I'm going to be using your video to repair my gun. Thanks for sharing your work.
Sitting with my family looking at go kart racetracks listed in USA just as I see one in Syracuse NY I announce " we could go see Nibs if we went to this racetrack??" Before I can look up to see my Wife's Response, notification rings new Walnut and Steel upload! Yes ! Sorry no trip for me anytime soon lol
I got myself the cheapest clamp I could find on amazon hopefully it will work fine 😁 Im a not even sure I will use wood I want to use the clamp alone first
Just one thought, you really want the main tube to be secure it can’t move. If it moves around at all you run a much greater risk of bending your spring. Thats not optimal!

Nothing like ingenuity. Really good cost saving & time saving setup & will really get some use now. 👍 👍
