One spec you misquoted was "50 megapixel Stills" - these are 20 Mpx cameras, the Lite with the smaller 1/2.3" (.8") camera with the Sony Sensor does 50 megapixel through Quad Bayer Sensor (Sony). Don't feel too bad, Autel has been jumbling specs between Lite/Lite+ in THEIR marketing material. One Print ad said it had a 1/2.3 AND a 1" Sensor. They also kept saying the Lite+ does portrait/vertical shooting via a 4 Axis Gimbal. Took forever to sort out exactly what is what. I loved the 4 axis gimbal idea but glad I went for the Plus -its the evolution of Evo 2 Pro Camera (its NOT RYYB, that's ALSO the smaller Sensor camera, lol!)
The price on the Autel Evo Lite + Premium Bundle has come down extremely. I wasn't even considering the Evo Lite Plus Premium Bundle, since I already have the Mavic 3, & 5 other DJI drones. But last month Autel had a father's day sale, $839 for the Lite + Premium Bundle, I couldn't resist at that price. I got it 2 weeks ago, but haven't opened the box yet. I plan on trying it out this weekend.
The most garbage drone I ever owned. I had to use it for a paid shoot due to NFZ and the app would not let me control ISO, aperture, shutter speed NOTHING. It says pro mode but nothing adjusts. YES I know how to use drones owned 3 inspire 2, mavic 3, m2p, phantom 4 pro. Autel is a good 5 years behind DJI. Skip this nonsense get a air2s .
My one lets me control Ap in Pro mode? Its a lite+ Premium and cost £799 a week ago. Even the Mini 4 pro fly more combo is £200 more expensive than the Autel...lol...
Great test! Autel is a strong contender and competitor. All Autel footage I've ever seen has been absolutely excellent. 👍
